AMid Suffolk Cesspool ServiceWe just moved to New York and Long Island less than a month ago. We have never had a cesspool before and didn't know what to expect. A few days ago, we noticed brown water coming through a wall in our basement. Not knowing what to, we called a plumber. The plumber recommended this "Mom & Pop" company and thank God he did! Robin came out the next day and gave us the news. Turns out, we have 3 cesspools, one that was old and sealed up and the other 2 were not in bad shape (one looks like it's new but they were not emptied in many many many years). What was in bad shape was the pipes going to the pools (they were literally deteriorating) . Another problem was a pipe in the house was not "capped off" rather then "scrunched closed" so literally sewage was being spilled throughout insulation of the house. All this being said, we had no idea how much this would cost us. Robin replaced all the pipes, emptied pools and even removed the insulation and clean the walls. All of this for a very reasonable price. Robin is meticulous with his work. He assured us everything will be good as new. He and his co-worker completed the job in 1 1/2 days. With no knowledge of cesspools, someone could have easily taken advantage of us and I am so happy his company was recommended. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using him in the future when it comes time to empty the pools again. One thing we did learn, anyone that owns a cesspool, use Scott's toilet paper only. No Charmin or quilted Northern. Thank you Robin for excellent work and most importantly, peace of mind!- Kim B.

AMid Suffolk Cesspool ServiceThis company was recommended to me by a plumber that I know. They showed up on time, got right to work, spent the time answering my questions and making sure I understood the type of cesspool system I had and how to maintain it. They were able to find the cesspool within about 5 minutes, almost just by looking at the lawn. Pumped it, aerated it, applied chemicals. Great job, highly recommended!- Vincent R.

ATOM EGANS CESSPOOL SERVICETom's company was the second company called in to dig up our septic system to be inspected by the department of health. The first company made a mess of the inspection. From the first few shovels full of dirt, Tom was convinced the system would not pass inspection. While disappointed, it was clear that Tom knew what he was talking about. The septic system that had been installed many years back (by Priority Cesspool/Clear River - don't ever call them) was done terribly; it was undersized, missing a baffle, buried too deep, etc. Tom worked with our engineer to abandon the old system and install the new. He was there for every level of inspection, follow-up, answered every call with any questions and was responsive on every level. He has been polite and a pleasure to work with, as has been every member of his team. I very strongly recommend Tom and company.- Michael A.

FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.

AI can't say enough good things about Kyle Dutra and his crew. If you're looking to convert from a septic tank to the town sewer line or from well water to the town water line, this is the company that will do a fantastic job. Their communication is first rate (thank you Valoree!!) and their work ethic is very professional. This is what they do for a living so don't make the mistake of trying to find a plumber to do this work. Kyle patiently answered all our questions and was very quick to come up with a solution that eliminated our need for a grinder pump which saved us around $3,000. I highly recommend these guys. You'll thank me!
