    Guru Waterproofing LLC
Having to deal with water in your basement is torture. Just torture. But Mike and his company are second to none in this field. This is my fourth time Im using him. And each experience is better than the previous one.

    The Bobs Waterproofing
Bob was great. He was very responsive and provided the estimate in a timely manner. He was professional and was willing to work around our scheduled. I would hire Bob and and recommend him to others. Also, the price was competitive!

Johnson Kelly Structural & Foundation Repair
Without making this all about a poor review of another contractor's shoddy work, I must briefly say that I had to call Johnson Kelly because my previous contractor, Jersey Shore Crawlspace (they go by other names as well, so be careful), was commissioned by me to perform a crawlspace encapsulation at an exorbitant price. I believed that it would result in quality work but I was never so wrong. I asked them several times, beginning at the inspection/estimate phase, to tell me about the condition of my beams before commencing with the crawlspace encapsulation. They flat out lied and told me the "beams are fine." When that work was completed I went into the crawl myself to inspect and was horrified. The beams were rotted, the plastic barrier was a mess and not sealing anything, and I could go on and on. The job was deplorable. Now to Johnson Kelly. First order of business had to be the beams. It was a structural emergency in my opinion and after my previous dealings I was reeling and felt completely vulnerable. I didn't trust anyone and I was devastated at the thought of putting out tens of thousands more dollars to fix the issue. Truthfully I don't even remember how I discovered Johnson Kelly but thank God I did. Jason came out and spent time listening to me. I was really worried about being taken again. I could see that after inspecting the crawl that he was upset about what the previous company did. I did feel comfortable listening to him explain what they would do and then waited for the estimate with dread. When it came I was surprised. It was reasonable and exceeded my expectations of a fair price considering what I was asking him to do. They took care of the building permit and told me from the start that one would be required. No other contractor has done that and I've asked contractors in the past if the work I was commissioning required one and was told "no", when in actuality it was. When work began it was very consistent. Jason and Perry (owners/project managers) were at the site every single day and did get into the crawl space and managed the project very very closely and assisted when needed. Jesse and Steve are regular employees, young guys, but very professional, friendly, with excellent skills. They worked very hard in bitter cold weather and put in full days, beginning at 0800 every single day, always on time and working straight through. I was kept informed, we all worked well together, and in the end I was left with a quality product: a stable foundation for my home, with a clean, dry, mold and pest resistant crawlspace with a convenient entry system. I have been through the mill with contractors, sometimes having to bring in new ones after poor work, and I'm a smart person! I do my research. I ask the right questions. I cover all the bases, and I still get taken! Johnson Kelly is a reputable company with integrity and skill. So glad I found them and I hope you do too.

    Quality 1st Basements
It went very well.  They first removed all water from crawl space (there was about 4 inches of water).  They encapsulated the entire crawl space and put in two sump pumps and a dehumidifier.

. To date our crawl space remains dry and we are very satisfied.  They did the work in a fast andprofessional manner

    Basements Love Us Inc

From the time that Tom Kelly (the very knowledgeable salesman) started his explanation, I was put at ease. He was very thorough about walking through the basement, explained exactly what would be done and showed many examples of what was happening behind my walls by the water in the ground. I was apprehensive about getting this done since my  neighbor had used a competitor and had a poor experience. But, nonetheless, Tom was very patient and before I knew it, I was agreeing to get the work done. When the 6 man crew showed up on the day of the work, I was impressed by them. They were polite, hard working guys. The crew chief walked me through what would be done, asked if I had questions and they began their work. If there were any questions, someone came to ask me for clarification and the job was completed a few hours before the time the saleman said it might take. These guys really knew exactly what they were doing and proceeded to do it with professionalism and pride. I could tell they were good at this task. My only tiny complaint was that where the rods were inserted into the wall, it looks really rough. Can it be sanded down? Sure, but I would have liked to see it smoother from the get go. No bad for a solid day of cutting into concrete, installing PVC pipe, mixing up concrete and carrying it into the basement.

Would I recommend this company to others? Absolutely!

The installation of the new style valve was completely successful in silencing  the back-flo "thump-thump" that was heard from that particular pump.  A wonderful improvement!  The $90.00 charge included both parts and labor.
