It went great.  My husband got the number of the company and left a message about the problem.  The Technician called back promptly and was at our house within a little more than an hour.  He introduced himself (Adam V. ? )  and was very professional and friendly.  He listened to our description of the problem and went to work.  Since our heating system hasn't had routine maintenance in awhile, we...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We have been having trouble with our heating system coming on when the temperature on the thermostat triggers it ti do so.  It was very sporadic -- sometimes it came on and sometimes it didn't.  Finally, with the recent extreme drop in the weather temperature, we needed to deal with it.  We were dismayed because we made this decision on a holiday weekend (Saturday) and thought that we'd either not be able to get someone to come out or we would pay a premium.  But we had no choice.  We turned to a plumber that we had originally found on Angie's List, but he told us that he doesn't do heating systems.  He recommended A Mar as a company that he has used numerous times.  A Technician came out  - quickly diagnosed the problem.  He cleaned the flame sensor and burners.  Waited to make sure the the heating system cycled several times appropriately.
