The technician was on time. He went over the whole oven and got it running again. He gave me options to go over- as his fix was a temporary one. I needed to replace a part. Once I gave the ok- they ordered the part and was back in less than a week to replace it. I highly recommend them.

I had Horizon come out to do an AC tune-up. The service technician recommended replacing the blower capacitors and installing a clear trap that can be easily cleaned. I spent $455 for this visit. I was happy with the service provided. Two weeks later my AC stopped working on a Sunday. After originally scheduling an appointment for Monday night, I got a call later on Sunday to let me know that an available technician was in my area. The issue ended up being a dead blower motor. I was quoted $900 for the replacement. The technician determined that he had a replacement motor on the truck so he could perform the work on this visit. Although overall I'm happy with the work and quick service, I can't help feeling that $900 was too much for a replacement motor and 1 hour of labor. From my research, most people seem to pay half that. The original pump is available at most places for around $250. I asked for the model number of the new pump but it doesn't look like the technician wrote it down.

I usually use Sears but thought Iwould give a local guy a try- I was so sorry I did. I asked for the first apt
of the day as my son works nights and would have to stay awake and wait for
him. I was promised the first appt and that the repair guy could be at my home
by 8 am - Perfect! I agreed to this only to have him finally show up at 10 am.
They charged the $ 89 plus tax to come out and tell me my icemaker was broken
then wanted $ 180 for the part and another $ 90 to install it.  Not applying any of the $89 to any of this. Also
they said the part was on back order for 2 weeks. At this point I said never mind. I know that icemaker pops into place very easily.  I went online to Sears parts- got the part I needed for $ 110 including shipping, had it at my home in 3 days and put it in
myself. Sears even has videos to show you how. Go there not here.

I have been a repair customer of Johnnie's for several years, they were never the cheapest but always thought Woody did a good job. I just called for a warranty repair of my gas range and was curtly told that since I did not buy it from them they would not service it. No way to treat an exisiting customer, I will not be back.

For a 9 AM appointment, the technician showed up at 12 PM. The service call was %99. The technician misdiagnosed the problem even though I told him what the problem was - a) he over-filled the system with refrigerant at $72/lb (x3 lb). This had to be later corrected by a different company.
    3. Replaced the run capacitor for $47. This was unnecessary given that the problems was with the fan motor and not the capacitor. The technician left after 30 minutes and charged me $95 for labor. Overall, I paid close to $500 that day. I would have been content had it not been for the fact that the problem was not solved and the fan stopped the next day. After repeated calls, they agreed to send another technician. This one came to the house, flipped the breaker, and when the fan started he left without fixing anything. Surprise, surprise, the fan stopped ten minutes after he left. This was a Friday morning. I called the company again but I was told they don't work over the weekends. After a weekend without AC, they came on Monday at which point I insisted that they change the fan motor and nothing else. They charged me $325 for the motor and labor.
Although the problem was fixed at this point, I felt uncomfortable with the work they have done so I called another company to come and take a look. Surely, the new company (highly rated on Angie's list), had to remove 1.25 lb of refrigerant and some more work to fix the mess they left behind. My advice - Stay away from Longlane - even if it is the only one available for the work - you are better off waiting for someone else that knows their stuff.

He did a nice job, had him come out for the second time because it wasn't fix the first time. They're fast, very knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. Their price seemed pricy to me but I don't really know the done rate is.

The guy comes in driving a car (not a service van). He said it was a circuit board that was broken and he said that he replaced the circuit board and it should work. I started a load of laundry and it was broken like it was before he came. I called immediately after I found out that is was not working. They came back a week later, same car (not a service van) and same guy and said he fixed it again - it which he did not. The have multiple phone numbers, multiple names, they even have a number that is from Arizona. The cashed my check and have been impossible to get a hold of since. I feel violated and ripped off. I am going to seek legal help for the matter. I do not recommend the company to anyone. BEWARE!!!

I gave the company a call on 30 May to request an appointment to have my washing machine repaired. I provided him with all the symptoms/error codes I was encountering and asked if he knew what the problem could be. He said he couldn't be sure until he looked at the machine. I requested an estimate and he said that his service charge and he said $70.00 and that it would be applied to the repair order. He came the next day during a time which we mutually agreed probably wouldn't work and told my wife (who was leaving to run errands) and would not accede to my wife's request to come back in an hour.
He then told my wife that it would only take him 10-15 minutes because he knew what the problem was. He replaced the water pump in 10 minutes and charged us $300.00. I have looked up price of the water pump online and found that it sells for $55 - $100 dollars from many sources.
Basically, I feel that ACME 'robbed' us by charging $300.00 for a $100.00 - $50.00 part. No complaints about the repair job but I would not use this company for any repair job again.

This was a great experience. I called on a Wed to make the appt, he offered to come out Thursday if not prevented by a snow storm coming our way. When he couldn't make it on Thursday due to the weather, he called me first thing on Friday to see if he could come out & was there within an hour of the call. The entire appointment did not take much time at all. He was polite, conscientious, and accommodating. Happy to squeeze past things I couldn't move myself. He made sure that I understood exactly what had happened, what might have caused it and that I was fully informed of what steps he was taking to repair our dryer. He made sure to tell me before he left to call if anything further went wrong as he guarantees his work.
