  • We have 5 cats and she gave a discount because of that.  We've taken the cats to other vets for various reasons and their prices are through the roof.  She's very reasonable.  The cats have no problems at all.  They love her, the people around her, the receptionist.  When we go in the cats would be all over them.  Actually we got a few of our cats from them.  All of our cats are rescued. I would love to be able to use them again.

  • We have 3 Greyhounds. Believe it or not, Greyhounds are one of the laziest dogs out there. They are the second fastest animal in the world, they’re called 45 miles an hour couch potatoes. They are sweet. Don’t ever buy one if you want a watch dog or a dog for protection. They would lick a burglar to death. They are due for their annual now. It was $45 for all 3 dogs together. What keeps me going back is the good pricing and very experienced veterinary pet care. The vet is very good with my animals. There is nothing that they need to improve on. Of course, everything could cost less.

  • The overall experience with this vet was outstanding. He immediately got us an appointment with their cancer specialist, which usually takes forever to get an appointment with them. Even the experience where I had to spend so much money was outstanding. They made you feel good about spending the money, if that is possible.

  • Called few days prior to their visit to inquire about having our beloved pet Missy of 15 yrs. put to sleep in our home. The young lady was pleasant and sympathetic.  She asked some questions about the dog, her age, breed, size/weight and briefly explained the services- the vet visit., the procedure, removal of her body and she acknowledged  our request for single cremation, as opposed to cremation with other pets, with her ashes to be returned to us. (We had done in-home pet euthanasia in the past and were familiar with the expected chain of events.) Missy was approx. 60lbs, a medium sized dog.  Appt was set up for Thurs Mar. 17 @ 3pm. and the price given over the phone was $415. I repeated the price to my husband who was standing with me and we agreed to go ahead.  The day prior to the appointed visit their office called to confirm the appt.   On the expected date, the vet called about 1/2 hr prior to appt. time, saying he was running late and would arrive about 1/2 late.  Not a problem, we got to spend some more "final good-bye" time with our Missy.  The vet arrived with his assistant & explained the procedure. He was polite and sympathetic, as was his assistant.  The procedure went quickly and smoothly and our Missy was removed on a stretcher, carried by both of them to the mobile van. The vet had the kindness to ask would we like one of her toys, which were nearby, placed with her. Sadly, she had not played with those for some time and said no. It was a sad, loving, procedure and was performed with kindness and caring. We had no problem with that end BUT now the time for payment had arrived. The vet said the fee was $475 which was NOT the price given over the phone. He told me straight out "Well, she was WRONG!"  Now, here are my husband and I both, in tears, our so loved pet was now dead. I was quite distraught, and certainly not in the mood to quibble, plus her body was now in that van! What the vet did not know, nor the girl taking the initial call and quoted the price of $415, was that we had seen on their website - 20% military discount. My husband had his Army discharge papers at the ready, to present when payment came due and we were hoping to pay $332.  (The 20% military discount, cited no details or exclusions). At the very least, we thought, would use the website stated 10% senior discount, since we are both retired. We have had experiences in the past with other companies who do not publish set prices for specific services, and that if you state from the outset that you are eligible for a discount, that the company then build that discount right back into the price they then quote.  It does not state on the Furry Friends website, that you must mention discount eligibility when requesting a price quote. Nor are the prices for in-home euthanasia listed on their website.  At this point, we told the vet about the 20% military discount and he said fine, I'll give you the discount and the price was now $380, which we just agreed to pay. This was $48 more that we had anticipated but we were both emotionally exhausted.  We then signed a paper and the vet did not write up a bill, just took a picture of our credit card and I thought he would then give us an itemized paper bill. He did not. We were not given, nor have we ever received an itemized bill for his services.  The only bill we received was on our credit card statement.  (I was worried about the security of my card number on his phone .( Fortunately, I check my card statement daily & do get instant notifications of any new charges.) The vet then explained that we would get our Missy's remains in about a week, which had to be signed for.  They arrived in a beautiful cherrywood box, complete with a brass name plate along with a lovely card.  We had no idea they would come so beautifully presented and were very pleased. The vet also sent us a lovely card as well. Bottom line, I was not unhappy with the services, but I do take exception to the billing price and practices and the way it was handled. If I ever have to use such a service again, I will ask for ALL the details in writing, prior to using the service.
****UPDATE: He sent me a refund check for $48.00 for the amount that was in question. He apologized for the inconvenience as well. I am very happy with this provider.

  • Dr. Dave and Donna were so kind and compassionate.  I wasn't rushed for a decision.  It was so helpful to have them to come to my house instead of the added stress of bringing Max to the vet.  Max passed painlessly and peacefully in his home and that is a great comfort to me.

  • Dr. Fritz and staff are the best, always courteous, accurate, competent and caring.  His fees have always been reasonable.
He has treated our pets for about 12 years as if they were his own.  He considers their quality life and not simply what the wonders of medicine can ultimately do but will refer us to a specialist if necessary.
We would put the life our animals in his care anytime.  We have total confidence and recommend Dr. Fritz to everyone.

  • I've had several animals spayed/neutered there.  I've never had a problem.  I never had to wait long, and never had a problem with any of the animals during or after the surgery.  Dr. Mickles was always pleasant.  I think he has since passed away and there is someone else doing the surgery now.  The vet wanted $450 for the same service.  They also provide any shots that are due.

  • .They were very good with her as she was in pain. They were excellent in explaining her condition and what had to be done. The price also included a shot and four different types of medicine. I am definitely keeping this group as our new vets!!

  • WENT WELL VETS ARE EXCELLENT AND FRIENDLY............ONLY DOWNSIDE ......THIS FACILITY IS PART OF THE VCA GROUP AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE CONSTANTLY PUSHING TO PROMOTE VARIOUS SERVICES AND PRODUCTS, WHICH ADDS GREATLY TO THE COST OF THE VISIT........

  • Dr. Fritz was very good. He understood my anxiety and he worked with with me. He asked me the questions and I responded. Ultimately he said "if the dog can eat, drink, pee and poop, then it's not that Grimm." My dog tested positive for Lymes disease and we sought treatment right away. . It was a very good experience as always. My pet has responded very well to treatment and I did a phone follow up with the Vet. He recommended two more weeks on antibiotics and a follow up later. I am very happy with results.
