    Kevin Mulholland LLC Remodelers
We have used this company on several occasions for various properties. Their work is excellent. Kevin has always communicated directly with me in a prompt, professional manner. His crews are neat and work efficiently. I highly recommend them.

    Energy Aide
If youre looking for a company to side your house, look no further than Energy Aide! From the first meeting with the owner, Tony, I knew that this was the company I wanted to go with to do my job. Tony met with me and answered all of my questions very thoroughly and patiently. He even told me that we did not need to replace the gutters, soffits or fascia. Since they were still in very good shape, we only needed to power wash them. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process to update me when there was a delay with the start date due to bad weather we had had, which delayed the job prior to mine. When the job began, the workers were on time, proficient and friendly. They worked hard and I always felt comfortable going to them with any questions I had because they were very polite and never made me feel like I was bothering them. They transformed our home and exceeded our expectations. Our house looks brand new and we love it! We could not be happier and we have no reservation recommending this company to you. I couldn't be happier with Larry's responsiveness and getting a quality job completed as promised, the day before the nor'easter that is hitting us as I'm writing this review. Also evident was Larry's pride in his work. The problem was caused by the use of screws which were too short in the fascia board during the initial construction of the house. The job took the better part of Friday, October 26.

    O'Donovan Construction
We had a new roof put on by Steve 5 years ago. Overall we have been please with the roof, but there we have had other issues: We hired him because he claimed to not use subcontractors. Unfortunately, this was not true. Steve was on the roof for not more that 5 minutes, did some sweeping and clean-up, and went to another job while the sub-contractors did the work. To keep us from complaining about this discrepancy in our original deal, Steve offered us a 10 year workmanship warranty on our roof. Five years later we started having trouble with our Gutter Helmet, which Steves crew had incorrectly took off and reinstalled, without knowing how to do this type of work. They damaged many pieces of the Gutter Helmet. After taking months for him to show up at the house, and for him to meet with the Gutter Helmet representative, the Gutter Helmet rep. indicated that 60% of the problem was cause by the homeowner (me) and 40% was Steves fault. Steve took verbal responsibility for the damage his crew did, and he promised to pay for the damage, and to reinstall a new gutter shield. Unfortunately, he never showed to do the work, he has stopped returning my phone calls, and even after I warned him that I would be posting this review, he did not fulfill his obligations under his signed 10 year workmanship warranty. I completed the work myself in 9 hours the other day. It is unclear to me why Steve did not take the time to do this. I am hopeful Steve will still make good on his warranty. At that time I will write a new review stating that he kept his word. At this time I can not recommend Steve.

    More Core Construction
If you need siding and/or roofing, Hire More Core Construction NOW !!!! The guys who did my siding and roof were amazing. Their expertise and professionalism were beyond great ! I had absolutely no issues whatsoever with the workmanship and their work ethic. They were here early morning and stayed until almost dark and cleaned up every time they were here. They answered all my questions and concerns. It's hard to find this kind of work these days. My house looks great.

My project manager Nick was great. He showed up promptly for the estimate and during the job he addressed my concerns in a timely manner, In my opinion Nick is a professional, friendly and very fairly priced project manager. Despite the rainy weather, the turnaround time for the work was completed in mere days. I gave the company an overall and quality B rating because the crew was very sloppy. During the job they left behind dangerous debris on the roof and were not good at cleaning up. They did not use a magnet roller to pick up stray nails. I would probably hire them again, but I will not allow the same crew to perform the job.

    J-N-J Roofing LLC
I had first estimate done and I thought that this guy was very nice and I was comfortable to have my project done by this company. I consulted my son to help me decide, then he asked me if I got a sencond opinion . I told him that I don't need second opinion because this guy that came over first seems very reasonable. Then he said let's look at Angie's list and see what's the reviews. We found out that he has 4 A's but as we scrolled down we found some F's. We continue searching and we found J-N-J roofing. They have all A's reviews who happened to be local business owner. My son said this is the guy I want to do our roofs. I called J-N-J roofing, LLC and got estimate from Johnny who happened to be the owner of the business. We exchanged pleasantries and before even claimibing up to the roof. He gave me a flat rate estimate. He told me that with the price that he will give me before even going up to the roof will be the same even if he found 2 or 10 rotten or more plywood that need to be changed ". He learned I was Angie's list member and said if I decide to have the project done within after a week of estimations, he will give me $500 off from the previous price he gave me. We made a deal and after a week the whole crew came composed of his whole family and they started the protect as planned. I was so empressed how hard worker they are, they left my sorounding so clean afterward. It's really very important to have a second opinion for whatever project you will have so there is something for you can compare about. We made the right decision for letting Johnny and his family did the job. This is their family business so there were personal touch of what they do and that is very important. We are very satisfied with the outcomes. Who so ever will read this review I encourage you to stop looking because Johnny is right person your looking for to do your project.

