  • I have always known them as good movers. The first time I witnessed their relocation services, my brother was moving from NY to IL. They did such an amazing job, and that is why I was so confident seeking their services when I was moving to New Jersey. I am glad there wasn’t any sign of disappointment. The movers were so passionate about the relocation services. Their services were so adorable. I am glad they coordinated everything in such an organised way.

  • It went much better than I expected. Omar gave me a price which was accurate and he was helpful in giving me tips on what to expect. Tyrone and his team showed up on time and did a great job in loading the truck. Two days later they delivered everything to Toms River at the exact time they said. This was the first time I've used a moving company and I couldn't have been more pleased. No complaints or problems.

  • I hired Tik Tok Moving for my last move purely because of their awesome reputation. But to be frank, I was quite worried about how they were going to handle everything. They turned out to be very professional. They sent over 4 movers who had years of experience under their belts. Everything went like clockworks. They wrapped everything neatly and then loaded the boxes and furniture onto the truck carefully. They were done with everything so quick that I believe I saved at least 2 hours of extra wages. I will definitely recommend them.

  • They moved me from New Jersey to Florida. I had a lot of stuff. I think they almost had to push the last day into the trunk. I had a lot of stuff; I mean a lot of stuff.  It's a family business. Tara the wife came out and went over everything. They were very reliable They came when they said they would. It was perfect scheduling really very good, I was very happy.

  • Absolutely awful. They dented our 5' safe, dented our bed frame, scratched up our filing cabinets, our belongings were in plastic bins to making moving easier and they broke a majority of them. My 8 foot bird cage is bent in several areas. Simply careless people. Hands down the worst experience of my life.

  • They gave me an estimate of $2000.00 and then charged me $6000.00. On their website they state they are A+ rated with the BBB and they are actually F rated. I spoke with the owner and told him they are unethical and told him I saw they were actually F rated with the BBB. He told me that is what courts are for so sue me. I told him I wanted to make the payment by credit card and he informed me that it is cash only and otherwise he was going to put my items in storage and he would charge $100.00 a day.

  • OUTSTANDING! After almost getting ripped off from a 3rd party mover, Bekins came in and took over both of our moves. They were efficient, professional, and they kept us up to date on every detail. All of our furniture arrived in Florida ON TIME, not even ONE glass was broken. Sandy and her crew were outstanding! They were clean, they were proficient, they were excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend Bekins for cross country moving! They are due to move us within NJ next week. Will report on same.

  • The sale went well with a great turnout of customers.  Matt had a crew there to assist with sales and watch for theft.  He was the only person taking in the money and knew the price of every item because he was the only one who priced them. I recommend Matt wholeheartedly. When I first spoke with him and learned how an estate sale is run, I knew Matt was the guy. I did speak with one other prior who wasn't the guy. After speaking with Matt I was relieved, knowing the problem of cleaning out my house was going to be solved. A 3000 square foot house of contents will not fit in a fully furnished 2 bedroom condo. I would be getting money for my valuable possessions and not just putting them in a dumpster or storage. I had total confidence in Matt and he did not disappoint. Never did he sugar coat anything and at times I learned the  reality about what some items were worth on the market. 

    Matt also reminded me his concern was his client and my happiness was his bottom line. He was concerned that I did well but I was also concerned he did well because he had worked so hard to make it successful.

    My friends were concerned on all aspects and not one expressed any regrets or concerns about Matt.

    You will feel good after all is said and done.

    Everything went well.

    If you are not happy with Matt's services. you are not  living in reality!

  • It all started out great. Rob came out for an estimate that seemed reasonable and fair. Scheduling was easy. But, after that it was more challenging to reach Rob, to confirm he received our deposit, etc. The morning of move, the guys showed up on time and mostly seemed great. The lead guy was super nice. Then, it started going downhill - there was lots of complaining. They didn't know that our storage unit was on the 3rd floor (I told Rob this and there is a freight elevator) and quickly set the stage for the price going up because of that. They also refused to move a box that was labeled paint. I explained it was our toddler's arts and crafts but they just shrugged and said "no." So, we threw it in our vehicle. They worked hard initially and definitely slowed down at some point. There was more complaining upon arriving at our new house. It was not pleasant to be around. They even left an item hidden instead of moving it up to the attic. My husband and I had to move it later. We did find some broken dishes but that is possible to have been our fault or theirs (although the box was crushed). Who knows? Finally , the discount offered was taken off of the balance NOT the full cost. Another reviewer had mentioned this yet is continues to be a problem. When I wrote Rob about these issues, he responded quickly that first weekend and then it took me WEEKS to get a check (I had to email him 5 times to remind him). I was reasonable in asking for the additional discount and in sharing the cost of the broken dishes (and not asking for compensation for the piece of furniture being hidden). It also looks like we were charged too much for travel and labor. When you are paying $170/hour, every overage counts.  We should have been more mindful and assertive on the day of but we were all exhausted and really wanted them just to leave as it wasn't pleasant to have them around. 
    In sum, this was not the WORST moving experience I have had but it was a far cry from the best. The price seemed great at the estimate but creeped up on the day of. Do your research carefully and be sure you watch what you are charged.

  • This mover was excellent! This company has been in business since 1942 and is still family-owned. Baker McColley is the owner, and he came to my house to assess my furniture, boxes, etc. He explained that the TV and all of the glass shelving would be wrapped securely. He also said that the sofas/chairs would be wrapped in plastic wrap so they would not be soiled or damaged. He explained that items should be removed from the dressers, since the furniture would be up-ended in the transport on the dollies. He then provided us with an estimate which we felt was very fair.
    On the day of the move, the crew arrived right on time. They were clean, fast, and they acted professionally. The driver of the truck  was the "boss." He decided where everything went in the truck. There were three other men who were very strong and knew how to do their jobs. They moved my house in 5 hours. The truck was stored in the company warehouse overnight, and the truck arrived on time the next day at my new house. Once again, the crew was efficient, friendly and professional. There was no damage to my belongings, and we were very pleased with this move.
    I highly recommend this moving company. They have been in business for a long time, and they are excellent!! Trust them to do your move. You will not be disappointed!
