  • They responded and advised the machine needed a timer. Price quoted for timer was close to price of machine. After buying and replacing the timer myself, the machine was still not working. After consulting with You tube University, I changed the agitator for about $20. Problem solved. Repair man was confident, and inaccurate in diagnosis. Overall service before inaccurate diagnosis was great and very professional!

  • A great experience, and AGS will be my new go-to company for large appliance service in the future. When I initially called, I spoke to a cordial phone rep who took my info and explained their policies and warned me upfront that if parts were needed, they might have to be ordered. I was given a timeframe for the technician to come out to my house the next morning. The technician called beforehand to give me an ETA and then was courteous while he was here. He quickly spotted the problem and did not mind at all explaining it to me. The repairs were completed and the washer is as good as new. Of course the quality of the work is of utmost importance, but a close second is the professionalism of the operation, and my experience today was A+ in all regards.

  • Our GE refrigerator had problem with the temperature control. Craig came to the house and diagnosed that the freezer needed to be defrosted. He charged $60 to diagnose and $60 for the recommendation to defrost the freezer. He also said that after the proposed treatment of the problem by defrosting the freezer, if there is a loud noise or clicking in the freezer then the fan needs to be replaced. There was clicking of the fan afterwards so he recommended we replace the fan which costed additional $150. He replaced the fan, took the fan he removed with him and ever since the refrigerator makes this loud noise multiple times in the day that it is literally giving me a migraine. I called him, my husband called him but he never responded. Finally he did answer his phone one day and asked me to send him a video of the refrigerator making the sound. Although I sent him the video, which does not adequately capture the sound and I told him so, he never called back to follow up. We would think that he would at least have the courtesy to look at the job he has performed and tell us what the problem is. It is okay if he does not have the knowledge to fix it but at least he can say so. Now we are calling the GE company and asking them to look at it. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company or the services to anyone.

  • Went very well.  this is the second time Shai has done work at my home.  the first time his company repaired a an improper conection betwen my furnace and chimney.  both times work was done well, in a timely manner, and a reasonable price.  Most important to me, was a couple of times I had issues with my heat, reached out to Shai and he was able to help me.  He even offered to come to my house himself because he knew I had an infant.  I can not tell you how much that meant to me.  I will continue to use Temp Control in the future.

  • I called Jeff at 12:45 PM and got his voicemail, so I left a message explaining my problem. He called me back on the same day at 2:00 PM telling me he was finishing a job up in the area and could be at my house in the next half hour. I left work and drove home to meet him (he was already waiting in front of my house). 
    He came inside, and told me that he did not hear the fan running in the freezer and that was likely the issue. He helped me unload my freezer into boxes so he could access the back panel. He then checked an verified that the fan was able to spin and that the motor was receiving power, but it wasn't running so it clearly had died. He told me he thought he had the necessary part in his truck, and even if he didn't there was a place nearby that did that he would run to and pick up. Luckily, he had the part in his truck, replaced it and put it back in the freezer. He then noted that ice had formed in the drip tray under the coils and that the defrost drain was likely clogged. He broke up the ice, unclogged the drain and then put my freezer back together. The whole process took about 20-30 minutes and he charged me $138 (for reference, another person I had called quoted $130 just to come out and give an estimate).
    He was professional, helpful, and very efficient. I would certainly use his services again and recommend him to anyone else.

  • They're a very good business. My Mom always uses them, and my brother and sister always use them. I decided to buy a new dishwasher, and I went over there, and they were just wonderful. The quality of the product was very good. It was exactly what I needed. The customer service was wonderful.

  • The provider was quite responsive and returned my request for service call the same day; the appointment was scheduled for the following day.  I was told that someone would call me with the exact time of the appointmenting however the only call that I received was from the contractor who left a message that he could not reach me so I needed to reschedule.  I returned the call immediately and let him know that I was home waiting for the call. He came out and to my surprise did not have shoe protectors for my cream colored carpet! Not a big deal, but it would have been nice.  He was not at all friendly and seemed "put off" when I asked questions.  He gave very short, somewhat sarcastic responses.  Maybe he was having a bad day. When I reminded him that my service request included the dish washer he said that it had to be a separate service request so I said never mind. Glad that my washer is fixed but do not think I will use this contractor again. I was annoyed that he put his stickers on my washer and dryer without asking first - I removed them.

  • Elly called me right away to schedule the repair. Upon his arrival, I showed him the dishwasher and explained that it began leaking a few days prior to purchasing the deal so the timing couldn't have been better. He pulled out the dishwasher and found the cracked hose that needed replacing. Since he was there, I also asked him to repair the outdoor pipe that keeps breaking each winter even though I shut the water off well before the freezing temperatures reach the area. He left to go to Home Depot and get the supplies needed for both repairs. He came back within an hour and fixed the dishwasher right away. He then told me that it would cost $160 to repair the pipe outside which I thought was a little high but since I needed it done and considering the dishwasher was fixed for $99, I figured, overall, it was a good price. He repaired the welds on the pipe and cleaned up inside and out and left. Though the pipe was fixed, it was only temporary. One morning about a week ago, I heard something break and bounce under my deck. I went down to the basement and could see the pipe bouncing and knocking against the deck. I'll have to get it fixed again, and hope to get someone who can figure out why this keeps happening and resolve the issue in a more permanent manner. Otherwise, Elly was prompt and professional.

  • The repair man was very rough with my dryer and seemed to be in a hurry to get out.  He replaced a few parts and did not explain to me how much the repair was going to cost.  After the repair was complete, he did not put the dryer back together properly and there were screws/bolts left over.  After he was finished he said that it was going to cost $250, however later that day the dryer was still not working properly.  The company will not return my calls to fix the problem.  I will never use this company again!
