    They're quick. They seemed to be professional. They don't keep you overnight anymore. You're in and out in one day. They contact you the next morning to follow-up and see how you're doing. They're clean. Over the past 20 years, they have been adding and modernizing it.

    I had a very negative experience with Riverview Medical Center. They kept me at the hospital much longer than I felt they should have. The staff was very unprofessional and very inattentive to patient needs. It seems as though they were only interested in making money.

    Jersey Shore Medical Center had a complete protocol because the Hospital had just opened a wing paid for by a benefactor. His condition was that they had to hire an entire heart team. I was in a brand new unit with maybe only a year of operation. This was 14 years ago so I cannot say what it is like today.

    They sent a wire with a little bead of radiation through a tube inserted in to the prostate. This was done by a robot and they controlled it from another room. My PSA level is now 0.04 when it was 6.9. After the surgery there was follow-up radiation for 28 days. I saw Dr Sim or his staff every day. The treatment was done extremely well. The transport from treatment to the room was poor. They transferred me from one bed to another and injured me, which I couldn't feel because of the epidural. I was due to be released from the hospital at 2pm. At 11 pm I had to send my wife to find a nurse to remove the IV or I was going to leave with it. Then they gave me a prescription for painkillers; the hospital pharmacy was closed and there are no pharmacies open at 11pm! The communication was terrible.

    My husband and I went to the E/R as he was experiencing heart attack symptoms. After a very short wait, we were seen by a triage nurse and taken to a bed. We were impressed with the efficiency and level of care. The results of tests were given quite promptly, and my husband was treated and very quickly started to feel better. Overall, the entire visit did not take much more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We have experienced much longer wait times in other hospitals. We also were seen and treated very quickly about a year ago when my son experienced a soccer injury.

    Last May I was transferred to Jersey Shore Medical from Bayshore Hospital, and I was essentially dumped into the facility. I arrived in between shifts, and no one stepped up to take care of me. It took for ever to get any attention. This was an unfortunate experience, and I hope the Jersey Shore gets it's act together so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

    It was an excellent experience. The staff that saw me was professional, prompt, and attentive. They did the best to make me comfortable and to complete my needs. The billing process was swift. The hospital was very busy at the time but they handled my needs well.

    My daughter had an asthma attack and we had to take her to the emergency room. They gave her a nebulizer treatment. They took us in immediately and did a good job too. They were very calming. It's really nice to have people around who know what they are doing especially when you have a kid and are worried about your kid. So, my experience over there was very positive.

    Riverview Hospital in my opinion is a very fine hospital. They provide good services and the quailty of the work is very good. It is a top notch hospital and they minimize waiting time. They also have very nice manner with patients and family. I have never had a bad experience with Riverview Hospital.
