    Mike Meister Appliance Technician
Mike showed up with a helper and started working on my problem within 45 mins they had it fixed and only charge me $55 for a service call and $53 for labor. They were great and are the one I'll call for all my Appliance problems because they care about people and giving great service at a fare price.

    ROY'S APPLIANCE
Roy was easy to get a hold of and was kind enough to make an appointment for me after work. He was prompt and there before the scheduled time. I called Roy as he came highly recommended by a half dozen people when I asked around about appliance repair. He fixed my oven in under a half hour and for substantially less than I thought it was going to cost me. He thoroughly explained the work that he did and I will gladly recommend him and call him if I need any repairs in the future. Thanks Roy!!!! A++++

    Mike's Independent Repair Services Inc
I highly recommend Mike Meister for appliance repairs. In addition to being a very experienced and knowledgeable technician, he was very honest and personable. He knew exactly what to do to solve the problem with my gas dryer, and his cost was very reasonable. Another important thing about Mike--he actually got here on the day he promised and within the appointment time frame he estimated! My opinion is that Mike's Independent Repair Services is an excellent and reliable source for major appliance repairs. Based on my experience, I will not hesitate to call Mike in the future.

    ROY'S APPLIANCE
He did not charge me for the time he took to get to my home and his time to check the frig and determine that it could not be fixed.  He was very professional and I was amazed that he would not charge for his time and expertise!

    Joe's Home Appliance Service
I expected to pay for his time and trip to my home. He would not take any money for his service because as he said.. "he would not be able to fix it, I needed to buy a new one." I was shocked that he did not charge for his time and trip to my home. It is unheard of in this society! He explained the problem and told me to have a good day and even went so far as to tell me where he would recommend for me to buy and where I would pay more. . It was so refreshing! An honest, punctual and willing to not charge for his time in turn for a "good and honest deed!!!!!" Unbelievable! I am 71 years old and had not had such an experience in YEARS!!! I Would recommend him highly. "Honesty" when it comes to money, is rare and not as common as it was when I was growing up.....Refreshing!!

    JESSE'S APPLIANCE
Friday, the provider never showed up.  At noon, my husband called him and he answered his phone stating he was having breakfast(at 11:45am)with his daughter and that he'll try and make it out today(Friday, Sept 13th, 2013) and that he just got the part.  The provider didn't even call us and state that he was running late, we had to call him to get this information.  I, then called him back and asked him what time he was going to be here to fix our machine, he said "Maybe Later", if he could things done.  I told my husband that he did not give me a time.  By now, our day was all messed up because he never showed or called for the morning appt.  My husband called him back to find out exactly what time he would be at our house, provider did not answer phone.  I called provider, again, to ask him what time, and he did not answer his phone.  I left him a message telling him to call us about an exact time, so that someone would be here to let him in the house.  He never returned our calls.  My daughter calls him from her cell and he picks up the phone, she asked him what time he was going to be at our house and he told my daughter that he has decided he wasn't going to do the job that he was returning our money and that we were rude.  My daughter asked him what time he was going to return our money $101.77?  he stated, "Later".  My daughter again, asked him what time later?  He said maybe around 3pm on Friday that he had a lot of customers.  My daughter stated, we were his customers since Monday and he took our money and hasn't fixed anything.  He told my daughter that he would be at our house to return our money around 3pm on Friday, Sept 13th, 2013.  He never showed, returned our calls, or answered any of my daughters calls to him there after.  This is the most unprofessional provider I have ever dealt with.  He has stolen documented money from us without any service.  He never showed up or called to let us know that he wasn't coming on Friday, and, never showed to return our money as he stated.  I believe this provider is scamming customers.  Pay half now for parts, and pay the other half later when we actually fix the appliance that is broken.  Customers beware!!!!

    CROWN TV & ELECTRONICS
Well i had a problem with my father in laws's 60 inch tv. its a little old one of those projection televisions from a few years back, picture quality still great for its age, 1080hd. The problem was it would get power but when turned on it would only stay on for about 5 seconds then shut itself off. i called crown to get an estimate ( 50 bucks ). I took it in and they looked at it. Next day or two they call me back and tell me there is nothing worng with the television they had it running all morning long no problem. I'm very greatful for the honesty they could have easily ripped me off. Great service but getting a 60 inch television there was a pain. Would certainly use them again.

    Mike's Independent Repair Services Inc
My 1962 Hotpoint/GE stove started throwing sparks when I was cleaning the oven. Mike's Independent Repair Services was the first appliance repair service that was comfortable working on a stove that old. The stove is built into the cabinetry in the kitchen and replacing it would have required us to rip up counters and cabinets to get it out. Mike was familiar with the stove make, model and year when I called (two other appliance repair places laughed when they heard this stove is almost 50 years old). He could have come out the next day, but I made the appt. for the day after. He gave me a 2-hr window for the estimated arrival time, and was at my house within that time period. He was not able to repair the wiring to the light inside the oven, but was able to sort of tape it off and make it safe. He also evaluated the four burners on the stove top. Three work well but the fourth needed both a new burner and a new switch, and he told me those parts aren't available anymore. We turned the power on and tested both oven and burners when he was done. I am low on cash right now and am happy to have a range that works (I can easily live without the oven light and 3 burners instead of 4). My biggest concern was that the stove be safe to use, and I'm confident that it is after having Mike work on it. He and his helper arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and knew what they were doing. His hourly rate of $55 is comparable with other repair services in this area. He spent about one hour here and the total charge including tax was just under $60. He has several licenses and also works on refrigerqators, freezers, washers, dryers and dishwashers. Bonded and insured. I would DEFINITELY use him again!
