  • Josh & his crew'were great. They packed EVERYTHING in my home and transported it with care. We are still unpacking but so far everything has been great!! Lovely team and I would highly recommend them!

  • It was terrible! Anyone considering a move should steer clear of Classic Relocation Network. They are nothing more than classic swindlers. For my move, the local moving team showed up, packed and loaded all of my belongings on to their truck and then charged me $1000 more than my fixed price, on-site-quote because they said there was additional packing material needed to pack everything up. During the move, many of my items were damaged and Classic Relocation Network refuses to pay for the damages even though they are documented with pictures and quotes for repair. After 6 months of going back and forth with Classic Relocation Network for the settlement of my claim they have not paid. In fact, I had to file a complaint against them with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). As of this writing, nothing is settled.

  • His team of 3 movers were excellent no nonsense-get the job done in a timely manner. Arrived in a large truck more than accommodating for my 1 bedroom apartment. The driver always stayed in contact with us on his whereabouts. They came, assessed the job and got started immediately wrapping up furniture and hauling boxes. Great guys! This was our first big move and although everyone told us to get a flat rate we were more than satisfied with Green City's hourly rate. They beat all other competition and honestly we couldn't be happier with the service provided. Upon the destination they placed all our furniture to our specification and unwrapped everything. Really really happy with Green City Movers and I would highly recommend them and would use their services again in the future. Summer time moving is tough but these guys were great and they worked HARD! I bought them water and kept offering them water. My husband and I have nothing but praise for them, they did an excellent job and were just all around good dudes!

  • Unfortunately the entire experience left a sour taste in our mouths. Maybe we were not a "big enough" job to be taken seriously? I feel like I was "talked into" doing all my own packing. Ok, fine. I do not mind packing up things in boxes as I have moved several times.. But then when the movers showed up, one had a horrible attitude from the very beginning and complained as soon as he walked in the door that everything was not in a box and immediately stated what he would not be moving for me. To include the TV. Maybe I misunderstood what was included in the move? That's possible and I fully admit that with all the stress I might have forgotten or remembered something incorrectly. But I have had moving companies in the past do much more for me without so much protest. So at 8:00 in the morning I was reduced to tears. I called my husband, who was overseas for business trip at the time, crying not sure what to do. He talked me down and I just resumed focus. Luckily, the crew wound up moving some of things not in boxes, but I still had to move part of the closet, which was supposed to be part of the packing and moving contract (or so I thought), myself because I guess certain items were not included. Gee, so much for packing and moving the closets for me. Had I known I totally would have paid more for better service. So there I was with my dog and already stressed out, dealing with cranky movers. Thank so much that the other two movers were so wonderful and a true pleasure. They were there to work and showed a good work ethic. Both were gracious and friendly and helpful. Maybe the Mr. Cranky-man was trying to work a good tip? Something tells me he was, because of all the "we're not supposed to do this" attitude he kept sharing with me. I was rushed through the walk through before leaving. THEN, after unpacking everything I realized they left things at my other apartment, including my dog's food. And little things, like my husband set aside the shredder and I forgot about it. Well, I guess the shredder had paper in it, so one of the movers emptied it because they can't move something with shredded paper. Fine. NOW we can't find the power cord anywhere for this very expensive shredder. And we can't find one to buy as a replacement. So we not have to buy a new shredder because of the poor service we received from the movers? Maybe I misunderstood a few things, but making me so stressed and upset on moving day was uncalled for. I still gave them a good tip, which HOPEFULLY "Mr. Cranky" shared with the two guys because they deserved it much more than he did. But I never got a chance to give the $ directly to them because he set it up that I would give him all the money. It was not until my parents showed up to help that I finally felt comfortable with these guys. So disappointed that I trust in good service and then in the end receive treatment like this. Oh, and by the way, to request CASH or Money Order for final payment is a bit much, no? Again, maybe this job was considered too small to be taken seriously. From our experience I would not recommend this company. The whole experience still upsets me thinking about it one week later. Sorry, but I can't leave a positive review in good conscience.

  • Very bad experience, bordering on disaster
    - Mike the estimator was good when he came and very responsive afterwards when confirming dates/time on phone or text, but could never reach him on the day of the move when movers didn't show.
    - Movers were late by ~3.5 hours, without notification or informing us of the delay. No one picked up the phone or responded to texts for hours. Building moving into had a deadline, so lots of stress
    - Sent 4 people instead of the agreed to 3, and charged extra for the fourth person
    - Were told that they were not supposed to pack anything. Didn't bring any packing supplies. One mover in particular was unprofessional, and made snide / aggressive comments when we asked them to pack implying that we were lying and that we better help or we won't meet the deadline to move out. Asked me to go and buy packing supplies from home depot. Eventually, we had to pack while they moved, to meet the deadline
    - Haphazard and incomplete wrapping of furniture with plastic, with damage to 1 sofa
    - At destination, no response to drizzling/light rain, resulting in some furniture getting wet
    - 1 mover tried to use non-moving reserved elevator and got into argument with other residents
    - Left significant stuff at apartment due to rush, that we had to then go back and get ourselves
    - Not all individual movers were bad - some worked fast and hard, and their lead tried to help, but blame goes to Mike, and the company for lack of communication, organization, responsiveness, professionalism, and for making the move the most stressful move ever (and we have moved several times in last 10 years)
Shared above with Mike the estimator, who said he would check, but no response afterwards for weeks.
Seems like they have decent reviews, but avoid being the one that gets screwed.