    Steve Whitman Roofing & Siding
Excellent! Price was very good. I chose Steve Whitman because of the great reviews on Angie's List. The installers removed old siding, installed Certainteed siding and seamless gutters, and were very attentive to detail. They cleaned up neatly, and the dumpster was removed promptly upon completion of the job. I highly recommend this contractor to anyone who needs a quality siding installation.

    American Home Remodeling Inc

From the time we signed up with Angie's List, on March 28th, the entire job went flawlessly.  We were contacted so the size of the roof  (which is a two story Colonial, with a lower roof over family room/garage) and a determination made to size, layers of shingles to be removed, etc..  This took place on April 1st.

We were contacted once again when the provided had the permit, which they took care of getting.

The roof job took placed on April 18 & 19th.  The gutters and leaders were installed on the morning of the 20th.

During the process Nick Fiore came from the office to check on the status of the work and talk with us.

During the entire process the contractor and workers kept their word on when they were coming and what was to be done.  As most people we are busy and juggling much in our personal life.  It was a pleasure to have such a reliable company work on our house.  We would recommend them highly if you are looking for a quality job and dependability.

    AMERICAN GUTTER GUARD COMPANY LLC
Owner came and was very charming and really SOLD the job. Pointed out several things we wouldn't have noticed and said repair/replace would be part of job.Said install would be in 2-3 weeks and we'd be called. 3 1/2 weeks and no contact(60% down payment cashed the day it was given to him) and we called 3 times before Michelle called on a Friday(4 weeks after first contact) to say install would be following Tuesday. Tuesday came and no one showed. We called and Michelle said it wasn't supposed to be Tuesday, it was supposed to be Wednesday. We know the difference between Tuesday and Wednesday but anyway, Wednesday comes and 1/2 hour AFTER they were to have arrived, Michelle calls and says they are not coming, the gutter bender was broken and needed to be fixed. She couldn't give us a date of install but would keep in constant contact with us. Two more days and no call from them, we call another 3 times before getting someone who then said 10:00AM Monday morning.10:00AM Monday morning comes and goes and surprise, surprise, no one comes or calls. We call, leave several voicemails and finally someone calls us 11:45 and says truck coming from Princeton and will be there in 35 minutes. 12:45 no one comes, I call and get Matt(rare time we call and someone actually answers phone). Matt says truck left from West Berlin at 11:45 and should be there any minute. Truck shows up near 2:00PM and they go to work. They are not given enough PVC and they don't replace 3 of the items Matt has pointed out specifically in his sales visit that they would fix. They call and are told not to fix it, it isn't in the contract. They will call to schedule completion of service to put PVC in that they were shorted in materials. I call and get Matt and he says, sure when they come back they will replace the 3 items they said they wouldn't first time around. No one calls to reschedule service and we call 2 or 3 more times before we get someone and service is rescheduled. Instead of replacing items, they put two nails in each flimsy piece of metal and declare it replaced. They ill-fit the PVC for what they were shorted the first time and leave. They leave several dozen nails and screws and several sharp pieces of old gutter in the grass in our back yard where we often walk barefoot to the pool.We call to ask about the replacement of the items Matt originally said he would replace, then said he wouldn't, then again said he would, then did not replace but "repaired", and are told by Michelle "but they were not in the contract." At that point we are done dealing with them, we probably made 25 phone calls which went mostly unanswered/unreturned over a 3 week period, also 3 emails that went unanswered. They were supposed to bill us for the two installment payments. No invoices were sent. We don't hear from them for a week, then Michelle calls and says Matt wants to stop by to see if we are satisfied. We tell them we never have been satisfied, not by the service, the workmanship, or the lack of correspondence, and no, we don't want anymore visits. If they were interested in our satisfaction, they would have replaced what Matt offered(we didn't ask) to replace the first time. Matt then calls and leaves a message"I would like to stop by and look over the job, and by the way also pick up payment." As I am calling him back to tell him, no, do not stop by, he is ringing our doorbell. We couldn't him to come when they were supposed to, but then he shows up at our door because it is time to collect payment.
    >
    >All in all, a very poor experience, less than poor communication, poor workmanship, poor excuses, and did not deliver what was promised. I would not recommend any portion of the job, least of all Matt the owner who promises things and then when asked about it, makes it seem that we are the liars.
