    Trenton Roofing & Siding
We are happy with our siding replacement and would recommend them. The team showed up on time, were polite, and there were not any surprises. I called the company after the job about a light that was not working but they came back out and fixed it without a problem. We are happy with the job they did!

    Fana Roofing and Siding LLC
Marek showed up for an estimate and was able to give me an estimate within a few minutes. The price was great! The team came out to do the work and they were very courteous and clean. They had the old shingles off and new siding on in a few days. He also helped with a few small items like hanging new lights outside and hiding some wiring under the shingles for outdoor entertainment. Overall we have been very happy with the work that was done and would recommend him to anyone we know, in fact, we already have :) .

    DreamWorks Remodeling LLC
I had a great experience with DreamWorks Remodeling. Oleg and his team were a pleasure to work with - from the initial estimates to the final work being done, he kept us informed of the progress of the project every step of the way through phone calls, emails and text messages, and was more than able to answer any questions we had. To me, one thing that set DreamWorks apart from other contractors was their down-to-earth approach to sizing up the project. We ended up not getting the cheapest materials and not getting the most expensive materials, but found a good balance that would be more than sufficient for our needs. He also made sure that we were involved in any decisions that needed to be made when it came to colors, materials, placement of downspouts, etc. The manufacturer they use for shutters had about 20 different color options, but none of them were exactly what we wanted. Oleg was able to provide paintable shutters instead, so that I could just paint them whatever color I wanted and his team would then install them. This worked out well for me, as I was able to get exactly the color I wanted. They were also willing to replace the roof of our shed using the same shingles as the house, which ended up looking great. What really impressed me was the workmanship they showed in replacing the siding. This is a really big job - essentially covering every square inch of the house in new siding, replacing any rotted wooden fascia with new wood pieces wrapped in aluminum and similarly wrapping all window frames, light fixture base units, plumbing fixtures and really anything sticking out of the house with clean, aesthetically pleasing materials. As a result, it looks like a brand new house on the outside, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

    Nationwide Window & Siding
I was very impressed with the sales agent during the initial meeting. He was professional and explained exactly what the company had to offer, and would do, if I hired Nationwide Windows Siding. He explained the process, materials, and timeline as well as price points for the job. When the installers arrived they were very professional and efficient. They worked quickly and completed the job within the initial timeline. They answered my questions as the job proceeded and addressed any concerns I had. They also cleaned up the work site everyday and left my property clean. I also loved the gutters, leaders, leaf guards and screens used on my roof. I was also very pleased with the color I selected, the materials that were used and the quality of service I received. I was concerned, from seeing other siding jobs in my neighborhood, that there might be too many seams. However, this was not the case. They used "Seamless" siding and the finished job was beautiful! Even my neighbors commented on how much they liked the color and quality of the work done. My house looks new even though it was built in the 50's. My home went from the "ugly duckling" to the "beautiful swan" of the neighborhood! Even I have to look twice to make sure I don't miss my new home because it looks so different! I would not hesitate to use this company again and/or to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

    1st Rate General Construction, LLC

Started with a consultation. We were planning on a full blown kitchen remodel that would combine our dysfunctional kitchen and dining room and update an attached powder room. 1st Rate General Contracting put us in touch with all of the players in this project from cabinet, tile, lighting, heat, granite, backsplash and appliance suppliers etc...  All offered huge selections and provided major discounts from MSRP.

First major step with the physical remodel was demolition of all space to be remodeled, down to the studs. Removal of existing walls, cabinets, countertops, pantries, tile floors, etc... When they were done, only studs remained. The worksite was rustic, but clean and not a hint of refuse on my property.

A coordinated effort between all sub-contractors, carpenters, tile, electric, plumbing etc., saw the living space transformed into a beautiful huge open concept kitchen and dining area that we are proud of. New electric service, heated floors, modern appliances, conversion to gas range and oven, outdoor venting, new exterior windows, and so much more. The attention to detail from all of 1st Rates employees and sub-contractors was exemplary and evident in the results of this project.

I would not hesitate to call on 1st rate for any other projects and they are always first off my lips when recommending a general contractor to family or friends.

