    Cable is Comcast.  They haven't been doing very good, they're screwing up my billing.  The physical cable service is fine, the cable installation went really well, they just keep billing me outrageous amounts and can't seem to figure out how to correct there own (inaudible).  I got a bill saying I owe zero dollars 30 days later I get a bill saying I owe $566 and I was behind $266.  We've been spending hours on the phone trying to figure out the mystery.  That occurred maybe Thursday, February 25, 2016.  I had a gentlemen telling me yesterday that they're going to shut it off for the amount that I'm behind on.  I'm like come on people, you're the one creating the problem.  The price is terrible, that's the problem with the bill.  They said they accidentally dropped my promotion off my account, that's why I'm getting such an outrageous bill.  The responsiveness wasn't that good either.  They're definitely professional.

    The problem required multiple visits to solve, but it was finally narrowed down to bad wiring on the street. I wish they diagnosed it earlier so I didn't have to take off from work a few times.

    They have a window between 11 am and 2 pm. He arrived at 4:15 pm. The service person Martin was very professional. He said there is a lot of noise due to loose connections. He changed all the connectors, tested and left. Now my internet is flying!!! Awesome work. Great Professionalism.

    It is generally pretty good. I have been a customer of theirs for about 20 years. We had some problems with the cable and they came very quickly and fixed it. My main complaint is that there are a lot of stations on the cable that you really don't need to watch. The cable prices are high and I think if they could reduce it somehow by getting more choices rather than a lot of stations that you really don't watch. It is also difficult to figure out what the stations are because the list of stations is very confusing.

    In the beginning it was fast but lately it has been slowing down because they are trying to push a pipe and I think they are intentionally slowing down  so that they can push the new Quantum.  Before this  the speed was really quick now it is slow to start up but not the dial up thing.  For the TV we have good channels though I don’t watch any of it.  However it costs me a fortune though I do have some premium channels as well that makes it go up.  It is not anything like the introductory offer they gave me in beginning.  The cable net work is very good because I can get whole different things on it.  I like it because I have 3 things provided by this company like the internet, even though I have the problem with it being so slow, it is not as fast as it used to be, I have the land line as well.  Over all the service is good and if there is something wrong, I can call them up and either they can walk me through it or have somebody come out and take care of it.  Even if there is something that they have you can fix things yourself.  All you have to do is go on the TV and follow the direction and work things out yourself.

    It went terrible.  I am still waiting for a service technician to get my land phone lines back up and
    operating.  I can only hope and pray that I can find a suitable alternative to Comcast in my
    area as they have been horrible.  I am very convinced that Comcast couldcare less if I leave them.
    I intend to do just that if I can find any provider out there in my area who is doing a better job.

    General cable service is antiquated. In the area I am in they are still using DSL for internet and do not provide cable, but rather outsource to direct TV if you get the bundle service. However, only 1/2 mile away people can get FiOS, which I had in CA and was great. The internet is slow and the TV goes out every time it rains. It is extremely frustrating.

    I like Cablevision Optimum very much. Their customer service is very helpful. The man came over and answered my questions and got me to switch my provider to Cablevision. We were going through the change, but just then, Hurricane Sandy hit. He called me the day after Hurricane Sandy to make sure everything went okay, with my switch to Cablevision. He told me he had lost his home and everything he had, but he wanted to check with me to make sure I was happy with his business. That was just great, that he would do that.
