    Rybka, Dr. Sergio J.
Staff was friendly but doctor was very cold and indifferent. During the procedure he was very rough and ended up hurting my husband. It's been 2 months and he is still in pain, this procedure has a recovery frame of time of 2 weeks. He did not tell my husband what he should look out for or give him a list of out patient care. Unfortunately he's the only urologist in this town. Please take the extra expense and go out of town for a urologist.

    Southeast New Mexico Podiatry
Dr. Folsom preformed surgery to treat my plantar faciitis in May 2013. The surgery went well and all of the follow-up visits at the office have been great. He is thorough and has good bedside manner. Before surgery every step was painful and now I am able to walk almost 100% pain free. The office staff is friendly and they are always able to squeeze me in if I need to see the doctor when I don't have an appointment.

I had my first appointment on 08/23/2013 and a second followup appointment on 09/06/2013. I had broken one of the long bones along the outside of my foot. They took several x-rays of my foot and I was able to clearly see what was wrong. Dr. Brown was very thorough in his exams and in his explanations. He put me in a walking boot, which I have to wear for six weeks. On my followup visit, I could see from the x-rays that my foot is healing. The swelling is mostly gone and I have hardly any pain. I do have another followup visit in two more weeks. I would recommend Dr. Brown.

    Herbert Ojiaku MD
I do not feel that Dr. Ojaku was sensitive to my overall diagnosis. He has given me overall the care that I need but his bedside manner has something to be desired. Also the wait time for his office is unreal.

    Kim Lark DO

This is a wonderful medical office. Everyone here is polite, professional, and friendly, from the front office staff to the nurses and Dr. Lark.

I highly recommend Dr. Lark and the CNP's in this office. They are great medical providers and great people in general.

    Herbert Ojiaku MD
The staff were sweethearts. Wait time was better than other Dr.'s in town.
Dr. Ojiaku seemed knowledgeable enough, but did not readily listen to my medical history and current concerns on my first visit. He preferred to prescribe medication outright than send me to a specialist for a proper diagnosis. He was, however, quite considerate of me being a new female patient, and offered the names and phone numbers of female OB/GYNs in the area for relevant preventative care.
All in all, he was about what I expected to find in a small-town doctor. A word of advice, though - be prepared if you have difficulty with hearing. Dr. Ojiaku has a bit of an accent and at times I could not understand him.

    Mark Howard MD
He was very knowledgeable with rare disorders I have going on.  He took
the time to sit down with me after my examination to talk with me about
things that were going on with me and ordered further tests and x-rays.

When I fell seriously ill September 2011, I went to the ER twice in 3 days, getting worse by the minute. I was told to drink plenty of fluids and rest. I got an appointment with her two days later, and she took one look at me and sent me on my way to Lubbock Texas to see a infectious decease specialist. The very same day I ended up being airlifted to the Mayo Clinic in Scotsdale, where I spent a week. If I hadn't made it to the hospital when I did, I would not have been here. Carlsbad Medical Center almost killed me.

    Rybka, Dr. Sergio J.
During the procedure he used a needle and syringe and stuck me, inside my p**** about an inch down and about 1 inch deep. The pain was quite painful and seemed archaic to me. I looked at the scope he was going to use on me and I said you are going to need a kids camera cause that will not fit through the scar tissue. It seems every guy says that so he didn't pay attention.

He said it will fit just fine. After ten minutes of horrible pain and bleeding he told me "it would not work there is too much damage. We will have to map it and take out the scar tissue."

I told him he should have listened to me in the first place and we wouldn't have had to go through this. On his way out the door he said "I record everything and you never told me a thing." then he slammed the door.

The name Sergio Rybka is from Russian/Czech, and so is his accent. The school he went to in Argentina was barely enough to get him through the US medical exam. For Carlsbad residents I suggest going to Roswell (which I did) or Lubbock for newer treatments
and top of the line Urologists, you do not have to put up with doctors like this.
