  • The tech was on time, friendly and informative. He reviewed my situation and had the heat up and running to my satisfaction. Everything was fine except he charged me for and emergency service. It was NOT an emergency situation as the house was winterized and I just needed the heat turned on for when I moved in in a few days. UPDATE: They did refund me and I was satisfied with the outcome. I will use them, again.

  • Dave was prompt and detailed in his work. I had asked him to please conceal as much piping behind the walls for a neat and clean look. He was very conscientious with his work and made sure he did his best to meet my requests. He cleaned up as he worked, didn't leave a mess behind and spent the extra time explaining to me the options for the job and how these options would affect the overall costs.  I was able to make the best choices that suited my budget, and Dave did an outstanding job. We had one minor issue, which when I called him, he remedied it right away.  I am new to the area, and am glad Angies List was a great resource for me to find Dave, I will be using him for future work.

  • I called to schedule an appointment and because I had to turn off the water they made an appointment for the next day which was a relief. The job turned out to be tricky due to the existing plumbing but they installed a new shower valve which functions and looks great.  Took the time to explain what they were doing and why. They even answered other questions regarding my plumbing and gave me some ideas about how to make things more energy efficient in the future. They were friendly and had great knowledge of the subject matter.

    In and out in two hours. He had all the parts and supplies ready to go. We had no heat, was an emergency. He showed up a few hours after we made the call. Very prompt and professional.

  • Jim came to my house within 20 minutes of my call and quickly assessed the cause of the problem to be the thermocouple in my furnace.  He quickly replaced the thermocouple with one that he had in stock and got my heat back on.  It was only 1.5 hours from my initial call at 7:30pm to the time that my heat was back at 9pm.  Compared to calling PSE&G or another repair service, Jim is fast and very reasonably priced.  
    I absolutely plan to use Jim again for my future heating and plumbing needs.

  • I was confused by their actions since their area code matched mine so I thought they were close by.  I have called them back a second time just so I could make this review fair.  They said they have lots of phone numbers and may have taking over a business....What doe that mean?  When I called them at the number above they also identified themselves by a different company name.  At this time I still don't  understand who they are or if they are located in the town or phone number that is listed above and on the internet.

  • Excellent.  I was amazed!  I am an Engineer and do-it-yourself kinda home Owner.  The young guy was sharp! Since he knew I had tried some things, he listened.  Then he asked me a few questions like if the attic blower was working and I told him it was and that the coils (evaporator, as he taught me) seemed clean.  Then he went directly to the outside unit did a few tests and bang ---bad electrical Capacitor.  He replaced it and now its fixed.  
    I called this in a 1pm and they promised to be there between 3 and 6pm.  He arrived at 3:48pm according to my cell phone record.  I paid $250 for the diagnosis and repair which seems very fair based on the the rapid response time.  It 5:30pm now and the A/C is working!  A+.

  • I needed service and I called, it said due to a family emergency they have suspended service and do not leave a message on this machine. It was terribly irresponsible, to not contact clients in anyway to say they are suspending services.
