AAlarcon's Hazard Tree RemovalThis is the third time that Carlos and his brother have trimmed my tree. This time Carlos noticed 2 dead limbs and a top of a limb eat killed by insects. The they removed the dead limbs and the dead top section. I am thankful that they noticed and remove the dead limbs since they posed a dangerous situation! AH/L Services LandscapingWith how poorly some of my experiences with landscapers and other service providers have been since I owned my house I was hoping for good, but not expecting what I got. Mike White, the owner of H/L Services is a professional, in every sense of the word. Lets start off with getting in touch. The ad for the service on Angies List (AL) didn't state if he covered my area or not. As Los Lunas is pretty distant from Rio Rancho, I contacted AL to find out if he serviced my area. They said he did, but also gave me his name and number to call and confirm. Mike got back to me within 36 hours and confirmed he could service my area. Even better, he told me that he could do the work on the following Tuesday if I wanted as he would be in my area. I purchased the deal, scheduled the date on AL, and he responded promptly that he'd be there. He called 10 minutes before he was going to be there to let me know (my son showed him around and what we needed done), and was busy at work by the time I got home. Mike parked his vehicles out of the way so I could get into my driveway, and even had orange cones next to the back of his trailer so no one could miss it. I met Mike and his co-worker and they were both very friendly, open to discussion and general conversation, and were very professional the entire time. While trimming my tree he gave me some advice on how I could better take care of it, and also answered all of my questions. He didn't push any extra services on me, and was fantastic to work with. I asked for some information on what else they do and he provided me with a brochure and gave me some ideas on what he's done that were similar to what I'm looking for. ANarrow Leaf IncThe shrubs in the front of the house we recently bought were all way beyond their prime so we decided to rip them all out and plant new ones. All the plantings in the large back yard were also a complete mess, so we decided to start anew with them also. There was also a huge, ugly and useless concrete slab that had to go. And the perimeter wall in back was too low to provide any real security and privacy, so it had to be raised. Based on Angie's List recommendations we called Tom Brasby of Narrow Leaf Landscaping. He came right over and gave us a quote for the masonry work, and we agreed on time and materials for the tear out work. His crew of Carlos, Daniel and Adrian came over the next Monday and started work. And do I ever mean work ! They literally busted their backs for the new five and a half days and tore out everything ! Trees, stumps, shrubs, gravel, concrete slab, etc., and finished the wall extension including the finish stucco. I was truly amazed at how hard they worked and what they accomplished. They'll be back next week for phase two. Plant new shrubs out front and two big pine trees in back; prepare about 100 feet of beds and plant shrubs and vines in back, and completely redo the irrigation systems in front and back. I know they'll once again do a superb job. Tom and his crew have been a real pleasure to work with, and Tom's advice about what we should plant and when has been invaluable. I consider myself very fortunate to have found such a great outfit to make our outdoors beautiful and livable.- william c.

AAdvanced Tree Service LLCBrooks was one of many I called to get bids for tree removal. Because this property is out in the country I did not need or want to pay for complete tree "service"including chipping of the limbs and haul away. One of the professionals who gave the first bid actually told me that it was all or nothing on the bid,either they hauled it off and chipped the limbs or they left it all behind but it would be the same price either way. His bid was $1300.00 more than this bid. Several companies actually would not bid the job because the tree was so big and in between and over a cluster of buildings . Dealing with Brooks and his crew was easy and everything went well. When asked Brooks had a.copy of both his insurance and licence for me to see during the bid process. On the bid he provided the phone number to his insurance agent so I could call and confirm which I did. The guys he sent were careful and polite and did a good job. Brooks adjusted his work schedule to work me in so that the job would be completed prior to an existing commitment of mine and called to follow up on the job on the job after the work was done. ARiverside ArboristWe were very pleased with the work of Scott and his crew. They were very professional in all aspects of their job. Scott obviously knows what he is doing and does not "top" trees or randomly cut limbs. The trees look great. The crew of three arrived on the day of the appointment and worked steadily until they were finished. This included cleaning up the yard after the trimming was complete. The fee was very reasonalbe for the work which was done. We will definitely use Riverside again when we need tree work and will recommend them to our friends.- Marvin M.

Gave me a quote on the spot for removing the tree and we made an appointment to have the work done. Arrived on time to perform the work. Appropriate equipment for the job and the equipment was in good condition. Worked quickly, efficiently, unobtrusively and safely. Great cleanup of the site. Very polite and helpful throughout the process. Accommodating and flexible as I decided at the last minute to have the stump removed. I highly recommend Scott and his company for diagnosis of tree problems, discussions of treatment options and performance of the remediation treatments or tree removal.- Collin S.

AWonderful! Beyond our expectations! We hired Advanced American to take over a remodel in progress that had gone very wrong. The professional crew came in, demolished the work in progress and began anew, repairing and installing correctly and professionally. The final outcome is demonstrative of work well done with care and pride. Mr. Chrzanowski and his crew are very professional, fully communicative, friendly and polite. The workmen were always punctual, kept working throughout the day, took care to clean up and work magic with their craft.
