    Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control
    The estimated date of service was as promised and the workers were punctual and polite. Having never had work done to exterminate termites I did not know it required digging around and foundation or drilling into concrete but on the whole I was satisfied that they they were exterminated as they had entered one room inside the house, which was unsettling. I notified my neighbors and one other house had the same problem and used their service upon my recommendation.

    We were remodeling a closet and took off 12 year old floor moulding only to find termite tracks! Our handyman recommended Atomic as a good exterminator. Chris came out and diagnosed an isolated infestation of termites. He treated the local area quickly. But he said while there wasn't obvious evidence of any further infestation, he'd have to reinspect periodically. A few weeks later, we remodeled another closet and saw the tracks again in a different area of the house. Chris came back and then did a full termite eradication treatment. He credited us for the work already done and gave us a 5 year warranty. During that time he will periodically re-inspect the house. Chris was very professional, explaining all that needed to be done. he pointed to his great reputation on Angie's list which we checked and confirmed. He was punctual and efficient in both treatments. His price was reasonable and he was very professional.

    Prices keep going up and quality of service keeps going down. The price for service continually crept up sometimes twice a year. They never warned me about the increase or explained why the cost kept going up. They no longer treat my house as thoroughly as they did in the early years of hiring them. The service they provided was good for the most part, but in the last year I have been disappointed in their ability to control my pests. I will be hiring a different company because I have been bothered by ants and spiders when I shouldn't be and haven't been before this last year.

    We have been using this service since moving into our new home in 2016. We rarely see (one or two a year) any bugs, spiders or ants. The one time we saw ants inside the house they promptly came out to spray inside at no charge, end of problem. On one other occasion there was a spider web in the corner of the fence we mentioned it to the tech and he made sure the nest was irradicated, once again no further incidents.

    We have been using them for years. When we did the remodeling we found some signs of them and they came out and took care of it under the warranty for them. They have been real responsive for any calls we have made for anything. I haven't compared price. I haven't been shopping around. It is one of those where you sign up for a year's worth of coverage and if anything shows up you're under that coverage.

    Proactive Pest & Weed Control
    Perfectly. Jed (owner) was knowledgeable about our issues and provided excellent education. Dave, our tech who did our service today, was DILIGENT, thorough and ALSO provided education and advocacy for our needs. He was NOT in-and-out in 10 minutes and did not cut corners. altho' it was after 5 p.m. and he still had not only 2 other homes to service but had a family waiting at home; he did a THOROUGH job and we could tell he was invested in our positive outcome. This company exemplifies integrity; that is, doing one's best even when no one is watching, AND is a good value (because of all above). Jed has problem-solved for us in this and our previous home and has eradicated our problems/"pests!" Other providers might return regularly, charge same or more but not address/eradicate the issues. We are thankful to have found this team! We highly recommend them!

