AMata Paving and More LLCThis was a great experience. We've needed a new driveway for 30 years and when our stairs basically fell apart, we felt it was the right time. Carlos and Mata Paving had done some work for us in the past, so we felt comfortable using them again. I also spoke to some neighbors who had work done - and EVERYONE had nothing but great things to say about them. Carlos had GREAT ideas for the stairs, which were done first. They came out BEAUTIFUL, and greatly improve the look of our house from the street. The driveway work began after that, and they did a wonderful job. Their prices are reasonable, they came when promised, the workmanship was excellent. Couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate to use them for ANYTHING around our house. AGil's PavingAll I can say is GREAT JOB. I had the job done in 2019 and felt like I should wait to post a review as sometimes things go bad. Not here. Gil was so good and accommodating that 3 other neighbors hired him after looking at the job he did on my front yard. All 3 had their driveways done 1 other had some pavers put in. One of the best things about Gil was he gave me suggestions that were far better than what I was thinking and didn't add cost. His crew was courteous and professional and Gil was there every step of the way. If I ever need anything like that done again I will definitely hire along with my 3 neighbors (who are not on Angies List) so technically I'm writing 3 other reviews.- Joesph V.

ATri-County PavingWe went out for estimates and Mitch of Tri-County gave us very good advice on what best to do--whether we needed to repair or replace our asphalt driveway. ACrest Construction Group LLCCrest does great work from demo to finish. Bathrooms are always a challenge due to wood rot and requires framing repair and sometimes structual. They do the repairs, sheetrock, spackle and finish the job in a timely fashion. You never have to call and call. Once they start it gets done. They also install our kitchen floors, cabinets, doors and trim. Crest is my go to contractor for just about anything. Underground sewar and water is their specialty. I also want to point out what a great person Kenny is. He is always there for you, takes a personal interest in the job and looks out for cost.- Larry K.

AFrom the start, McFarlane Paving was honest, professional, very easy to work with! They certainly were not the cheapest quote we received, but during the process of choosing a company to completely redo our driveway, Peter McFarlane was honest about everything that needed to be done and why. He answered every question honestly and addressed issues with our driveway regarding drainage and the pitch of the front walkway. He takes his time with you and is very honest with his price knowing he might be a little higher in price than others but addresses all issues with each job one on one and carefully explains the entire process. His entire crew was professional showing up each day right on time putting in a full day, they were courteous and very hard working! The job was started as promised (they work one job at a time start to finish) and finished in exactly the time we were quoted. We love our new driveway and highly recommend McFarlane Paving!

AFantastic! My project needed professional skills with retaining wall repair and new drainage installation. I discussed my needs with a number of contractors and ultimately chose Valley Ridge. Why- Bill took the time to walk through what I was looking for, and reviewed the most effective options with me. I greatly appreciated Bill's candor. Valley Ridge did their due diligence, stopping by a number of times for measurements and to get a best match for old vs new stone. Project kicked off during covid quarantine, great communication on the timing through covid material shortage. The men showed up on time, and were very respectful of property and mindful of the kiddos running all over. They knocked out in a day what would have taken me (a seasoned DIYer) probably a month. I'm very satisfied with the work done, the value, and the time I got back. Thank you Valley Ridge!

FEverything went fine until I made the final payment (before the last bit of work was completed). Since then, I've waited an entire year for Fernando to come back and finish the job. It is still incomplete! And one issue is a safety hazard. My property has had a safety hazard for an entire year because I've been pushed back over and over and over again.
