    Enchanted Solar
We couldn't be happier.  Professional, punctual, thorough, responsive.
Was helpful throughout the process, answered our zillion questions, we followed up with our own research and found that his information was factual.  We received four bids, and also had other companies recommended by friends, but are very happy that we chose Enchanted Solar.  Thank you, John.

    Enchanted Solar
I had 7 solar installers come to give estimates. John Bodnar not only had the best prices, but his 25 year warranty on parts, labor and panels beat all the other companies. He was also the most knowledgable installer I talked to. He explained that PMN rated the system based on the ratings of the micro inverters, not the panels. Because panels almost never operate at 100% efficiency, by pairing a 290 watt panel with a 215 watt inverter (225 watt max output) his systems produce about 25% more power than similarly rated systems by other providers. He also understands the laws associated with solar. I had to remove 2 trees that would have blocked my panels. He explained that the cost of the tree removal was part of installing solar and therefore eligible for the tax credits. My friend needed a new roof to install solar and received 40% tax credits for his new roof. My system has been running for over a year and I couldn't be happier.

    Lowes TurnAround Home Services, LLC
Lowes Turn Around Home Services, LLC I have used them a couple times. It went really well. When the set an appointment they were there. They were there on time and they did the work that was asked of them to do. It was reasonably priced and it's good to have somebody working on my rent house in a town there I am not that can trust.

    Five Star Electric
I called on Wednesday mid-morning to ask about the ceiling fan special price.  When we started talking I mentioned that I also needed three regular electrical plugs from the kitchen converted into the GFCI plugs and to replace the bathroom exhaust fan in addition to replace a ceiling fan.
The gentleman, I believe he might have been the owner, so sorry, lost the card and can't remember the name, was able AND WILLING to move some things around so that he could meet me that same afternoon to take a look at what I needed done and to give me a correct estimate for the work I needed.  He was about 10 minutes early...shocked me! that is not usually the case... he took a look at what we needed, quoted us the price.  He had told us he would have to charge a $20.00 estimate fee because he was coming out of Albuquerque to give the estimate and that the $20.00 would be deducted from the final price we would be charged.
We were able to schedule his work for the next day while my husband was available since I wouldn't be.  If we would have wanted to wait, we would have had to wait for 2 weeks because he had already scheduled another job for the week.  Since I had a renter moving in, and I wanted to prepare for that ..."just in case..." factor, he came out on Thursday.
The owner brought one worker with him. he flew through what we needed him to do.  He told my husband that the "housing" of the old bathroom exhaust fan was larger than the new one.  He suggested just replacing the "guts" of the ceiling fan so there wouldn't be a fit issue and wouldn't cause more work and cost to have someone repair the empty space.  Before he left he asked my husband if we needed anything else done.  My husband called me to verify, and I had forgotten to ask that the outside electrical plug and light on the back be checked since it seemed to work intermittently.  The owner checked them, his assessment was that there were no electrical issues with those items (whew! saved me more $$$).  He suggested that I replace and reseal the fixtures to the wall.  He stated that he did see dirt in the fixtures and that when they get dust, it does make fixtures unreliable.
Before he left, he packed up our old ceiling fan in the box the new ceiling fan came in.  He also neatly corralled the replaced plugs and exhaust fan.  Both my husband and I were pleased with the service, professionalism, ability to take care of our needs on such short notice.  He also saved us money by letting us know that we could replace those outside fixtures when we were able instead of paying him to do it for us.

    Lee's Electric Motor Repair
As to the generator, I just told them to figure out what if anything was wrong. It took them a couple of days to get to it, but they found the generator and one regulator was OK, and the other regulator was bad. And then they didn't charge me which I thought was above and beyond normal. I had expected to pay them for their time.

As to the pool motor, they fixed it on the spot because I had already disassembled it and it took them only a few minutes because they had the part in stock. They charged me only $20. I was happy I didn't have to drop it off and then pick it up later thereby costing me two trips.

The work was performed at their place of business, they didn't come out to my house.

    MICHAEL JONES
This was a great experience.  Mr. Jones was very responsive, polite, and knowledgeable.  When I showed him what I needed done, even though I didn't know the words to use to tell him, i.e. replace this, that, and the other so that the toilet will not run, I told him what the problem was and he knew exactly what I needed done.  He double-checked items to be sure the item I needed, did indeed require repair.  Mr. Jones showed up when he said he would, he was very courteous, which is very refreshing.  I don't know if this sounds silly, but it was SO NICE to ask someone to do something, and it got done!!!

    PHC Systems
They remodeled my main bath half way which included the ceiling fan, a lavatory and a new sink. I am still planning on putting in a new type of fiberglass shower by taking the tub out. They also remodeled a second half bath with a new lavatory, a new toilet and a new ceiling fan. I have used them over and over again because I dont figure that I can get better than what the plumber is. I have probably paid them about $2000 or $3000 for the work done by them this year. In the last 3 years, I have probably employed them at least 6 times. I dont call anybody else and I only call them. I had a new cooler installed in my house this past spring in April and that project was about $1000. I like them because their price is right. I keep going back to them because the hassle of trying to get several different people and estimates is overwhelming. I like to stick with them because I know that they do a good job. They put in a new forced-air heating system for me about 2 or 3 years ago. It was about $2500 for that project. They are excellent and their price is good. Everything about them is excellent. PHC Systems is a small organization. Its a one man ownership with 2 or 3 workers. He is not overwhelmed with his staff. He is able to accomplish jobs with the small workforce that he has. The plumber in the way of plumbing, heating and cooling is a big part of keeping our home in a good shape.

    Lee's Electric Motor Repair
I brought a pool pump electric motor in that I'd already disassembled and diagnosed as having a broken part. I showed up with the motor, and somebody helped me with it right away, found the part, replaced it, and I was good to go. Friendly folks too and very helpful. Definitely rate an "A".

    M.S.R. Electric
The service call was an hour, to an hour an a half. Maybe two hours. He charges $60 for an hour, and was there two hours. I wasn't there, so I can safely say two hours.

Very bad, one person we talked to was rude and seem to be upset about the labor rate. After back and forth they never showed up!
