They’re good but their wait is long, but I like the doctor I use Dr. Bruce Kaiser. They’re very good, very friendly. I’ve had good results with them, I’ve been going there for years, they’re very competent, they’re friendly, they’re nice, I’m getting problem stabilizing, they’re good.

    Jonathan Barofsky MD
He is not a just a regular eye doctor but they do all the surgical procedures. The way we found him was actually through the commission of the blind, we did not find him on our own. They had highly recommended them and once we started to use them. He is top notch. His staff is great and everything is great. The office is clean. He does things in a timely fashion but sometimes it is hard because there are so many other patients and everybody's got different eye issues. Sometimes there are emergencies coming in but we have usually got inside and not had any issues. My husband goes to another ophthalmologist and they kind of talk to each other. Anytime we have a problem we can call up and they are always very nice. When we walk in they remember our name.

Our insurance covers them, so we don't pay anything. I have never had a problem with them. I am supposed to go every year, but I am over due. I have to make an appointment a few weeks in advance, and I have never had to wait there.

I go there regularly; I have a ton of eye problems. They are very caring and they are very good at what they do.

They talk to you about what they are doing until you and understand which I really appreciate because its very complex when people start talking to you about medical situation.

I love that Dr. Athwal, it may take some time, will call me back himself! Which now-a-days is a bit unusual.

They are sometimes a bit a late but a doctors office is never punctual! But they are really great and work with you so I forgive them that.

    Atlantic Eye Physicians
I went to Atlantic Eye Physicians several years ago and had a normal experience then, so I scheduled an appointment again for a routine eye exam and new prescriptions for my contacts and glasses. When I called to make my appointment, I asked the receptionist if they accepted my new insurance, and she confirmed that they did. They were pretty booked up, so I had to wait several weeks for my appointment, but my previous experience was positive, so I decided the wait was worth it. When I arrived for my appointment today, however, I was informed by the front desk attendant that they do not accept my insurance. I told the attendant that I had confirmed that my insurance was accepted earlier, and asked if they offered any kind of price discount for people who don't use their insurance, but she said there was nothing she could do to help me. I'm very disappointed, and frustrated by the inconvenience.

The office is very efficient, they have about four doctors in there and they get people through very quickly, the billing and everything are fine, they take Master Charge so I can pay it right there. I was recommended by an optometrist to them when he found out I had this problem.

The office is immaculate. The main problem with his practice from a patient's point of view are the long waits. My husband has left twice before his appt. disgusted by the long wait, and being told the remaining wait was even longer. (he goes about every three months). I have always waited at least an hour. They should let patients know an accurate wait time when arriving. And then offer a rescheduling, if necessary.

Once you are and quot;brought backand quot;, you will see a variety of assistants who check for various eye issues. Once you get the drops in your eyes, you will sit in a small room to wait for your eyes to dilate. They are definitely dilated well.

Ask for the prescription even if you plan to buy glasses in the adjoining room. It is a good thing to have.

I used them for the first five years I was here and I dropped them two years ago. They examine your eyes. In the beginning I liked them. They have two brothers that work there. I find them to be fine and very professional. Then after a time the reason why I dropped them is because I had questions to ask the doctor and the doctor said no hold that question for my assistant. I don't feel the questions I wanted to ask, I wanted to ask an assistant. I said I wanted to ask a doctor that went to med school. So I left them and went with another doctor.

Athwal Eye Associates is a really good place, I am very pleased with there services. They except Medicare which I feel is very important for others to know. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Their prices are reasonable.  Their staff is knowledgeable.  They are the nicest people and they would spend as much time as needed to pick out the glasses and their doctors are also very good.  I never had a bad prescription written by one of their ophthalmologists. I will continue to use them in the future.
