    TFS Kitchens
If you are looking for kitchen cabinet refacing, call TFS Kitchens last. Its the best quote you will get for such an excellent job. The quality of the workmanship was superior. He far exceeded my expectations of a job well done. Many of my neighbors who saw my kitchen, were so impressed with the quality of the work, that they also decided to use TFS Kitchens.

Tom did an excellent job! He came to our home with door samples and when we decided on color; they were ordered. We had moved into a new home, so had some updating construction going on, but Tom was able to work with our contractor and added several things that made our kitchen even more beautiful, such as a side panel next to our stove. He also added the glass panels that we had ordered, as well as the handles on all cabinets. In addition, he installed the soft close hinges on all the cabinets. He worked extra hard to get the job done as we were having a Christmas party and wanted the kitchen completed in time. He worked late nights and really was wonderful in getting the job done ahead of time.

    Elegance Surface Concepts
We contacted Elegance Surface Concepts to have our maple kitchen and fireplace refinished in white. We weren't even sure if it can be done at the time. We met Mark and immediately we fell in love with him! He told us that not only can he get them white, but we can choose what type of white we wanted...(Brilliant white, distressed white, antique white..etc) He showed us a few samples and was very patient with us because we weren't sure what style we wanted to go with. Mark even came back a couple times to show us the samples again. After we pick the style, Mark gave a date he can start and told us how long it would take. On the day he gave us, Mark and his team showed up on time and ready to work. They were extremely neat and careful in protecting all the appliances, floors and walls. Mark removed the cabinet doors and refinished the cabinet casings and fireplace in two days and they looked absolutely amazing.. You would never know we had them refinished. A week later Mark came back with the cabinet doors and installed them. Needless to say Mark exceeded my expectations and he will be the only one I call in the future.. We are now looking to update our upstairs bathroom so Elegance Surface Concepts will be getting a call soon.

He would always go the extra mile to service us. He knew that we were in a hurry for the new counter top. He told us he had a full day booked the following day but would it be alright to take measurements at 7:30 AM. We were thrilled! We had our new counter one week later and it was beautiful.

    Sears Home Improvement Products
They stink. The contractor they had come here was in a big hurry because he wanted to go fishing. After the job was done everything started falling apart here. So I called Sears back and they sent another contractor here and they wanted $800 to fix what this first guy messed up. I questioned why I should pay another $800 and the company said the cabinets were only warranted for a year. I thought this was kind of ridiculous. I was told that I didn't read the contract. I told them that when their representative originally came here I was told that my warranty was for life. So, I won't recommend them to anybody.

    HOME DEPOT INC
I went to Home Depot as I was looking for carpeting or something like that and there were two or three young people who were trying to solicit the business for their outside home improvement business and they told me that they had a special going on for cabinet refacing and there would be no charge to have an estimate done. My cabinets were 41 years old and then I thought I have to do something about it so I asked to send the guy out. The guy came out and he was little rough at first and he was measuring and this and that and the other thing and then he gave me a price and then he came down and he dropped the price two grand so I looked at my wife and said, "We should really have it done because we haven't had anything done here." and I didn't want to do a total renovation where they take the cabinets out and put new cabinets in. The price went from $8900 to $6800 because they had some kind of special going on so I signed up with him and then at first I picked up like a white finish up for the cabinets and he said what's going to happen is, we are going to have the tech guys who are going to come out and measure the doors and different areas that are going to be refinished. He came out (His name was Anthony) and he was excellent. He said, "You go on no where with this white?why don't you pick out a color?" So I picked out a color that's like a real light perch wood color and he did the measuring and everything. He was really good, really polite and a real nice guy. He had some ideas that were really good. This house is 41 years old and nothing was done with the cabinets and some of the doors on the cabinets are pretty large (like 2 foot across) and there were 5 of them like that. He said, "Why don't you get rid of big doors?...We could put 2 doors together and make it look really good." I said, "That's a good idea" and that's what I did and he did the measuring and everything. He said it will be 5 or 6 weeks before they are done because when you get a refinishing job from them, you get all new doors, new drawers and the only thing that he uses is the existing frame of the cabinet, but you get new knobs and everything. It was only 3 weeks up and they called up and they said, the stuff is all done and asked me when they could install it and I asked them to come out next week because I had to get prepared and had to take everything out of the cabinets. They came out on a Monday and there was this gentleman (Dave) who was from a place which is an hour away from here. He was a sub contractor for Home Depot and he was a real nice guy. He looked at the job and everything and said, probably some guys can get this job done in 2 days, but I am probably going to take 3 days or may be a little bit longer. I said, I don't care how long you take as long as you do a good job. He was an excellent craftsman and he took his time and he really did a nice job. I was more than happy with what was done. It came out better then we even thought. It worked out really well. The two guys, the measure tech guy that came out was great. He came in and he had a lot of good ideas and he was in the business for a long time. He didn't rush or anything and he said, "Why don't you do this?...Why don't you do that?..." and he changed me from going with white cabinets to the light oak and it looks so much better and with the doors instead of having the big doors, he split them and he said it is going to look much better. His ideas were good. The guy who did the work, took his time, he was really good and he was careful and he covered all the floors up and everything with clothes and all. I would without hesitation recommend them to anybody. The only problem is that when you get a job done from them in this area, you are probably going to have the same guy that came out to measure it. You might not get the same craftsmen to do the work. They work out of here and there might be 10 or 15 different guys that work for them. I looked in the paper the other day and it said kitchen cabinets refacing from Home Depot 10 by 10 kitchen (which ours is) is $3500 so I don't know about the price and I paid what I paid and I was happy with the price, but I don't know if I got ripped or what the deal is. The quality is really good. They did a good job. I would consider using them again in the future. I am probably thinking of getting carpeting and might go there again. The thing I liked about Home Depot was that this is the contracting company that works directly for them, but Home Depot was responsible and they called up and checked if the carpenter was there and what time he showed up and this and that and the other things.

    A&A Cabinets
During the estimate Al told us what we wanted done would take 2 days, and true to his word it took 2 days. Al and his assistant Jesse arrived on March 3rd and worked the entire day on the cabinets, he hung plastic shielding all around open areas to the rest of the house, this prevented dust from getting through.  And it worked.  On march 4th Al and Jesse arrived promptly and completed the rest of the job.  We are so pleased with the work.  Before they left they vacuumed up all dust created by the work. They were extremely professional and worked from 8:30 until 5:30 we had to insist they take a break for lunch or they would have skipped it. I would recommend A & A cabinets very highly to anyone considering this type of improvement.

I was informed after I purchased the Big Deal that the $2000 would come off the final bill that would start at $7000 and could go up to $30,000.  I think the add was deceiving.
