Plumber reviews in Albuquerque

    AB Plumbing Inc
Mike H. diagnosed our immediate concern as a failing hot water circulation pump, which they replaced. Mike was very knowledgeable and thorough, checking everything out, explaining what our options were, and answering all our questions. Mike & Rico also reseated a rocking toilet, flushed the hot water heater and opened a wall to inspect for the dreaded Kitec plumbing (which was not found, fortunately). They were prompt, worked efficiently and left everything clean when finished. While their prices may not be the lowest, we felt their expertise was worth what we paid. We definitely will call on A.B. Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

American Leak Detection of New Mexico
I had American Leak Detection do a helium test in January 2019 through my Rental House Management Company for a gas leak. When the plumbers came to fix the leak, they said the test was useless and then determined the correct cause of the leak along with fixing it. After this happened, one of the American Leak employees informed a manager of the "non-performance" so that this bill could be waived, but the manager not only insisted this bill be paid, but was going to impose late fees if it was not paid shortly after the conversation. I will never (nor does my management company plan to) use American Leak again - non-performance along with being expensive.

    Trussell's Transformations LLC
I am so happy with the job Trussell's Transformation did for me. It started with a very informative consultation with Danny Trussell's. I appreciated his advice and presentation of a number of things for me to consider. His quote was right in line with others I received but the reviews and reference I received tipped the scale in favor of this company. Once I contracted with them, he referred me to several vendors to choose my tile, mirrors, glass, fixtures, etc. All were informative and helpful in making my decisions. The work was estimated to be about 3 weeks and instead took about 6 weeks. The tile I chose was more complex to work with and it took time to get it perfect, which they did. Mike and David were both great to work with and I felt totally comfortable having these guys in my house daily, sometimes when I was not home. I am thrilled with the finished project and have received may compliments from others who have seen it. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to refer to anyone considering home projects.

    outwest construction
Thomas does really quality work, his pricing is reasonable, communication is topnotch and more importantly he is extremely trustworthy. We would surely recommend Outwest Construction, and we will certainly be reusing Thomas for future renovations.

    Professional Contracting
I was referred to PCB by a co worker and decided to get a quote for the total remodel of my two bathrooms. They provided me with multiple renderings to show me what the bathrooms would look like (I changed my mind a lot!). That really helped me see the project and what to expect the final outcome to be. Not only were they very professional but they were very patient with me and understanding of my budget. So, i decided to hire them for the job. We had the work start while we were out of the country and within that two weeks they were able to get the entire project within a few days of completion! I trusted their team to be home while I was gone. They were very courteous of my home and the mess the demolition made. I would highly recommend PCB for any project! I will definitely hire them in the future.

    TLC Plumbing and Utility
This was a horrible thing to happen to our house and lives, having to dig up the foundation of our house and replace over 7' of crushed or broken sewer line. TLC's bid came in the middle of all the estimates we received. They stayed true to the estimate, and kept coming back to make sure everything was done correctly. Thanks to Lawrence and his team for their repressiveness and professionalism.

Culligan Water Conditioning of Albuquerque NM
Job 1 - Company offered to do a free water checkup on our Culligan water softener and the first guy said we needed a re-bed. So I scheduled a re-bed job but the technician said our water was soft and he recommended we wait. So I sent him off. A few weeks later I got a bill for the technicians visit and I called to dispute the charge and they said theyd write it off. Next month I got another bill so I called and after some haggling got the manager to agree to write it off. Job 2 - I scheduled a quote at another property for a new water softener to be installed. I waited hours but the guy never showed and never called. I dont think Ill do business with this outfit in the future. Big disappointment.

American Leak Detection of New Mexico
Poorly. I recommend the Albuquerque Leak Detection service instead. Why? Because the American Leak Detection team never located the leak, despite it being so obvious that a competitor I hired for a second opinion, from Albuquerque Leak Detection found the leak in a few tens of minutes. Poorly also describes the nature of this interaction because what the American Leak Detection team didn't have confidence that they found the leak the first time and charged almost $400 to give me a best guess about where they might look next, requiring an additional fee. The additional fee was estimated at almost $2000 and would have required demolition of concrete flooring in my water heater / furnace closet of the garage so that a closer look could have been taken. Fortunately, I didn't accept this recommendation and I got a second opinion. The leak wasn't anywhere near the approximate region indicated by American Leak Detection. Instead, the leak was discovered by the Albuquerque Leak Detector 40 feet away, in the backyard. The leak was the result of a leaky valve off of a hose faucet. After locating the leak, I requested that American Leak Detection evaluate their work and consider giving me a refund. They consented, their manager was professional and came to inspect the situation in two additional visits. But that required two additional visits that accomplished nothing when it came to locating the leak, required many phone calls, and after almost a full month of time after the final visit, I received a partial refund, less than half of the charge for the ill-fated visit. Considering all the cost and time, it just wasn't worth it to deal with this company, despite some of the kind and nice people working there. I couldn't trust them to do the thing they advertise to do and it was up to me to stay on top of the situation, even though I was paying and this wasn't my area of expertise. When it comes to finding leaks, good work means almost everything and good intentions mean relatively little if the leak isn't found. Now, it is likely that this instance was one of the unfortunate cases where things just went wrong. However, because this is a pricey service - no matter who you select - and because of how quickly their competitor was able to demonstrate that they found the leak after American Leak Detection tried for hours, I recommend that you avoid this company and select an alternative. Try the Albuquerque Leak Detector, whose team is led by a chemical engineer who has a well-thought through method for detecting leaks. I found the pricing comparable and respect the Albuquerque Leak Detector team for their professionalism and competence.

    Lobo Sprinklers and Plumbing
Rob said he didn't see a problem, though I didn't know what I was talking about that the shower had flooded that morning and charged me over $100 for the privilege. He did not want to do the work I requested. He just wanted to charge me for a house call. Another plumber came the next day, snaked the drain pipes and all is good now - OH, and for less than I paid Rob. He might call quickly, but don't use Lobo Lawn and Plumbing.

    Micropure Water Conditioning
Every thing went very well. Mike was on time, pleasant, and certainly knew what he was doing and did it professionally. I couldn't have ask for a better outcome. The price was for both was better than the two other estimates I received.
