    DE'S LOCK & KEY
I called DE's Lock & Key one afternoon to request that four locks on a new home be replaced, and to have four corresponding keys cut. Ms. Sheldon cheerfully scheduled a visit for the next morning and estimated the cost of the job. Mr. Sheldon showed up 10 minutes early the next morning, polite and engaging, and got right to work. He finished in under an hour, and would probably have finished much sooner but that we fell into a pleasant conversation along the way. All four new keys fit beautifully into their new locks. The price was $115.89, precisely what I'd been quoted when I called. I would certainly hire again.

    AL'S LOCKSMITH
Called on Jan 25 at 9am to have lock rekeyed. Appointment made for 1:30 pm. No one showed up. At 3pm I called and was told the guy should had been there, and will call back. As of 5pm no one showed up or called. On Jan 26 at 9am I called again. Was assured someone would be there "shortly". By 11:00 am no call and no one showed up. So I called De's Lock & Key who did come at 1:30 pm and re keyed the locks in under an hour. Never heard back from Al's.

    DE'S LOCK & KEY
He was prompt and gave me great advice. He did great work. When later that day, I found out that some of the keys didnt work, he came back the next day and re did the keys at no charge what so ever. He stands behind his work. This is an excellent service.

    Cisneros Locksmith
Excellent experience. The sub contractor (Eagle Locksmiths) came quickly after I called. They called enroute to confirm the address. They did all the work quickly and efficiently and tidied up after completing the work. They were professional, polite and reasonable. I would use this service again.

    DE'S LOCK & KEY
After the theft, our first call was to the police.  After checking Angie's List, our second call was to DE'S LOCK AND KEY.   I will always be glad they are the ones we contacted.  I have to admit that my memory on the "cost of service" is a little fuzzy--do not use my estimate to estimate the job you may need to have done.  My focus was all about, "Who is this person coming to out to our house?"  So, while I cannot tell you the exact price we paid, I can tell you that the charges did NOT take advantage of our feeling of vulnerability.  He was punctual and professional.  He takes pride in his work and the business relationship he has built up over the years in the Las Cruces area.  The locks and keys work MUCH better than the original ones.  In the future, if I ever accidentally lock myself out of the house or car, these are the people I will be calling.

    Cisneros Locksmith
Changed one set of locks and rekeyed door for me. I called him to do another door at the same residence and he agreed to do it. Set an appointment for the next morning. He didn't show up. I called him after waiitng 30 minutes; he forgot. Made an appointment for right after lunch -- 2 1/2 hours later. He didn't show up for that appointment either! Didn't call, never explained, showed no courtesy, professionalism, respect for my time. I was very disappointed after my first experience was so good.Changed

    Integrity Max Locksmiths
My parents had an issue with one of their door knobs and locks, and needed it replaced or changed.  I found Integrity on Angie's List, and advised them to use based on other reviews. They were responsive, on time, well priced and went over and above to check the locks on all the other doors. Needless to say, I recommend these people.

    DE'S LOCK & KEY
Josie is an amazing person. We have used her for years for all of our lock and key needs. We have NEVER had to return to have a key re-cut (unlike the quick cut providers at hardware stores). She will order specialty locks, re-key your old ones, duplicate regular keys and ones that require special blanks. Any blank she doesn't stock she can find and get in for you. Her prices are low and her service is outstandingly good. I have not used the off-site locksmith services to get into my house or car (thank goodness I haven't needed to!) so I can't evaluate that part of De's business.

    AL'S LOCKSMITH
The job was fairly simple--IF you knew what to do. And David (I think this was the young man's name) knew what to do and showed me how to do it next time I wanted to re-key the deadbolts. David clearly was familiar with the product. A+ in know how.
The interaction between David and me became a bit confusing at one point. I became confused because David was wrapping up a business transaction on his cell phone while he was taking care of my door and answering my questions. I did not know if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. (I would suggest completing one business item before moving onto another. C+ in this area)
The only complaint I have is that the company does not have a good scheduling system (D in this category). My morning appointment at 10:00 was overlooked by the young man who was supposed to take the job. He had a family emergency come up and did not notify the company of his appointment with me. When I called the company phone number to ask why no one had arrived, David returned the call and explained. He squeezed me into an early afternoon slot. Though he arrived late, I appreciated that he accommodated me on that particular day. He also took all this into account and knocked off $10.00 from the overall charge. I paid $25.00 for his service, and was pleased. However, I was not working on this day. What about people who have a job and depend on appointments being kept? No one should have to take a full day off to have a simple job completed.

Another glitch with my Schlage lock system came up the following day. This problem was NOT David's fault; it is a problem in the design of the deadbolts. I called David, he ordered the necessary part, and I waited and waited (made a follow up phone call; part not in yet) and waited and waited for an update that never came. After 3 weeks, I took care of the problem myself with the help of Lowe's Home Improvement Center customer service.
This second business transaction is the reason the score is so low. It is related to the absence of some scheduling/follow up system in the company's business management. They are busy, no doubt. But Al's Lock and Key is too busy to worry about small peanuts like me. Though I appreciate that David took care of my immediate business on May 1 (A-/B+), I can see how any job requiring follow up may become a nightmare.
So if you have a simple fix, I think Al's Lock and Key can be helpful and reasonable...but assume they may be late.

    Las Cruces Lockout Svcs
They came to my house and they can’t get the safe open. They were nice; they just kind of can’t do the work I told them to do but they were good on other stuffs and they were very quick.
