It was the worst move out of 4 moves that I have made in the last 35 years. They ruined a queen box spring trying to force it down a set of steps in the house. One of the movers took a saw to the frame to try to get it to bend so he could get it down the steps. He ruined a 3 month old queen size box spring along with the frame. He also damaged the ceiling and stair railing going down the steps. All the boxes were marked as to what would go into the house and what would go into storage.A love seat setee in the house that should have been put into storage. They subsequently left at least 15 boxes in the house that should have been in the storage unit. One of the movers actually asked me to drive across the highway to get cigarettes for him. My mistake for being a nice guy because when I came back they were so quickly done and ready to close the storage unit so they could get to the house. My wife and I both had medical issues. I was two weeks out of knee surgery. After they left and we started to take an accounting of what was in the house we discovered all the things that should have been in storage. I called and spoke to someone at the office that night about 7 pm and they said they would relay the message to the appropriate people. I had paid them over 900 dollars and tipped the three movers quite well. Four days later no one called. At that point I put a stop on the check figuring that would get someones attention. One week after stopping the check which was almost two weeks after the move did I receive a response. They offered to take the items to the storage but after not hearing anything for the first week, my wife and I had to move the items ourselves. My wife with a heart condition and I ending up damaging everything that was repaired in my surgery to my knee. I would not ever let them come to my house and never give their name to anyone. They have very nicely been calling to offer help which is way to late and would like to come to an agreement about what they think I should pay. After speaking to my lawyer we are determining how much they should pay us for pain and suffering and the damage they have caused to my surgically repaired knee because I damaged it carrying things over that they should have done.

It went beautifully. Victor Negron, the owner of Rush Hour Moving, accompanied his three man crew. He had told me they would between 8 and 9 a.m. and he was right on time, coming about 8:20 a.m. With almost no waste of time, they began carrying out the furniture and wrapping everything up. In two hours they were ready to move and in about 4 hours everything was done. Furniture was carried into the new house carefully--damaging neither the furniture nor the walls. They put down pads so they wouldn't scruff the hard wood floor of my new home. All in all, a smooth and carefully conducted move! I have only one comment to add. I would like to give Rush Hour Moving an A+ for professionalism, efficiency and fair pricing.

Two major issues I had with them. For one, when the movers came they told me that there was a 20% charge for the top that was not optional. Since when is top non-optional. Instead of arguing, I paid the tip. Also, a few weeks after the move, the leg from my daughters bed broke. When I went to fix it, I noticed that the leg had been previously broken and was essentially taped together. So the bed was broke from the move, I was never informed and it was poorly fixed.

Everything went well in the setup of the move but once the movers arrived, the situation deteriorated. It soon became clear that my move really required about 5 guys instead of 3 and the fact that my condo was located on the 3rd and 4th floors just added to the stress. I had contracted for 3.5 hours and even agreed to extend the time for another hour for additional cost to try to get all my items moved. Unfortunately, a lot of my items could not be moved in the paid agreed time and I have had to spend considerable time moving the rest of the items. My advice to anyone hiring this moving company is to make sure you thoroughly explain what you need to have moved and make sure you get enough guys to do the job. I realize that while I filled out the form on the website and explained over the phone what needed to be moved, somehow, there was still a misunderstanding. Two of the three guys were pleasant and had a good attitude but overall, I found the situation extremely stressful as there was some negativity. It was terribly hot on the day of the move so I understand how difficult it was yet having to continue to move after hiring someone to move your items is disappointing. Be proactive and take care to make sure you communicate effectively with this company to avoid additional expenses and stress.

Arthur is a great guy, I love Arthur. Their very nice, very organized. You can tell their real experienced. They knew what they were doing and did it well. Arthur is very professional, but I didn't notice until later, that they broke a kitchen table of mine and they realized they broke it, but they didn't say anything to me. So that was upsetting but I didn't recognize it so I didn't say anything to Arthur or he would've done something about it. I didn't think it was worth enough for me to say anything and I didn't want to give Arthur a headache cause he's so nice. I think if Arthur was there that would have been a good thing, But one of the other guys broke something and didn't say anything. I don't know if it was a guy they just brought on. Other than that it was a great job. Arthur is very good, he knows his business and does it well and he makes the process easy and no headaches. I would definitely feel comfortable using him again.

The movers were friendly and did a very professional job. They moved large pieces of furniture out of a narrow space without any damage to my home or the furniture. They then proceeded to to move and help us set up the furniture in the apartment. They did an excellent job and went out their way to help us.

If we could give Riley's "A+'s", we would; as it is, we are forced to simply give them all "A's". Seven men showed up on time to pack and load our belongings. They all worked diligently, carefully, and efficiently. To a man, their attitude was professional and courteous, yet friendly; we felt like they were there to help us, not just do a job. When they were finished loading, each man made a point to speak to both my wife and I to wish us well in our new home.
Two of the men made the 1,500 mile trip to South Dakota and unloaded our belongings in the agreed upon window.  They arrived at 10:00 pm and parked on the road just down from our driveway; they were ready to unload at 8:00 the next morning. Unfortunately, we had just had a snowstorm and their truck became stuck in the snow on the unplowed dirt road that runs in front of our house; by the time the truck was freed and ready to unload, it was 2:00 pm.  Because of the weather conditions, they were unable to pull into our long driveway; the two men were forced to unload onto our small horse trailer and drive our pickup truck down to our home where they had to unload again.  By the time they were done moving our belongings in this piecemeal fashion, it was midnight and the two men were obviously exhausted.  However, to the end, they were careful with our belongings and friendly and courteous to my wife and I, and even to our two dogs.
This is the first time we have undertaken a long distance move, and we feel from the owner's initial estimate to the front office staff to the movers themselves, the experience exceeded all our expectations!

My sister and I did all the packing and moving of everything but the large furniture that we couldn't handle.  Our quote was for two men and a truck @ $250.00 for the 1st 2 hours, $50.00 each half hour after that, scheduled for 8:00 a.m.  They arrived about 15 minutes early, with one extra man for $45.00, took stock of the situation and had us sign off on the paperwork @ 8:03 a.m.  and got right to work.   They taped up all the furniture and prepared for the move.  They dropped off the dresser in Blackwood, unloaded everything in Voorhees and were done at 10 a.m..  We figured we would have had to pay an extra $50.00, if the the third guy wasn't with them, so we made out in the end.
They were amazing!   We couldn't be happier with our move.  EVERYTHING arrived in perfect condition.  We are so happy with our choice.  And an as an aside, they were so sweet and kind to my 87 year old mother.  Moving can be so traumatic, but Payless made it so easy on all of us.

Things went well. They show up on time and did a good job unpacking. They moved me from the old house to storage, storage to the new house. I gave them a B because the estimated price was lower than what I actually paid. The storage lady even complimented to me on their professional behavior while at the storage place.

They were awesome.  From Carol in the office to the movers on the date of the move, everything was perfect.  I would highly recommend and would totally use them again.  They got to my apartment early and moved everything very quickly.  The estimate was reasonable and the final cost was dead on.  I was 30 minutes longer than expected but not due to the movers.  Steedle was incredible and could not have a better experience.
