    ALBO APPLIANCES
In sequence, all the appliances broke. That's kinda how it goes if you think about it though because you buy them all pretty much at the same time. First it was the dryer, then it was the stove, then it was the refrigerator. We bought the cheapest dryer because they last like three years, so why pay a lot of money. I would give them an A overall. They're great. For price an A. They're competitive; they have to be because they're small. They've gotta compete with one of those big box places. I think I started using them because at one time I lived down the street from their store, so it was easy to just walk in there and take a look. The other thing is, they take away the old one and that's a huge thing. We're senior citizens now. You know, carrying that stuff out to the street is no easy task. They take them away and they rehab them and help people with them. We're retired social workers, so we used to get furniture from them to help people that didn't have refrigerators or whatever. They have a bit of a social conscience, you might say. There's nothing they can improve on that I can think of, honestly. Nowadays, you can look on the internet and see which model you want so you don't have to go through the whole thing like you used to, looking in books and all that stuff. You can go in there with a pretty good idea of what's available and what you'd like. They can get you anything you want. Usually it's just a matter of a couple of days to receive the appliances.

    ALBO APPLIANCES
We started in December with the dryer and then in sequence they all broke. That's kinda how it goes if you think about it though because you buy them all pretty much at the same time. The dryer was in December, and the refrigerator I think was in January. The stove and refrigerator were I think in April or May. We actually had a stove that had continually - apparently was emitting carbon monoxide. The fire department came a couple of times because our alarm went off, so it was like you know what, this is not worth keeping this thing. Fortunately, we had a sensor. The fireman said well open the window every time you turn on the oven. I was like, really? Do you think I'm gonna remember to do that in February, really? It's a family owned place. I've been buying appliances there since I was in a position to need appliances. After the second carbon monoxide indicator light went off on the stove, I was like well, that was it for the stove. So then we just got the refrigerator so that they would all match. The stove is a convection so it's got all these fancy bells and whistles that nobody ever uses. I do a lot of cooking but I don't need all that. And the microwave definitely had died. Their price was competitive; we checked. Give them all A's for everything because we have no complaints. The warranty people, they called them right away when we had a problem with a piece of the refrigerator breaking and they came right out and fixed it. I would say that you don't have to purchase the warranty, but if you do, you get good service. Something's bound to break, you know? The same guys have been there for a long time and like I said, it's a family business so they're invested in making sure they give good service.

    HomePlex Furniture
Rude and accusatory. Was trying to get a furniture issue worked out (the item did not meet requirements), ended up saying no matter if the issue was resolved or not, I would give a bad rating. After hearing that, I am happily giving this place a 1 star review.

    MIKE'S FURNITURE
We feel so lucky to have found Mike's.  He is generous with his expertise and sharing of other professionals who can service his client's other needs.  Working with only one assistant, sure, sometimes Mike is hard to reach; however, he always comes through,  and his work is beautifully executed.  Take a walk through his workroom to observe the results.

    Frank Hille Upholstery, LLC
I have six oak barrel shaped kitchen chairs with armrests, on casters.  We like the chairs but the material on them was getting "tired."  My husband & I had chosen Kravet material at another location, but I wanted to have Hille's price the job as well.   Their material cost was a couple hundred dollars less, good because the chairs were barrel-style and the backs were upholstered as well, requiring almost 2 yards of material per chair.
(We had them do other work for us in the past; the work was always done well.)
They came and picked up the chairs and measured the window.  A couple of weeks later, my kitchen looked new.
    Sherry was very responsive.
They have tons of the same fabric sample books decorators and furniture stores use.

    LOWE'S
The kitchen came out great.  I think the pricing was a little high than others.  I went with them because I know what they are.  I am more comfortable and if I have a problem I go with Lowes and I get it fixed.  The process and everything like getting quotes and picking up the product was fast but the job took a lot of time.  The job started in October but is still not finished.  The job to me should have been done by now but I am okay with it.  They just painted today.  The cabinets were new and nothing much happened till counter tops were in and once it was in the things started to roll.  They used one contractor and the people they use they have a lot of jobs to be done that’s why they were stuck.  They have done everything we have asked.
