    Busy Bees
    (1) Margo and Benny's team cleaned our windows (inside and out), scoured and cleaned all surfaces, vacuumed, shop-vac'd in tricky places, dusted, swept, and mopped a house that hadn't been cleaned properly in years. They arrived on-time and got right to work, were polite and responsive when we made special requests (such as avoiding harsh chemicals or strongly aromatic cleaners), and finished on time. The cleaning bill came in at $751.69, which was consistent with the estimated amount. (2) On a separate day, Benny arrived early with three additional men and several trucks to help us with a "hybrid" move; that is, we packed things and they moved it all. They moved a great many pre-packed boxes as well as all of our furniture. They set things up where we asked for them to and were ready to disassemble and reassemble furniture whenever necessary (or just give me free tips on how to do it myself). They were careful and attentive and finished the job in under three hours, and the bill came in at $785.33, well under the maximum of the range that Margo gave us when she gave us an estimate. I would happily hire them for an across-city move again.

    Voyage Moving
EXCELLENT. They were professional, came in under estimated time (and therefore cost) and both movers went the extra mile in every respect. I absolutely want to emphasise the professionalism of the people doing the move. No matter what the companies intention, if there is no follow through by the people doing the work, it is all for nothing. The owner responded quickly to email and concerns as well as being honest and forthright in every respect. There were no hidden charges or costs and everything was known in advance of the move. Before the move the owner conducted an on-site inspection to be sure everything was taken into account in his estimate so there would be not hidden surprises. A very positive experience and I recommend them to anyone needing a moving service.

    Voyage Moving
Excellent. Voyage was on time and below budget. The personnel put in the extra effort to make the move quick, easy and under budget. The owner returned emails and messages quickly as well as keeping us in the loop every step of the way. All in all, ten out of ten. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

    Coleman American Moving Services Inc
With so many things to do, this sounded like a good option to me. The items that I was moving had been through several moves and during all those moves, they had arrived to me pretty much unscathed. Unfortunately, this was not the case for this particular move. Most things came with some level of damage (mild to not so mild). On the pick up day, the driver and his helpers said that they had been told that I would pack everything, which I said I would try to do. However, they arrived with no supplies in the event that something needed to be packed. I felt incredibly rushed on that day. (I must admit that they did accommodate me when I had to push back the pick up a day one day when I got sick the evening before the pick up day. I was grateful for that.) But, by the time the actual day came around I felt as if I, as a client, was just seen as a quick easy sale to bring cash/income into the office. I would have a difficult time recommending Coleman/Allied after the overall experience I had with them this time. My advice to the agency, is to treat every client the same way you would treat a corporate client. You never know if that person would be in a position to decide on your bid for a larger account.

    Busy Bees
Benny of Busy Bees and his crew are responsive, professional, and get the job done. While they are able to provide the labor, it works best to provide guidance while they do the actual work. They are not cheap, but they are able to get the job done. I definitely plan to continue using their services.

    Voyage Moving
This was the easiest move I've ever had! Jarod was very up front about his pricing and his quote was what the move ended up costing. No surprises. He was also very communicative and was quick with responses. His workers were polite and professional and I didn't have to lift a finger! Overall a smooth move and I was happy with the care of my furniture and boxes. I've already recommended them to other friends and colleagues.

    Mabey's Moving & Storage Inc
They followed me up with an apartment inspection after an initial online quote. Mike Ghent was punctual, patient with my questions and explained the moving process very well. However, I didn't use them as their binding moving estimate was higher compared to other moving companies. I was satisfied with the company I chose to work with who offered similar services for significantly less money. If the price was right, I wouldn't have hesitated to move with them as they gave the impression of a reliable company.

    A+ Moving
Though they were flexible and able to commit to a time quickly, they consistently were over 2-3 hours late each time. Did not clearly communicate when they would come by to pack up, etc. All they did was randomly throw my stuff in boxes. Did not use mattress cover or tell me to provide one, mattress was very dirty and got permanent stains. Also stained the carpet & walls and scratched the floor, cracked some wall corners in new home. Did not provide own materials, except some boxes and plastic wrap which were purchased at Uhaul. Used personal packing materials without asking. Would hire local people in the area for packing, loading and unloading. Used a Penske rental truck and trailer bed for hauling car, was a day late due to truck AC breakdown. Made the carpet and wood floor dirty while moving items. Stated that items would be insured, but that is highly doubtful if I find them missing or broken. Forgot a box of items from the kitchen that I needed to replace and purchase myself. Asked for cash as the final payment, seemed extremely sketchy. Ill never trust Angies List ratings and reviews again!!!

The Moving Company- Allied Van lines
They came a couple days early and they packed everything in boxes and they labelled the boxes like kitchen things and garage things. I think this was a Friday and we couldn’t move until the Monday. They packed it all in the truck and they took the truck back to their place and Monday they moved us and then they brought boxes in the house where they were supposed to go. It was definitely worth the money. The three men that came were professional and they knew their job. They didn’t break any furniture and we have some large furniture that they had to bring out the house into the truck and took it off the truck into a smaller truck. They did a great job moving furniture that wasn’t in boxes. They did a great job.

The Moving Company- Allied Van lines
Allied was not the cheapest quote for our move from Las Cruces but their customer service agent had the best service, which is why we chose them. However, their customer service agent is apparently the only one in the company who has any customer service. Otherwise, the move was a GIGANTIC DISASTER!.
We were told there would be 2-days of packing, 1-day to load the truck and 1-day to unload. The packers didn't show up until 3pm on the first day of packing. They stayed until 11pm; keeping my 7 and 4-year old children awake. The second day they didn't show up until noon. Consequently they didn't finish the pack prior to the trucks arrival. The people who showed up to load the truck were actually GREAT; very professional. However they loaded the truck before the packers could even show up for the day so literally had to sit around and wait. The packers finally arrived at 7pm and so while they packed the loaders loaded. They finally left our home at midnight.
And, just in case you're wondering, we made our reservation 3-months in advance. This wasn't a last minute move in any way, shape or form.
Our items arrived on time thankfully but the service got worse. One of the people unloading the truck was routinely seen dropping boxes by my wife and was actually fired by the driver during our unload. Our new home sustained a lot of damage to the walls and floor from the unloaders. The two drivers were actually very professional, however the local people they had with them were exceptionally careless and unprofessional. The driver told us to include the damage to the home with our claim.
When we submitted the damage claim we were told by Allied that they were NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage not documented by the driver and they REFUSED to pay for any of the damage to our home.
The moral of the story is that you should absolutely never, NEVER EVER use this company unless you'd like your stress level raised and your items and your home DESTROYED.
Just abhorid service. I feel like I could have destroyed the stuff myself and saved almost $10,000.
