  • I go there regularly; I have a ton of eye problems. They are very caring and they are very good at what they do.

    They talk to you about what they are doing until you and understand which I really appreciate because its very complex when people start talking to you about medical situation.

    I love that Dr. Athwal, it may take some time, will call me back himself! Which now-a-days is a bit unusual.

    They are sometimes a bit a late but a doctors office is never punctual! But they are really great and work with you so I forgive them that.

  • I went to Atlantic Eye Physicians several years ago and had a normal experience then, so I scheduled an appointment again for a routine eye exam and new prescriptions for my contacts and glasses. When I called to make my appointment, I asked the receptionist if they accepted my new insurance, and she confirmed that they did. They were pretty booked up, so I had to wait several weeks for my appointment, but my previous experience was positive, so I decided the wait was worth it. When I arrived for my appointment today, however, I was informed by the front desk attendant that they do not accept my insurance. I told the attendant that I had confirmed that my insurance was accepted earlier, and asked if they offered any kind of price discount for people who don't use their insurance, but she said there was nothing she could do to help me. I'm very disappointed, and frustrated by the inconvenience.

  • It didn't hurt and it went very well because I'm afraid of needles and they were very comforting. It was a very good experience because I was scared to death, but they're very caring. They make you feel like they really care about you. I had to wait about a month to see them, but it's because they're so good and have so many customers.

  • I used them for the first five years I was here and I dropped them two years ago. They examine your eyes. In the beginning I liked them. They have two brothers that work there. I find them to be fine and very professional. Then after a time the reason why I dropped them is because I had questions to ask the doctor and the doctor said no hold that question for my assistant. I don't feel the questions I wanted to ask, I wanted to ask an assistant. I said I wanted to ask a doctor that went to med school. So I left them and went with another doctor.
