Could not have gone any better!!  We are so happy with the addition.  The work crew was the nicest , polite and considerate I've ever had to deal with.  The construction was done in three weeks and would have been quicker if the inspectors could have gotten by quicker.  We even came in a hair under estimate.

    American Pride General Construction
He did everything he said he would do and more. Took pride in his work.did not have to be supervised, just told me what he was going to do,showed up on time and it wasn't uncommon for him to work 12 hour days. He is extremely trustworthy.i felt comfortable leaving him and his employees here while i did errands. He also hauled off all his trash.we have numerous projects that we will be hiring him to do in the near future, as well as a rental property that will be needing some updating.

    Hawkins Home Improvements
Pretty much covered above, I was thrilled to find someone that wasn't out to goudge me.  Over the years I've had terrible experiences and don't walk into anything anymore with my eyes shut.  Mr. Hawkins was meticulous in his estimate, has a strong work ethic, and made sure I understood step by step what was entailed in the reconstruction process.  He was also very sharing of information about products that he used and why he used them, so he educates while he works.  I don't think there's anything he can't do, but he's honest about that too.

He does construction work, but for me he installed an atrium roof. He was way too meticulous, and did a very good job.

    Corn-Struction Inc
Contacted Jake Corn, whom we knew from having used him for the construction of a porch roof on the front of our house. When he came to assess the scope of the second job, he did try to fix a leak on that front porch roof that he had built a few months earlier.  After explaining what we wanted, Jake drew up a contract, sent his wife over to have it signed and we started work shortly thereafter.   When they came to start the job,  Jake tried to fix a leak in the front roof a second time. Guess what?  It is still leaking, only worse, more than a year later. He does guarantee his work for a year but since it seldom rains out here.... Work was finished in a timely manner, cleanup was excellent, and overall, we were satisfied with the exception of the last day of work when Jake brought in several young inexperienced neighbors to apply the shingles.  Can you guess?  More than a year later, when we finally had a rain... the roof leaks.  Badly.  Did I contact him?  No. Am just too disgusted. He would most likely come out to 'fix' it without any argument, but since he was unsuccessful at fixing the front, I have no confidence that he can fix the side. I really did like the construction techniques he used on the framing.  All quality, no shortcuts, but doggone it, his roofing does leave something to be desired.

    Reliant Capitol
I strongly caution anyone considering Reliant Capitol as a contractor for home improvements. My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s and we needed to replace a shower with one that included safety bars and a removable shower head. The salesman assured me the work could be done quickly (start in 1 to 2 months) and that installation was a two day process. After 4 months of no word from Reliant Capitol I started phoning their installation office in Phoenix to see why there was such a long delay. Initially my calls were not returned, but through persistence I was eventually able to speak to someone in charge of installations. I expressed extreme displeasure with the lack of communication about our job and told them going forward they should inform me about any more delays or changes to the schedule. Despite their promises to do a better job, the next two months it took to install the shower were a series of broken schedules with no communication from the company. I specifically asked the installation not be started until all the necessary materials were on hand because our need to have access to a shower. Shower installation ballooned from 2 days to a month because the job started with incomplete and incorrect fixtures and they did not send shower doors. The installation crew would often promise to be back the next working day to complete the job, but it would be weeks before hearing from them again. The installation may well have taken longer had I not been on the phone demanding action. By the end of the job I wish I had never heard of Reliant Capitol. There is nothing reliable about this company.
