  • The Job went flawlessly. Mike and his nephew did an amazing job. They were neat and professional. We couldn't believe that we received a practically new kitchen in one and a half weeks. The new cabinets were custom made and the refaced ones look brand new. We would recommend them and hire them again.

  • Kevin remodeled our kitchen and did a fantastic job. Small details that we would have not even noticed he made sure were perfect. He was professional and performs quality work at a fair price. We will definitely be using him in the future!
    - Jenna F.
  • Mike did a great job with remodeling my bathroom. With it being the only bathroom in the house, he was very accommodating to make sure I had access to the toilet and shower as best as possible. I'll be using him for my kitchen remodel project.

  • I can't say enough about how well our kitchen remodel went. From start to finish the service was impeccable. Bob and Bill are very professional and they planned everything out so it was a very smooth process. They took great care to pay attention to every detail so it the outcome was perfect. They're amazing! Not any hesitation to contact them for the next project. Thanks guys, we couldn't be happier

  • These guys are awesome, the workers were so polite and really worried about how neat they kept my house. They made sure we had access to all of our basic living items, making the inconvenience of not having a full kitchen for several days so much easier.

Their craftsmanship was incredible, each one of the men knew exactly what had to be done and when. I was so worried about the inconvenience of a major project and by the time it was complete, it felt like we just did a little repair.

if given the Chance to use JAWS GROUP again, I wouldn't hesitate. I highly recommend that you do the same

  • The experience was positive overall. Brian was responsive and honest. He made sure his crew completed enough of the remodeling project in a week so that I could at least use the bathroom again (my home has just one bathroom so I had to move out temporarily). His crew took care to keep the mess confined to the bathroom which I appreciated. Brian also didn't complain about a last-minute change I made when I asked him to move up a light fixture by a few inches or when I abruptly decided to switch medicine cabinets when I realized the one I'd bought was too big. Brian's painter was very meticulous and careful to do a neat job in a small bathroom filled with lots of corners and tight spots. The completed bathroom looks good overall and has gotten compliments from visitors.
Normally I would give an "A", but I have to take some points off for the following:
First, the sink's drain started leaking not long after the job was finished. I have a service contract with a plumber who was due to come to do some annual maintenance on my home's plumbing, so I asked him to look at it and double-check everything else. My plumber told me that Brian's plumber took a shortcut with the sink's drain where he improperly connected the new PVC pipe to my home's existing copper drain lines. So I had to pay my plumber to correct this.
Second, Brian's crew did not properly align the shower valve with the cover plate. When the handle is in the "off" position, it doesn't line up with the "Off" engraved onto the plate. Yes, I know this is nitpicking to a certain extent, but you expect a pro to be paying attention and *not* make these kinds of mistakes. This is the kind of mistake I would've expected if I had attempted to do this project myself.
Third, I noticed the ceramic tile has sunk in a bit around the toilet's base. This means they probably should've allowed another day for the tile to set before putting the toilet back. I appreciate Brian trying to get my bathroom back in working order ASAP, but now the only way to fix this is to rip out the floor and start over again.
It's the little stuff that was overlooked, so just keep a close eye on things and ask questions if you use Brian's services.

