    THE TOOL SHED
Good at getting me in in a timely manner, but once he looked at the mower on the jack, decided to wash his hands of the job and refer me on to a colleague/competitor. Very clean shop, polite and forthcoming with his advice.

    Araiza's Small Engine Service
Very well. Done on time with good communication and under budget. Even delivered the finished product to my home for a nominal fee.

    Frank's Power Sports & Equipment
They did a great job initially, (except for the fact that they forgot my mower guard and I had to go back for it) but I went back for mower parts and they had to order them, which took forever. The length of time wasn't their fault, but instead their supplier. The only thing they could have done to make it better would have been to actually keep in contact with me occasionally as I waited.

Push And Pedal Small Engine Repair
I took my 32 CC Weed Wacker in on 4/7/14 because it would run and stop. They indicated they had to adjust the carburetor and idle screw. I was called on 4/23/14 indicating it was ready. I went and picked it up on 4/24/14 and was charged a total of $13.43. I took it with me but did not try and use it until the PM. I could not get anything done because it was doing the same thing . They are closed on Fridays and the weekend, so I could not take it back until the following week. I took it in again on 4/28/14 and explained it was still not working right-same problem. They told me it might need parts and could cost up to 40 or 50 dollars if parts were needed. I seriously wanted it fixed, so I agreed for them to try again.  They called it was ready a few days later. I went and picked it up on 5/1/14. They indicated they took the carburetor apart, cleaned it out, and readjusted. My bill was less then expected at $34.40. I asked the owner if he guaranteed it was fixed -he indicated it was guaranteed. It is 5/1/14 a Thursday once again. I take it with me and its a Thursday PM 5/1/14, before I get a chance tor try again. same problem. Once again I cannot take it back until next week and now I don't know if it will ever be be repaired correctly. I believe I am buying a smaller 25 CC one that is on sale this weekend, just to try and do some cleanup. I so prefer my larger versatile 32 CC ( you can add attachments) but anyway I am quite frustrated, of course.  I don't know if I will have to dish out more money again- but I am concerned and I am not sure if they can even fix it at all. I learned there is a very reputable repair shop in a larger community 60 miles away and am in a quandary, as it maybe be all futile to allow them (Push and Pedal) to even try again.  I hope they will live up to their verbal promise of the guarantee, but the ticket they make you sign before they even start, says "we make no warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness with respect to such goods." I am not sure if this means tough luck!
