  • Had my windows tinted a few months ago. Noticed today that there was a small section at the top of a window that had come off. I called and the first response was " I don't recognize you or your car, can you send me pictures"? I sent pictures then sent a task asking when I could bring my car over. He called and said " how did you do that". I replied that I didn't do anything and that since calling I noticed several windows with small "bubbles". He said his warranty was only good for the film and he didn't work for free. He had a really bad attitude and I responded with maybe you can talk to my lawyer. He said that's fine, have him call me. He blocked my number then continued to send me texts lecturing me on my behavior, I couldn't respond since he blocked my number. He threatened legal because I was slandering him. All I wanted was for him to look at my car and stand behind his workmanship, I guess that was asking too much.

  • Disappointed (again). Been to the shop several times based on endorsements and reviews. Only once did I NOT have to bring the vehicle back for them to get it right, and that was for a window regulator replacement. Most recently, I took my car there when I discovered that the A/C had developed a leak. I recharged the system and added dye to isolate the leak. Described the problem to Rocky, told him where to have the technician look. They were very busy with cars parked all over the lot waiting to be serviced. I left the car for three days to ensure that they could spend time with it. While they had it, I asked that they check the radiator cooling fan, and a common error code for options to address it. Received a call on Friday afternoon stating there was no A/C leak, the cooling fan was fine, and the error code would require a top-end tear-down. "It's ready to be picked up," was the cheerful pronouncement. Picked up the car on Saturday morning, after paying $344.36. Driving home I turned on the A/C and got nothing but hot air. Argh. Took the car back just after they opened on Monday, described the A/C problem again, and left with hope that this would be quickly resolved. That afternoon I received a call, and they found the leak. Right where I had pointed it out the previous week. Then the estimate came to replace the lower hose at over $385 (hose $85, and 2 hours [really?!] of labor). I asked for a credit from the previous service ($49.31 for R134a and dye, plus $59.95 for A/C service, plus $98 for "test system"). To which the reply was, "There is nothing to credit." I protested that the problem was stated by me, diagnosis was wrong, and the cumulative cost was over $200 with a failure to fix the problem. No luck. I did receive a call back 10 minutes after I stated that I want the car back and I would never return. The conciliatory offer was to waive the charges for refilling the R134a and dye. Sorry, no. Never will return. (BTW, I fixed the A/C leak. Was not the lower hose, nor the upper hose. It was the compressor and I got a new one for just under $90. Hose removal (both), compressor R&R, and recharge of the system took me just under 90 minutes.)

  • We had taken our Ford F150 to another automotive repair place because it was running rough. After four days without the truck, we were told it might need a new head and we were looking at thousands of dollars for them to fix it. After spending $500.00 and driving home a truck that was missing worse, spewing gasoline, with the "check engine" light on, a friend suggested we try Brother's Automotive. The mechanic, John, asked us a few questions, looked over our truck, and within a couple of hours had diagnosed the problem. Instead of costing thousands, it was a simple repair involving a spark plug and a coil. John was so helpful and straightforward and didn't try to cheat us. This company stresses honesty in their business practices above all else. We were even surprised by a bottle of water and two cookies with a scripture attached to the package in the truck. It is so hard to find honest mechanics, and so nice to find someone we can trust with our vehicles. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work on their vehicles.

  • Extremely well. I was driving home and a rock struck my windshield leaving a pit and about an inch long crack. I drive straight to Westside Glass in Rio Rancho. Even though it was almost closing time, they took my vehicle right back and fixed the chip/crack. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. You have to hunt hard to find where the rock struck my windshield. This is the fourth time I have taken cracked windshields to Westside Glass. They'll always get my business.

  • I got to them all the time for all my tire work. They are my go-to people for tires. They are very open about their prices. The price they quote me is what I end up paying. They really do back up their warranties. Whenever I have a flat tire or have a problem with tires they take care of it. It took about five hours. The waiting room has magazines, coffee, water, and comfortable chairs.