  • I got suckered into it because Bovio did a great job replacing my sub pump and the pricing was fair.  I found out about this company on Angieslist.  Last year I got birds nesting in my bathroom fan ducking on the side of the house.   I called several companies and no one really had a service to address this issue.   Since Bovio is a plumbing company and I used them before..  I called them because if I needed a bathroom fan replaced or installed they would do it.   The woman on the phone was clueless on how to handle my request I needed the bird nest removed and a new bathroom fan vent installed(one that would keep the birds out) she told me it would be $96.00(90 something) for an estimate I was stuck needed it done no one else to do it so I said ok....    Mike Senski comes out takes a look at it and tells me he has to go back to the shop when he comes back he warns me that this will cost 285.00 plus tax again I am stuck so although its extremely  high I still said ok...   Mike ends up not being able to get the nest out and just replaces the fan vent and still charges the $285.00  so now I have a $300.00 white plastic bathroom fan vent that cost maybe $15....   and only a part of problem was fixed now I have to figure out a clever way to get this nest out...   and I am out of $300.00
The price of this service was unacceptable and when Mike realized he wasn't getting the nest out to still charge me $304.95 with tax for a 15min job replacing a vent cap makes me feel like I was taken advantage of...  and that's not good its like they didn't want to do it so they raised the price (price gouging)... clearly I expected to pay maybe $150 which again is high but is more reasonable ....   bottom line I was OVER CHARGED and this great company had no problem taken advantage of their customer... a customer that was very pleased with their previous job (replacing a sub pump)....
I have to say overall = F...  because the cost of the service over shadowed all the other good things they did... Mike did give me the option so I guess its my fault but be careful with this company they are not human they will take advantage of the little guy if given a chance...   Last year I gave this company a great review because I was very happy with their service and product and for the replacement of my sub pump I want to say I would use them again but for this kind of service (misc service) they are terrible...  unreasonable pricing for service and product supplied...   Will NOT recommend them for a misc. service like this...  I am sure Mike knew I was being over charged and I believe it was his opportunity to help the customer by pushing back on the cost especially when it was clear he wasn't getting the nest out... that would've been GREAT customer service...   instead they chose to take advantage of the little guy...  I said I would use them again for the sub pump work but honestly I may try Horizon or another company because of this experience... this experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I don't see using them again as a result... lesson learned...

  • The roof continued and still continues to leak where the repairs were made.  Although I knew it' was time for a new roof, I was assured their repair would at least temporarily resolve the problem.  It didn't....   In fact, I hired another company and would never trust Brain Emmons to do work in my house again. for the new shower...
I understand the work was done in May-June of 2013.  But this bathroom WAS NOT UTILIZED until July of 2014. I contracted  Brian Emmons Remodeling to rebuild a shower that was a closet..before that it was formerly a working shower.  Since my son was going to move back home within the next year or so, I decided to have the shower re-installed.  I provided the plumbing supplies, the tile & grout etc...  Everything he used was builder grade junk.
I should have been concerned when his electrical guy installed an extremely old light switch that was yellowed with age and had paint stains on it.  I flipped out and was told that it's the only switch the electrician had at the time.  I demanded that the switch be changed to a rocker switch to match the others in the bathroom.  Rather than subcontracting a tile installer, Brian Emmons had his plumber do the tile work.  BIG MISTAKE....!  NOTHING WAS water is seeping into the closet.  The drain cover came off within a week after using the shower.  I found that the drain cover was NEVER screwed down.  The drain cover was siliconed probably because they lacked and correct size.  Overall I found shoddy workmanship,  I was left to paint the ceiling and walls and also seal the tile.  The project took over three weeks to complete because they had other jobs they had to go to.  Honestly, it really wasn't until the shower began to be used did a discover they problems.  At first glance, I was so happy to finally get the project done.  Although the items that I supplied were to be deducted from the invoice, I paid Brian in full.  In hindsight, I must definitely would have had the company fix the problems plus deducted for the items that I supplied.  Would I hire them again...h*** no...!  Would I recommend them to someone else, absolutely not.  I wouldn't even want them back in my house to fix the issues they caused.  I would simply like to be paid back for the items I supplied.  I have contracted a true roofing company for a new roof and I've hired Avalon Carpet & Tile to rip out the shower Brian Emmons did and replace it with better workmanship.
I think the job was just too small for it the matter to him.

  • The job and communication with the owner were great. I have had contractors at my house doing work before and it always seemed like a difficult dragged out process. Always dreading the next phone call from the contractor. With SCS we never had that. The jobs went so smooth , like I said I had my roof done, then my bathroom, and planning my kitchen in the near future and I will definitely be calling these guys back. The prices they gave me were fair and reasonable and pretty much in line with what my actual budget was for the jobs. If you are looking for a contractor I highly recommend SCS.

  • I was very satisfied with the work and the workers were all very nice. They cleaned up each night before that left. They even put the toilet in temporary during construction so we would could use it in the evenings. Overall I was very satisfied and happy with my new bathroom and i am going to have them do more work for me soon.