    Here is a copy of the report I submitted to the BBB: A technician (Jason) came to our house to treat the exterior with pesticide because we are having a problem with scorpions. This company has performed this service for us on two previous occasions -- once in 2014 and once in 2015. I have been unable to have the house treated more often than that because they don't return phone calls. But the treatment that they have applied in the past has been effective enough to keep the scorpions out of the house and to also kill many other bugs that try to enter the house through the garage. I made it clear when I called this year that I wanted the same service performed that was done in the previous years. But this year their service was ineffective. The problem is even worse now. Now in looking over the paperwork that the technician filled out, I can see that he listed the target insects as "American Roaches, Ants, Oriental Roaches". In addition, he sprayed only a very small amount of pesticide compared to what was applied in previous years (the print on the paperwork is very light, but I tried to read it as best as I could). And Flint's stores customers' previous information in their computer, which they bring with them when they spray. So they should have known the amount to spray, as well as which chemicals to use. That was not up to me. I have no idea how much or what chemicals they are supposed to use. I know only that the treatments in 2014 and 2015 were effective. Last night I was up almost all night because of the scorpion problem, but I made sure to call as soon as I was able to this morning (it was around 10:30 AM) in order to make sure that a technician could come back to retreat the house to honor their 30-day guarantee. I called Jason directly. He said that he was going out of town but that he would have another technician call me to set up an appointment to spray tomorrow. I said that I wanted someone to spray today, and that if he couldn't get someone in here today, that I would call another pest control company because I said that I couldn't spend another night in this house like last night. Jason said he would get a technician here today. I asked him if the technician would be calling me back so that I would know what time to expect him, and he said yes. But no one called me. I waited two hours before calling again (this time I called the number for Flint's Pest Control even though Jim Flint never answers the phone and never returns a phone call). I left a message. Several minutes later, I received a call from Jason. He was defensive and belligerent. He wanted to know, first and foremost, how much I had paid for the service!! [There are two payment levels, based on the size of the house. Single stories are charged less than two-story houses (which makes no sense to me since single stories have a larger perimeter that needs to be sprayed). I have always been charged the lesser of the two amounts even though we have a two-story house -- NOT because I insist on it but rather because FLINT'S insists on it. They have told me the reason is because we have no landscaping. I have always offered to pay the other amount, but they always refuse to accept it. In addition, they have sprayed only the exterior of our home (including the garage), which takes them only a very short amount of time. They have not said that that is a reason for the lesser charge, but it makes sense to me that it would factor into their reasoning. But apparently they have no reasoning]. After finding out that I paid "only" $85.00 plus tax (for a total of $91.11 -- which in my opinion is a lot of money for the service they provide -- and I also tipped him 10 bucks; my bad), Jason defiantly told me that in order to honor the "guarantee", I would need to live with the problem for awhile before they would spray again (not his exact words, but that is what it amounts to). In other words, he is implying that the pesticide will work, given time. But the treatment is NOT going to work. He targeted the wrong pests, and in addition he barely used any pesticide at all. Yet after he had sprayed, he happily told me that it was guaranteed for 30 days. He didn't say, "you didn't pay us enough to guarantee the guarantee". Unscrupulous. Furthermore, during this second "conversation" today, Jason said that because a lot of technicians are wanting to take the weekend off, that the earliest I could even expect to have the house retreated is Monday! He said during our first conversation today that it was definitely going to be Saturday (today is Friday); but now Jason and Jim (Jason put me on hold to talk to someone while I was on the phone with him -- I assume he called Jim) have decided to increase their level of unprofessionalism to the point where they are making me wait until Monday for service. But I no longer want their services. I want a full refund. Thanks to the fact that Jason lied and led me to believe that I was waiting for a technician to call me back, I lost two hours where I could have been calling other pest control companies in the hope that someone could spray our home today. As soon as I got off the phone with Jason the second time, when I realized that no one would be spraying our home today, I left a message for another pest control company. Because Jason wasted my entire morning, I will most likely be unable to have the house sprayed today by any company. If he had not lied to me at 10:30, maybe the other company could have found time to treat our house today. I want a full refund. I wish I could ask for more than that, since I lost a night's sleep and then an additional two hours of my time this morning waiting for a phone call that never came (until I called them again), only to be spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manner (and Jim has also been rude in the past). I wish I had called a different pest control company altogether in the first place. I called this one because I thought they were the only one around that didn't require a contract, or quarterly service. But I now realize that there are other companies -- companies that charge much less than this one. In addition, typing this has taken sooo much of my time. I typed this immediately after getting off the phone with Jason. I told him that I would be contacting the BBB for a full refund, and then I hung up the phone. He did not call back, so I assume that they don't care -- just as they do not care about doing a good job or about honoring their guarantee. In any case, they should not be surprised when they are contacted by the BBB with this complaint. I tried to resolve this on my own but to no avail. Update: The problem is getting worse and worse. At this point I do not even want to set foot in our master bathroom, especially in the middle of the night. These jerks are going to have a lawsuit on their hands for putting us through this, and it will cost them a lot more than the $91.11 we are currently requesting!

    It was very reasonable. Actually, he treated me and within 30 days of that, I did have some bugs show back up after he did it and he came back and completely retreated for free. It was fabulous and when he did that and set me up from that time until this May, I finally saw a spider and that was when I called. He got back to me and he was here.