  • , The issues started with the initial phone call to schedule an appointment. The receptionist does not speak English fluently; that being said I don't hold that against anyone. I have many friends and co-workers with a similar level of fluency. My issue was that there was no "Hello this is Ponzo Moving". Heck I don't even need a chipper response.  I just need some idea that I didn't dial a wrong number. Instead I got "Hello" That's it, no follow up.  Again not a deal-breaker just disorienting.  After I can establish that I have the correct number and they are a moving company we then work through the moving requirements. Everything seems to go well after that.  We have a good call regarding issues with the move, pricing,  schedule, and timing.  At the crucial part regarding timing and schedule I have the receptionist repeat what she has written down to ensure we are all on the same page.  We end the call on a good note.
The day  and time of the move, which I had them validate on the phone, no one arrive onsite.  After about 15 min of no notification I phone the number.  Again we have the same answering issue as meantioned before.  However this time I had to remind her of our original appointment which seems to jog her memory.  She did end up remembering the fact I was the women with only a couple things to move. She then went on to say that the guys were on a move still.  They would be out all morning and she had no idea when they would be done.   I respectively reminded her we has an appointment for 10am and that I took of work off for this appointment.   I asked her to call her people and then to call me back with the time they would at my place. At no point am I disrespectful but I am firm with my requests for information at this point in the transaction.  I  then allow for 30 min before calling again.  Now to be reasonable I know it can take some time to get a response from someone out in the field.  However since I am just sitting in an empty apartment waiting for a phone call I rush my call back a bit.  Unfortunately she doesn't have an update for me. At that point she says that she will call me this afternoon when she thinks they will be over to my place.  Afternoon has come and gone; and she will not take my call at this point.  I have only called 4 times soI have not been hounding her to a point that would facilitate not taking my phone calls.  I have now contracted with another mover to do this job as they seem unable to do so.
Now I understand that a tiny job isn't super profitable and that they would have to fit me in.  This is the reason I was upfront about me being flexible with timing. I had them tell me what  works for them in regards to schedule, they then agreed to the time and day.  Also I know a 4 story walkup with no elevator sucks. Trust me I lived there and moved everything in and out by myself.  I just can't move a fridge by myself.  If you don't want to do the job because a better paying one came up at least have the courtesy to call and let me know.  Also if you need more money to move the fridge, then just tell me. I would have understood all of those completely valid responses to the situation.  I'm not an idiot or unreasonable. Unfortunately none of these occurred they just wasted my time and resources. So here I am having to scramble, take more time off, and pay more because it's late minute. As a result I'm here to ensure that the when a potential customer Googles them,  they have a review that gives an idea of what is in store for them.

  • The entire move couldn't have gone any better or any more smoothly.  These guys are real pros, and extremely nice as well.  They arrived both days at exactly the time they'd promised, and also got to my new home literally 20 minutes after I'd arrived.
They worked quickly, but at the same time were very thorough.  All of my items were packed carefully, and (while I still have a couple of boxes to open), everything was in perfect condition when I unpacked it.  They also re-assembled a couple of bookcases, a vanity with an enormous mirror, and all of the lamps, and reattached all of the hardware on the dresser drawers.  Unbelievably, the whole move-in was completed within about 3 hours, and it was very much appreciated that they took a good deal of the packing materials with them when they left.
Moving is stressful by nature; but as I told Jimmy, this was as stress-free a move as I could possibly imagine.  I would absolutely hire this company again for future moves, and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.  You will be in good hands with Jimmy and his crew!

  • I initiated contact through Angie's List with a reference from a friend who had used them and was satisfied.  George set up a time to come to our apartment within a couple of days to give us a quote.  He was very thorough and matter-of-fact, explained what every cost would be and what they would do.  The quote of $1090, although a lot of money and gave me a momentary intake of breath, certainly seemed fair, especially after we had received some ridiculous ones from companies who didn't even bother to come survey our stuff.  Plus George had dealt with all the red tape and rules and regulations with the high rise we were leaving and definitely gave us a sense of security and well being with that.  A big plus!
We opted to pack and unpack ourselves to save some money.  We were "mostly" done when they arrived exactly on time in the morning the day of the move - there were 4 movers.  They were impressively quick and impressively patient with us.  They were careful with our stuff and got us moved out and moved in within a little less time than expected.  So we were charged $124 less than the quote!  I had decided last minute to get a certified check for $1,000.00 so I just wound up putting the difference of $34 toward their tip, plus gave them a cash tip as we originally planned on top of that.
They really made an intimidating move way easier and we are definitely thankful.  Next move (which we hope is not for a loooong time because let's face it, a move is STILL incredibly stressful!) we will be calling them again.
    Thank you George and team!

  • It went well. It was really good. They were really efficient. They delivered what they actually promised. They came on time. The guys were working to get everything done on time and to the location. They did great for me. The price was what I expected so it was good. I had no complaints.

  • well i probably blame myself for not having a  conversation about an exact time
i needed the movers to arrive, because of that the doorbell rang at 8:15 AM to my surprise!
But honestly that is the only negative thing i can say about this moving process.
this was the best expierence i have ever had during a move.
the guys were great fast respectful and never said no to any surprises thrown their way.
and on the other end in West Orange the greatness continued.
You hear story after story about crazy and terrible moves all across the city
you would be insane not to use Man with a Van
