Everything went along smooth and on schedule, very courteous and professional attitude as well as willing to answer any questions along the way. They did an excellent job matching the original house paint as well as the new roofing tile.

Jack Roevens has been in business for 20 years.  He does most kinds of construction from building new homes to rehabs.  He is personable, meticulous and puts out a superior product.  I'd give him an A++.

    Nu-Tec R & C Inc

Nu-Tec did a superb job of building our home!  From the very beginning until the day we received the Certificate of Occupation Ed and Keith were engaged with us. They recommended an architect to assist with the floor plans and throughout the building process both Ed and Keith made suggestions on how the construction could be improved. Cost saving improvements - yes.  Cheap - no!!!  They do  quality Work!!!  Unfortunately for me, my job required me to move to Virginia, but I felt comfortable that the Nu-Tec Team would not let my wife down and would listen to and follow through on all her recommendations/ideas.  They did not let us down. They even credited us for some changed materials that we both agreed upon and passed along the savings to us. Not many builders will do this!

Ed or Keith, sometimes both, were always on the job-site to supervise the workers.  They were always available - Always on call for us.  They made sure the work was being done to our specifications and that the quality of the work was excellent. We followed Nu-Tec's advice and chose the subs he recommended for the stone countertops, the custom cabinets, and the tile setting. All their subs did quality work.

The entire Nu-Tec crew were very professional and easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and made useful suggestions throughout the process. We are extremely pleased with the results. Their quality of work was exceptional, their price for the work was extremely fair, and the job-site was always clean!

Having never built a home, my wife and I were certainly stressing since we had heard horror stories about builders not building to specification or not available after the completion of the home.  Not so with Nu-Tec!!!  From day one they made us feel comfortable.  After our first meeting we knew we had made the right choice in picking Nu-Tec to build our home.

Honest, professional, prompt, friendly, quality and flexible all describe Nu-Tec!

    Hakes Brothers
They have the best reputation here. I found them on the internet for a year and then I met with them to get my home built. They sell property and then build the homes. Sometimes they sell homes that are already built.

Jamie, the owner and participant in Regency Construction, came over to estimate the job the day after I called him. We settled on a price of $2400 which I thought was a mite high (until I saw what they had to actually do during construction). They started on the next Monday at my request and finished the next Friday. Besides building the wall itself, there was a vacuum tube to relocate into the new wall (and patch the existing wall) which had Jamie running all over town to find the parts needed. He also had to have the paint matched and purchased. His crew of two (including his Dad) were here every morning at 8 AM and each evening the work area was cleaned up, materials and tools put away and the floor swept. What a pleasure it was. The finished job including some fine carpentry was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more and I usually do- not this time.

    Denney Construction Inc.
Both Jerry and his son Jon were very responsive to the scheduling of the different phases of all the exterior work.  The work was scheduled over the month of November, so the holidays and such were coordinated with us and everything went wonderful.  The Sub-contractors employed for the separate phases were also top-notch and very responsive to our schedule.  Most important is Mr. Denny and his son were absolutely honest and up-front about everything. Just one more thing that I appreciate is Jon, the son has just been released from the Armed Forces and served this country for over 10 years. Thank you for your service Jon.

We foolishly hired D'Rubi to do some work because my wife was acquainted with one of the listed owners. What a horrible mistake. They were supposed to remove some trees and landscape the front of the house. They used a dull chainsaw and dug down deep to remove the trees. In the process, they broke my sprinkler system. When I informed one of the owners, she just laughed like it was no big deal. They were also to install 2 sliding glass doors. When the doors were installed, one of them that they installed opened the wrong way, so they just put it in upside down. I was stupid enough to accept it that way because of my wife,s relationship with the daughter. I even was fool enough to advance some $ to the owner for some materials. Supposedly, the windows were being fabricated in Mexico. When they were supposed to be installed, I was told that a couple windows were cracked and the order was sent back. To make a long story short, the windows were never delivered or installed. We always received excuses of health issues, supplier issues, etc. and finally stopped receiving any responses at all. I filled a complaint in small claims court for the $2500 I had advanced for the windows. I received a default judgement for the $2500 but have never seen a penny of it.

During all this time, I learned that D'Rubi had defrauded previous clients for thousands of dollars. Lawsuits had been filed and judgements awarded, but none of the clients ever recovered any money. The deputy sheriff who served my lawsuit, told me that D'Rubi had done shoddy work at his house but was unable to locate any of the owners until he served my lawsuit.

Subsequent attempts to contact or locate the owners were fruitless. I did see one of the owners at a football game and asked here when I was going to receive my money.. She replied that I should "talk to her lawyer".

I learned an expensive lesson in dealing with this company. It's owners are dishonest and have a history of doing shoddy work and defrauding customers. They think nothing of lying and stealing money.

    Scott Wagner Construction
We recently completed construction of our new home. Initially, Scott put us in contact with a very talented designer/draftsman and we developed a custom floor plan for our dream home. Throughout the process Scott provided suggestions and insights on how to improve the design. From that, Scott provided us a price and we began construction in late November 2013. Throughout the building process Scott was on site on a daily basis and eager to answer any and all of my questions. Unlike a previous contractor (on an earlier house), Scott encouraged me to visit the house site as often as I liked (generally daily) and introduced me to all of the subcontractors. Scott has an excellent eye for detail and insisted that his subs do quality work. Most have worked with him for10-15 years. Two phrases that Scott used throughout construction when we asked for alterations were: "That's not a problem" or "We can do that". Throughout the project Scott was very patient in waiting for us to make the innumerable decisions on everything from flooring to plumbing fixtures. From the beginning, Scott indicated that he wanted the construction of our dream home to be an enjoyable experience with as little stress as possible. It was! The last time that we hired a general contractor to build a house was over 30 years ago and I came away from the experience stressed out and swearing that I would never do it again. Not so with this house. If something ever happened to this house and we needed to rebuild I would definitely hire Scott for the project!

Tim and his crew are wonderful to work with.  All the work was of high quality and professional.  He would not begin until every part was ordered and delivered.  So there were never any days where the house was torn up but no work was being done.  Once he began, the crew worked steadily until the project was completed.  Either Tim or his manager were on the site daily.  The project was left clean every day.  He had creative ideas to add, but did just what I wanted done.  He also made sure I was satisfied with every detail before the project was finished.

Because Regency was doing a construction job in the immediate area, work started the next day. I don't think this could be considered normal however. They purchased and delivered all material per my instructions as to what I wanted. All material was of the highest quality- there was no sign of cost cutting. The company appears to be well funded and no and quot;up-frontand quot; money was asked for or given. There were several unforeseen trips to the paint store to get the color match exact. The work was performed in the most expeditious sequence so there was minimum or no time wasted. At the end of each day the workplace was cleaned up thoroughly and all tools and materials put away out of sight. There was never any discussion of additional costs. All in all a well planned and executed job- a pleasure.