    We are happy customers.

The Roofing Company & Exteriors LLC

The entire project was fantastic from start to finish. The estimator arrived right on time for our scheduled appointment - there was no 2-3 hour window, we scheduled the appointment for 1pm, he was there at 1 pm. He was very knowledgeable and patient; answered all my questions thoroughly. The workers were wonderful too, they started working bright and early in the morning, they were very neat, and polite. They cleaned up so well, you would never know we just did a major renovation. I couldn't be happier with The Roofing Company & Exteriors; it was such a pleasant experience, and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family!

    Mattson Contracting Services
My husband and I had this kitchen remodel in mind when we
hired Mr Mattson and his son several years ago to install a plate glass window
between two interior rooms. We were extremely happy with the window and ended
up growing the scale of that project with various add-ons that included modernizing
some ceiling lighting, painting several rooms, and replacing the hardwood
flooring in our foyer. I should have reviewed the Mattsons on Angie?s List at
that time and given them the A they earned. Just to call out a few highlights
of that experience: (1) They listened carefully to our needs, made some helpful
suggestions, and explained the entire process of the job that finished on time
and on budget while creating minimal mess and fuss. (2) They tightened up the
floor to remove every single squeak before laying new engineered hardwood and
it?s still perfectly tight today. (3) Mr Mattson came up with an original and
unobtrusive way to hang our new sound bar from our wall-mounted large-screen TV
that beat any options we had seen in stores or online. I knew we had found our
    contractor for the ?big job?.
Flash forward to 2015. We completely renovated a 340 sq ft
kitchen, replacing cabinets, countertops, flooring, and appliances, and in the
process changed the footprint of an awkward  laundry and pantry space into a wall of
cabinets with built-in appliances. The adjacent powder room got a new vanity,
vessel sink, and toilet. The cost quoted above does not include appliances,
granite, or the bathroom fixtures. Again, Mr Mattson made some excellent recommendations.
These included removing soffits that made the kitchen feel smaller, using my
floor tiles to create the kickboard in the functional part of the kitchen, and
my favorite recommendation where he identified dead space behind the former
pantry and used it to create a wider and more welcoming passageway between the
kitchen and dining room while also improving sight lines. He recommended a
terrific kitchen design specialist to help us design the semi-custom cabinetry
and trims, and a granite fabricator that did excellent work, both of them fitting
their jobs into his timeline.  After the
job was underway, Mr Mattson identified a support beam that stopped six inches
short of a load-bearing wall and had been supported through the years by a
simple post hidden inside a wall. Unlike what I was used to seeing on the home
improvement TV shows, the fix (installation of a new beam) was low drama and
did not set back the schedule or the budget appreciably. Once the cabinets were
installed I arranged to have my appliances delivered, and that?s when I learned
that the measurements provided by the appliance manufacturers on their spec
sheets are not necessarily the same as the dimensions of the finished product.
Mr Mattson shaved the cabinet trim to make room for the refrigerator that was
too wide. He also modified the space for my new warming drawer that was too
large for the cabinet, and then the day after installing it he took it out and
created even more space because concerns had gnawed at him that there might
have been a small chance of a fire hazard. He also accommodated a high-capacity
externally-vented exhaust hood above the range where previously there had been
none. To look at my kitchen today you?ll see no evidence of the challenges that
were met and solved. We also replaced wainscot in the eating area, repaired
damaged and uneven walls and ceiling, replaced some outdated can lights with
recessed lighting, moved some lighting, added a pendant lamp above the sink as
well as under-cabinet lighting, and painted walls and ceiling.
Mr Mattson takes particular pride in advising on
good lighting. He gave me sample strips of under-cabinet lighting to try out in
the kitchen before making my final decision ? a far cry from trying to decide
while standing in a big box store. As another reviewer already noted, we also
took advantage of his temporary kitchen sink arrangement during the remodel. We
had use of a functional sink in our kitchen for all but a few days of the
project. To sum up, the skill and attention that he applies to his work make me
feel like he cares about my house as much as I do.
