  • Everything ran very smooth. Once he determined the problem, he had the parts on the truck and proceeded to make the repair. Dana was very friendly explaining what he had done. Tested the unit, making sure everything was working properly. I only have good things to say about Laury and all their techs.

  • I am not a customer but the neighbor of the customer. 11/22/2017, the subcontractor Ashley contracted, C&H Disposal of Elmer NJ, pulled a dumpster from neighbor's yard & drove on my yard, leaving ruts where the tires were & damaging the enclosure for the water & gas (the water company fixed). C&H Disposal's driver left without informing me & I found it the next day as I got home from work after dark. Ashley said C&H Disposal took full responsibility for the damage & I would have to deal with them. I called C&H Disposal about the ruts & a month later after many false promises & a bunch of resistance, C&H Disposal showed up unannounced & filled in the ruts. Just topsoil; no seed, fertilizer, or an erosion preventer. The sidewalk damage makes this muddy. Winter & the downpour 4/16 showed that damage was done to the curb & sidewalk where C&H Disposal's truck drove onto my yard. The water pools on the sidewalk where the truck did the damage & causes muddy grass & possibly ice in the winter. I called C&H Disposal about the issue 4/13 (left message) & 4/17 & followed up both times by calling Ashley. I was told 4/17 by C&H Disposal they would not repair the damage because I waited 5 months (actually 4 months) to contact them (they were mostly unresponsive to get the ruts filled in). I didn't tell them the extensive damage because the damage didn't become apparent until months later due to the weather. They also questioned how they know their truck did the damage. If they initially responded & sent someone to inspect the damage, they would have seen the damage their driver incurred. They did more damage than initially observed & now refuse to repair the damage they caused. I followed up with Ashley & they agreed that since it had been 5 months (actually 4 months) since the damage occurred, they agreed with C&H Disposal & would not repair the damage to my sidewalk. Contractors like this give honest contractors a bad name.

  • The entire process took less than three weeks, with one visit to quote and one visit to perform the work. Price was good – slightly less than Sears – and it was a very friendly, no-pressure process.

  • They were professional and on time. They opened the top of toilet and said sorry we do not typically work on these toilets. I have an American Standard flushmate which is pressure assisted. I said OK and the representative goes I still have to charge you for the visit. $90.95 for someone to tell me they can't work on my toilet? Isn't this something they should determine prior to the visit?
Will not be using them in the future.

  • I will break down how this remodel went area by area.
Bathroom:  Near the end of the remodel the contractor became very frustrated because the pipes kept bursting.  One time they burst overnight, in the middle of winter, and took out the pilot light on our hot water heater.  We were stuck with no hot water for 2 days.  He insisting he could handle doing the pipes.  On his last day he told us he got everything working.  We noticed a few things (like the drain being installed above the tile floor), and he told us it was done correctly. Fast forward to June (approximately 3 months after he completed the job), and my husband arrived home to our crawl space completely flooded and that same junction burst.  We called our plumber, who fortunately came out right away.  Our plumber told us there were a number of things wrong with what our contractor did.  He used the wrong type of pipes, wrong fittings, the drain to the toliet drained into the shower drain, which was installed incorrectly.  Water doesn't flow up, and the drain sitting on top of the tile just meant the water would never drain.  We were fortunate that we never used the bathroom, because part of the bargain price was that we would do the priming and painting and flooring.  The tiles are installed crooked, and the grout is cracked throughout.  The toliet wax ring has gone bad and is now leaking whatever water was left in the toliet (after our plumber sealed the bathroom off until we could fix it properly-another 3-5000).
Electrical:  Upon installing the ceiling fans we found out that he somehow linked one switch to the two fans in different rooms.  This was a fire hazard.  We called him and he came over.  After an hour he claimed the attic was too hot for him to work in, and he didn"t know what was wrong.  He would be back in a week.  My husband then approached him about the plumbing in the bathroom.  We were told by him he did nothing wrong, and that the plumber was lying to get more money.  Our plumber we have used for over 8 years and has never steered us wrong.  He then stormed out of the house, leaving his tools, and yelled at my husband.
Doors:  The doors are not cut correctly and will not close.
    Walls:  The walls are crooked.
He advertises that he keeps it clean and cleans up after himself.  Working all sorts of hours, and not knowing when he was going to show up just didn't work for me either.

  • The quote was very high. He came back to me right away but he called and said he needed to do more research so he called me back later. Paul, the contact person was very arrogant too. He seemed to have knowledge, but it was the first person I called. I called more companies and they seem to give all the same information except that DiMeglio's price was drastically high. He knew lots and he knew the area.

  • Many small jobs done.  Fixed mechanisms in toilet, fixed garbage disposal, cleared shower drains.  thought I might need new disposal, but Eric just had to remove something that was clogging it.  Saved me $.

  • They are relatively expensive. They charge for a service call to provide an estimate (and apply the charge to the bill if you have work performed). They said they would provide an estimate for the cost of the work upon evaluating the conditions, but then they only provided me with a list of services and parts, but no budget. I had to inform them that I wouldn't approve the work on an and quot;openand quot; budget, so they eventually calculated the cost. I'll use them again now that I'm better prepared for how they work.
