I am in a wheelchair and cannot transfer to the dentist exam chair. The dental hygienist was able to perform the teeth cleaning with me staying in my wheelchair, and even took an X-ray of my sensitive tooth. After my cleaning, the dentist came in and examined my teeth. He said I have an occlusion which was causing my sensitive tooth. He shaved down the back of my upper tooth and that seemed to help. Hopefully the sensitivity will go away.

Everything was explained in detail. They were very gentle.  They did a good job and were very thorough. I did not experience the pain I thought I would.   I wish I could go back but I don't have any insurance so it was costly for me.

It was awful!  Not only was I drugged out of my mind, I could not communicate with the dentist or his staff whatsoever.  I remember waking up at one point during the procedure and whimpering because my face hurt.
I was told after my appointment that I would need a root canal for one of the teeth under the 3-part bridge before a permanent  bridge could be cemented into my mouth and was fitted with a temporary bridge.  The temporary bridge was painful and constantly wiggled in my mouth.  A different dentist was recommended to do the root canal.
The root canal took two days and left me in miserable pain two days before Thanksgiving.
I started to lose weight very quickly because I was unable to chew food without causing myself terrible pain.
At a follow up appointment, Dr. Young-Trujillo could not get the temporary bridge out of my mouth and it had to be cut out.  He made a new mold of my mouth for the permanent bridge and got the molding clay stuck in my mouth.  In a panic, Dr. Young-Trujillo stood over me to pull out the molding clay and punched me in my upper teeth hard enough for me to stop him and check to see if I was missing a tooth.
He never apologized, stopped to see if I was ok, or made any acknowledgment that he had just punched the you-know-what out of me.  What was supposed to be a 45 minute procedure took 3 hours.
I was fitted with a new temporary bridge and told a new one would be ready in 7 to 10 days.  The new temporary bridge was sharp, very very painful and started to lose its adhesive glue the second day I was wearing it.  I would spit out little pieces of white dental glue for the next 11 days.  I wore a temporary bridge for so long, that the gum line under the bridge started to grow over the tooth buds in my mouth that the bridge attached to and the tissue had to be cut out for the new bridge to fit properly.
My new bridge came in after the promised date because of a "issue with the lab that makes the bridges".
It was a 5 week ordeal.  The four cavities that the dentist fixed for me constantly hurt.  The new permanent three-part bridge will ache randomly.  I have a headache every day and cannot sleep properly because of constant mouth pain.  I have lost 23 pounds and avoid chewing food as much as possible.
Avoid this dentist at all costs.  I will never go back to him.  Don't get me started on the billing issues we had..............According to my insurance company, we were being over billed by more than $700.

Great staff, amazing environment, the staff is outstanding, every single one of them, he is very nice, funny, professional, he's very gentle, if you have an emergency, your gonna get seen. The environment, the building, the way it looks is very cool so its really nice and the staff like I said is outstanding, every single one, I haven't got across a bad one yet, very rare in Dentistry, nobody left since he started, they're all there.

I think it's the best kept secret here.

You're only seeing senior students. You're only going to have at most 2 appointments with them before they graduate.

I have been going there for 5 years now, and I've never had a bad experience.

The instructors are right there every step of the way, verifying their work.

If you're willing to give up your time to have a student perform the work, it's well worth it.

Friendly staff, but during the cleaning the x-ray were very uncomfortable and painful. Technician was very friendly. Very disappointed with dentist, very young and inexperienced and not professional. Very poor communication during the visit with dentist.

Hygienist cleaned my teeth and Dr. Lynch came to check my teeth.  He is very nice and thorough.  another attendant in the office constructed the mouth guard to prevent teeth grinding.  It works very well.

I had a tooth and post come out.  They could not fit me in the day I
notified them of my need for service but was not in pain.  They
scheduled me for an appointment within a week and then called me the
next day when someone canceled.  The Dentist was personable,
professional and efficient.  I have been getting dental work for 50
years and have moved around and worked with many dentists both good and
not so good.  This one is a keeper.

Cleaning went well. Gums are now in good shape unlike a year or so ago when, after two years with no dental care, I first visited VFD. Following a deep cleaning I am now having four cleanings a year.

He is very careful and he makes sure that you are not in any pain.  He prescribed antibacterial mouthwash for me after my surgery and also pain medication.  He did such a great job that I never ended up using the pain medication.  His staff is wonderful as well as the front office.  They greet by name and are very friendly.
