Setting up the move went well, John was friendly and helpful. The two workers that did the first truck load on Thursday, Sept 28th, were nice, respectful and careful with everything. The company did help us out when turned into it turned out to take 2 truck loads, so the same two guys, with one new guy came back on Friday, Sept. 29. We paid the movers both loads, right after they had finished each day. We gave the workers a tip, signed the last form and started unpacking. We were unpacking boxes as soon as we could, and many boxes were still in the garage. We started to notice that we were missing some items in the kitchen and when the stove in the new house stopped working, I started looking for my Coleman camping stove so that I could cook our food. I could not find it, and gave the movers the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was still under some boxes in the corner of the garage. By the end of October we knew that more things were missing, so we kept adding to the list. On November 9, 2017 I called the moving company and spoke to John and informed him that we had items missing. John told me to send him the list via email. So I sent John the email, with the missing items : Coleman camping stove, croquet set, bocce Ball set, Ladder toss game, Pogo stick, machete with sheath, margarita glasses, mixing bowls and a box of kids clothing. I also included a wall clock that arrived broken from the move, and included the measurements for the glass. I did get a call from the other owner Kash, but he mainly focused on the broken glass for the clock. He wanted the measurements again. He would then call and say, I have someone working on the glass, I have the glass, I will bring the glass by, we would schedule a time and he would not show up. The last conversation with him, was that he was bringing the glass by and drop it off. So as of today, he has not brought the glass over to our home. We are very disappointed that we have to deal with this incident, and that we have not received any information as to how we will get reimbursed for the items that are missing. The items were loaded into the moving truck in Edgewood, but did not arrive here at our new home. We will not recommend this company to anyone and would not use them again.

Our original request was to have trash removed while packing to move. Rick and his boys were terrific, despite my being frantic. It was evident at the end of the day that we had way more than we could put out for regular weekly pickup. I called Rick and he was able to squeeze in another quick stop the next day. They also transported our remaining items from ABQ to Edgewood and unloaded everything during a snowstorm. Excellent service from a local family business!

    TSI
Since TSI is a broker, I was fully aware that they are subcontracting the moving companies and cannot control every little thing.  That being said, I felt that every bump along the way was pretty much addressed.

The first shipment was a small shipment that I boxed and weighed myself and had to have waiting at the curb.  The driver was supposed to arrive between 12 and 5 pm (California Time) and when he/she never showed up, I had to leave a message for TSI in Pennsylvania.  But the next day they arranged for another driver who actually showed up before noon and didn't complain about having to get the boxes out of the house.  Delivery was early and foisted upon a neighbor as they driver didn't appear to have the correct phone number, even though it was on each box, but everything was there and undamaged.

The second shipment was a medium sized white glove shipment to Pennsylvania.  The driver called and wanted to come a couple days early according to the information I had (one day early according to his information) and he and his helper were courteous and professional.   Early was OK, because everything was ready to go.  They ended up counting one more box than I had counted, but I figured that was better than less.  They delivered early/on time and did a good job.  They did end up delivering an extra wardrobe box filled with trash, but all else was accounted for and undamaged.

The third shipment consisted of large furniture to New Mexico.  The driver and helper asked to come a couple hours early due to the extreme heat.  This team was the most professional and easy to work with.  At this point it has not yet been delivered, and they want to deliver it a week earlier than originally quoted, which is a little problematic as I will not yet be home to receive it, but we can deal with it.

Dealing with Philip at TSI has actually been very easy.  He is very professional, straightforward, and knows what he is doing.  I would definitely work with TSI again based on my experiences.

The Belen move went without a hitch.
They underestimated the size of the Edgewood move and had to make 2 trips, but they still finished on time and on budget.
We were very pleased with all aspects of the service.

Have used them three times now.  Very satisfied.  Very professional and courteous.  They were on time and worked hard all day.  Tina was very professional in her scheduling and follow-up, also.

I know this sounds corny, but this was about one of the best experiences I have ever had with a business that provided me a service. I found this company on Angies List and chose them because they seemed inexpensive and rated well. Three guys came, instead of the two that I was expecting, so that was good. I had planned on helping in order to get the job done faster and save money, but with three guys, that wan't necessary. They were much faster than I expected. Maybe it was because I told them I chose them based on their Angies List rating, or maybe it was because I tipped each of them $20 mid-way through the move, but they were very fast and very friendly. I wish I could remember their names so that I could mention them by name, but I'm bad with names. I don't think it matters anyways because it seems like the main office runs a tight ship and tries to fit in as many jobs in one day as possible, which works for me because I was afraid they were going to take a long time and charge me more money than they did. As quickly as they moved our stuff, they were more gentle with my belongings and my newly painted walls (we moved from the apartment into a home we purchased) than I am. The best part was we had a treadmill that my wife wanted moved into the bedroom, but it would not fit. I told them not to sweat it, but my wife had a bit of OCD and did not want the treadmill in our living room. Despite rules that probably prohibit them from doing this (I hope this doesn't get them into trouble, but their bosses should recognize that these guys are awesome and the reason their business is successful), but these guys decided to quickly take apart (partially) the treadmill and reassemble it on my spare room. Now, I know they did NOT have to do that, but they were bound and determined to make my wife happy and get that thing in there. God bless them for making my wife happy, because a happy wife is a happy life. Anyhow, I will never move my own things again. Having professional movers move your things is move of a self-indulging luxury than a day at the spa. I will eat beans for a month next time if that is what it takes to afford the $500 plus needed to pay for movers. And like the loyal customer I am, I'll call these same guys again.

We go online and place the order. We rent a trailer so we can move stuff. To rent a trailer for a day costs twenty dollars. It is very expensive to have something delivered so we usually rent a trailer for the day. It is always there. We have never had a problem with them. We use them a lot. We have used them so much. The expense has been good. The office staff are lovely and they are prompt.

After a nightmare of a move just 3 months before this move, I was very happy with Joe and his crew. It was so much better than could be expected, and I certainly appreciate their professionalism and thoughtfulness. Even though the total cost was higher than the estimate, it was because of unforeseen time, that could not have been predicted, and I considered it appropriate, and understood.

    Budget Movers of Albuquerque
It was a nightmare. My furniture was damaged, my personal items (such as bathroom supplies) were damaged due to broken bottles, leaking their contents in the boxes they were thrown into. Demands were made for payment at the end of the first day, even though the move was not completed. It has cost me more money to replace broken items, lease satellite boxes for telephone and televisions, and other household items. In attempting to get help from one of the owners, the cell phone was disconnected. The letters I wrote requesting insurance information for placing a claim were ignored and I never heard from either owner.

    BEKINS VAN LINES
Terrible. Van arrived a week late (we did receive promised compensation). Driver got stuck in driveway could not back truck up to house; goods had to be carried 100 feet. Goods had been moved from original van for the cross country run to another van. Most furniture was missing cover pads and items were piled directly on top of each other with no protection. Numerous foot prints on top of furniture. Lots of damage, nearly $8,000 on a very conservative estimate. Several items and several boxes were just entirely missing. Some damaged items were totally smashed to smithereens. Bekins only compensated for 1/2 of damages. Local rep, McKees, was of no help in appealing decision. It also took seven months to settle.
