    IN THE DOG HOUSE
We have a positive experience with our two dogs.  They're both small.  They're very good there, very caring and very patient.  They're very careful with them and they're very patient and they just do a very good job overall.  I'd give them an A across the board, whatever it is.

    Glad Wags Groomers
My dog likes going there very much. Jane, the owner, is a kind person who is good with the dogs. It's easy to get an appointment with them and they do a good job grooming my dog. I've gone to a better groomer, but I think it is good enough -- it is a dog, after all.

    Glad Wags Groomers
Exceptional service, as I've come to expect at Glad Wags. I love that a specific appointment time is set, and you know when you arrive at that time you are expected. Since for this visit I was having all 3 dogs - 2 golden retrievers and a cocker spaniel - groomed, Tara helped me bring them in from the car. She very carefully went over with me how I wanted them bathed and trimmed before I left. The goldens always get neatened up, with their tail, fringe and legs trimmed beautifully, but since this was their summer visit Buddy, the cocker, got cut very short with just some curls left on his beautiful floppy ears. Buddy is handicapped, so grooming a pet who cannot stand up and support his weight is just that much more of a challenge that Glad Wags takes on, but he is loved and treated well there and always comes home looking marvelous. My Golden girls love the wide open grooming area and just as they do at home roam around and flop on the floor or in one of the open kennels.
Jane, the shop owner, phoned around 1 or 1:30 to tell me the pups were done. My kids were happy to see me, but also dashed back into the grooming area to zoom around a bit; they obviously were in no rush to leave. Payment is by cash or check, and there are convenient leash hooks by the payment desk to loop the leash over (the previous groomer I used had nothing, and it was always an effort to hold the leash while handling payment).
I highly recommend Glad Wags, and I'm so pleased that I chanced upon it a few years ago. It is not inexpensive, but I've found that I need to take my pets in for grooming much less often than I used to - I'm asked 4-6 weeks after their visits if they were just at the groomer. Beyond just looking good for longer, they also smell wonderfully clean and that lasts as well. On a side note, I previously had problems with my dogs experiencing ear infections a week after a grooming UNTIL moving to Glad Wags. Obviously, care is taken when bathing the pups and drying them off; we've not had one ear infection in the years we've been coming here.

    Glad Wags Groomers
Glad Wags is a friendly, clean and neat facility. The owner, Jane, is professional and helpful, and it is easy to make an appointment at a convenient time. The dogs are affectionately greeted by name, and it is possible to see the back area where the dogs are cared for. Our little cocker was there for an appointment and apparently played with one toy throughout the day, so when he walked out with it still in his mouth she happily sent it home with us.

It seems that our dogs stay fresh longer than the previous groomer we used, and it is clear that care is taken with them. Their coats always look beautiful.

The only disadvantage is they do not accept credit cards, but remembering to bring a check is a small consideration when I know my dogs are well taken care of and will look beautiful when I pick them up.

    Le French Groomer
This was by far the best grooming service that my dog has ever received. I could not have been happier with the cut he had given my dog. He did everything I had asked him to do. It was also the first time my dog was not upset after grooming. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with him and I will definitely utilize his service again.

    PARIS' PET BOUTIQUE

I rescued the sweetest poodle/ Bichon 8 year old 7 months ago. Because of her long stay in shelters and her anxiety about being with strangers I hesitated for a long time to get her professionally groomed. Many friends told me because their dogs hair got matted they almost had to shear off all their hair which was how I had taken my girl home months ago. Then my hairdresser suggested Paris.
The store is in as all strip mall, tiny and in unimpressive. But the caring and professional demeanor is outstanding!
When I showed up I said that I did not want my dog zipped down, please untangle her, but please keep her with hair and looking good...and they dd. she looked absolutely beautiful.
The owner Ray is a absolute doll. He gets service and caring. He spent hours grooming my dog. Next time in 6 to 8 weeks the fee will be about $50 dollars. Go there and you will be happy.

    Le French Groomer
I am a physical therapist for animals and often refer and quot;special needsand quot; dogs to Eric, due to his vast experience and willingness to adapt to difficult cases. There is nothing he can't handle! He has a special way with dogs and they love him. I also use him to groom my dog and he is so gentle and caring!

    FLO'S HAPPY CLIPPER
They are very reliable. I always get an appointment. The dogs are always happy and I actually hold great stock in that. The dogs do not have a way to say "oh boy we are going there." It is small. It is noisy. It is not for somebody who is expecting a fancy dog salon. It is a family thing. It is a Father and his Daughter. It fine, they keep up on it. I use them quite a bit.

    Le French Groomer
Eric is the first groomer who could actually groom my dog - great job with the grooming, great facility, and I feel good leaving my dog with Eric - can't say enough! I've owned Ozzie for a couple of years now - got him from the SPCA, and I don't think he was ever groomed as a puppy because he HATES it! I had taken him to four other groomers before I found Eric. Ozzie gets very upset when you try to touch his ears or paws, and expresses this by growling and biting if you don't know what you're doing. Other groomers either could not clean his ears, could not clean/trim his paws, could not clean either ears or paws, or else were doing something that caused Ozzie to shake with fear upon returning for another groom - so we had to find a new place. On our first visit, Eric sat calmly with Oz on his lap and gently petted him as he explained to me what he planned to do - how short he planned to trim Ozzie, how he would pluck the hair from the ears (a new thing for Oz), etc. - and I was amazed to see that he was actually playing with Ozzie's ears as he was talking, and Ozzie didn't seem to mind! Even so, my experience with groomers left me doubting how Eric would actually do. I should not have worried. When I came to get Ozzie later that day, he was completely groomed AND amazingly calm - took treats from Eric, helped himself to a drink of water, and then settled on a dog hammock in the corner while I took care of the bill. I don't know how Eric does it, but he is somehow able to give my neurotic dog a full groom without terrorizing him in the process. Eric has groomed Ozzie twice now, with amazing results both times, and I have just booked a third appointment (which is what reminded me to write this review!). Eric told me that over half of the dogs he grooms regularly have been "rejected" from other groomers, so it seems it's not just Ozzie who's had problems.Pricing is fine for this area - Eric charges me $60 for Ozzie, which is about what I have paid other groomers. Ozzie is a 24 pound shih tzu, which is quite large for the breed (perhaps there's something else in there!), and he 's somehow always filthy so there's some work involved with grooming him. Things to know: Make appointments by phone. The front door is locked since Eric only sees dogs by appointment and is often alone in the back, working with a dog, so you can't just walk in. Eric either answers right away or calls you back shortly. There are a few dedicated parking spots behind The French Groomer so you can always get a spot.

    FLO'S HAPPY CLIPPER
My two peekapoos have been going to Flo's for about a year now. Flo's has yet to disappoint me. I've been very happy with their service and I think they are great. It's not the most luxurious place in the world - it's a no nonsense small local biz. The kind of business I like supporting. As far as I can tell, they are good to their canine clients. My pups always come out looking great and happy. Flo's gets pretty busy on Saturdays so call ahead to check on availability. Most of all, I think their services are reasonably priced relative to other groomers in the area. It's a good value.
