    Big Dog Construction LLC
The entire experience was very pleasant from day one. The owner, Telly came to the house to give us estimates on several projects we wanted to work on. You could tell that he actually cared about the projects and took his time explaining several options. He even drew out a few designs for us and gave us ideas we hadn't thought of. He got the estimates to us within a few days and we picked the ones we wanted to work on first. The projects were scheduled for about 4 weeks later. In the interim, we decided to add another major project to the work which was already scheduled. Big Dog was very accommodating. They checked with another client who was scheduled the week after us and asked if they could push them back a week. The other client agreed and Big Dog was able to fit us in for 2 weeks of work. Kelly, the assistant project manager was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful throughout the entire process. When the work began on May 1st, Mario (the foreman), Gaspar, and Riccardo showed up. These guys were great. Very polite and respectful and eager to work. They arrived the same time every morning, for 2 weeks. They worked all day with a small lunch break in between and did a pretty good job cleaning up the job site each evening. The quality of their workmanship was impressive. They also paid a lot of attention to detail. Any little thing we addressed or asked if it could be done differently was taken care of. Mario was extremely helpful when it came to making decisions about things. He would always ask if we wanted things to look one way or another, and we almost always wound up going with his suggestions. The only reason I downgraded the price to a B was because their prices were a little higher than some other estimates. But, you get what you pay for. The quality of the work and the attention to detail is worth the price. I plan on hiring them again in the near future for some other projects we want to work on. Thanks guys!!

    MO 2 Renovations

I left a rave review after this remodel was completed, but unfortunately I've been taken and left high and dry by this contractor. The cabinets he recommended, Fabuwood, are complete junk. The hinges are terrible and the doors are literally falling off the cabinets. the joints are clearly visible, the soft close drawers and doors do not even close. I noticed this stuff shortly after the completion of the job but it has taken literally years to get to this point with Matt. Last time he was over he said he'd get in touch with the guy who sold the cabinets to come and see if we could make a warranty claim. That was months ago. And the list goes on. When I questioned before the job was completed why they didn't paint my new back door with the rest of the trim he said, "it's already the same color." It is clearly not, it is a primer gray while the rest of the trim and cabinets are white. He installed my pantry door and glued a wire rack onto it and it has fallen off. Two doors he ordered were the right swing direction but when they came in he said they weren;t and chopped up the door jambs and hinges to make them what he thought was the right swing. My tile is cracked and chipped. The pocket door he installed has been jambed open since the day he left my home. Everything was extra. I bought the appliances, sink, faucet, cabinet hardware, countertop, floor tile, and wall tile. I paid over $30,000.00 for the worst junk you could ever imagine. The doors are literally falling off! OnceMatt isgone he's GONE!!!!!!!!! I was deployed to a combat zone for nine months and came back with the money to do my kitchen after ten years in my home. What a waste. I want to cry every time I walk into that room. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Mary Colberg, Toms River. Feel free to call me, I'm listed.

We have used classic Kitchens in the past for countertops, vanities and cabinet work. We replaced our old formica countertops with quarts countertops. The installation by the sub-contractor was not acceptable to us. Ronnie from Classic agreed with us and had the subcontractor replace one section. We did not like how the quartz backsplash looked and Ronnie referred us to a Sheehan tile to pick a tile that would match our kitchen . We agreed to pay for the material and classic would install it at no additional cost. We are very happy now with the job. We have dealt with Classic on four different occasions and are very happy with them. I recommend them because they are honest and fair.

Matt did an excellent job from beginning to end I.e.,he finished the job in OCtober and I keep calling him to do one more thing since my husband and I are still living in SC preparing to move back to NJ. He answers all my calls n emails. He also has great suggestions such as installing a pocket door for our bathroom to save space.

As far as we are concerned Matt Onifer is a true professional and trustworthy!

hurricane sandy left us with no lower kitchen cabinets. Peter custom built cabinets under countertop and sink to match upper cabinets. did a fantastic job. would not hesitate to recommend or use him for other projects. Instead of telling us we needed all new kitchen as most other contractors were recommending, He found a way to accomplish what we wanted done and work came out great. Could not be happier....Thank you Peter!!!!!!!

    A&A Cabinets
During the estimate Al told us what we wanted done would take 2 days, and true to his word it took 2 days. Al and his assistant Jesse arrived on March 3rd and worked the entire day on the cabinets, he hung plastic shielding all around open areas to the rest of the house, this prevented dust from getting through.  And it worked.  On march 4th Al and Jesse arrived promptly and completed the rest of the job.  We are so pleased with the work.  Before they left they vacuumed up all dust created by the work. They were extremely professional and worked from 8:30 until 5:30 we had to insist they take a break for lunch or they would have skipped it. I would recommend A & A cabinets very highly to anyone considering this type of improvement.