  • They?re not very far away, so I just go to them all the time. They?ve always been really fair. The pricing?s good and they never try to do something on my car that doesn?t need to get done. They put my new tires on. The tires, gee they?ve done really good as far as wear. It was $1,000 and something. It?s competitive prices on oil changes too, like $19.99. They?re good on pricing. They?re tires and everything are excellent. They?ve always been really good like when I get in there to have work done, they?re usually very prompt at getting it done. Or they will tell me to come back when they?re booked up or something. They are professional.

Overall rating ? There was one time I went over there and I my key would get stuck in my car and they kept telling me that I had to get a locksmith or something. I was a little bit upset about that because I didn?t know what to do. It just seemed a little bit weird that day, there was some guy there and it just seemed like he was being a little bit rude. Maybe it was me because I was panicking. My car would be running and I couldn?t even get the key out. I tried to turn it off and it wouldn?t turn off, so what, am I going to leave my car running then. I finally got it out and I found out that it was because I had changed, they always give you 2 keys and I had changed the key. I went back to the original one. I guess from using it so long it wouldn?t except that other key or something. I don?t know.

  • They provided a thorough list of what needed to be done *and why*. I'm sure I could have found a lower price for all the work that needed to be done, but I'm not sure I would have found it with the care and quality that they provided. My car runs better than ever now. I am very satisfied.

  • I love them.  They're not a pain.  They'll show you a filter and say this needs to be replaced, but not be too hard sell.  I'm old; I'm 61 years old.  I worked in the IT business for forty years, and I'm a farm boy.  I know how to work on mechanics and stuff.  You know, there's so many things that I can do myself, and that's probably not the best way to live, but it works for us. My daughter introduced me to them.  I used to go to the dealership.  They pressure you.  They'll show you a filter.  And I can put a filter on my car.  I feel uncomfortable.  You're trying to sell me something that I can do myself.  It makes me very uncomfortable, but it is what it is, I suppose.  I use the one in Albuquerque because that's the one my daughter uses.  They did great.  I thought their price was excellent.  I never wait there.  You just drive up and they always seem to be available.

  • It's not that they're bad.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're bad people.  It's just that they want to pressure you into doing ... I don't mind you telling me I need to do something,  I get that.  And when I say well, I'll take care of it, that should be enough.  I'm 61 years old, I don't want you to be well this has to be done real quickly, we have it in blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.  And I'm like no, I can take care of it.  You said it needs to be done right away and I'm like no it doesn't.  I know it doesn't.  I've owned cars long enough - I'm 61 years old. They might train them to do that. I don't wanna give them any trouble, that's the problem; I don't know that I should even talk about them at all. They're just doing their jobs. I'm sure they tell them every Monday you have to have a certain amount of ... I stopped going there a year ago.  The work they did was A, but I don't think they were professional.  I think that's very unprofessional when someone's telling you they'll take care of it, for you to try to pretend because you have it there right now, that you're doing me a favor, because you're not.  You take an air filter - all these new cars have these air filters that are in the glove compartment, right?  Well we have that inside right now and we'll give you whatever off if we do it right now.  I'm like, don't worry about it - I'll take care of it.  And then I go to another provider and buy it for a third of what they were gonna charge me even with the discount they were giving me, and all I've gotta do is pop out two little things and stick it in there.  And there's always YouTube videos.  I thought their prices were high, so I give them a C. I think everything they did was good, so let's give them an A for quality.  There was no dirt in the car and it seemed like when we drove away everything was working right.  With the dealership, you had to call them up and you had to actually get an appointment to get things done.  You can't just drive up.  For professionalism, because they harassed me I would give them a D.

  • I would grade them the best.  That's one of the reasons I got a Honda - for their service department.  Like I said, I've used them for years.  This is my second car with them.  They don't suggest things that you don't need, they keep track of your vehicle and tell you what is needed, and that's it.
