    Dr. Chi is great with the kids and parents.
    Unfortunately his staff is beyond discourteous and you will wait a looong time
    after your scheduled appointment time before you are seen (while being exposed
    to the other germs in the waiting room). Dr. Chi answers his own calls
    after hours, which is a plus.
    I spoke directly with Dr. Chi the morning he saw my son at about 8:15 AM.
    He offered me three available appointment times, from which I selected 10:45
    AM. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was left waiting
    FOR HOURS. I approached the receptionist (Ashley) and she said that I
    and quot;don't have a real appointmentand quot; and that I should have called after 9
    AM to get a and quot;realand quot; appointment. I asked her how I would know to
    call after 9 AM since Dr. Chi just scheduled me 45 minutes before and mentioned
    nothing about calling back for a and quot;realand quot; appointment. Her
    response was that I should and quot;just knowand quot; since I've been there
    before. Beyond rude was the other receptionist and quot;Heatherand quot; who
    couldn't help but point out no one else is complaining about waiting for
    hours. When I asked why people that showed up after me with later
    appointments had gone ahead of me, she said that little girl's cough sounded
    bad (so did my son who was diagnosed with croup (or laryngotracheobronchitis) -
    AND had the earlier appointment!!). Heather told me to take my son's
    records and go to another doctor if I did not like waiting for hours. She
    even threatened to have me thrown out because I was trying to get my child seen
    hours after his scheduled appointment. I resigned to say that I would put
    my complaint in writing directly to Dr. Chi and asked for her last name.
    She said, and quot;My last name is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!and quot;
    After finally having my son seen and receiving an Rx for a steroid inhaler for
    the croup, I need the statement/receipt for the office visit so I can submit it
    as an expense to my flexible spending account. Heather said that she
    and quot;can't do it right nowand quot; and that she would send it in the mail (every
    office I've ever been to has provided that on the spot). It was obviously
    more passive aggressiveness on her part.
    In summary, in spite of Dr. Chi's bedside manner, his staff leaves you feeling
    worse when you leave than you felt upon arrival.

    We started to go to Skylands last year after moving to the area. My children have not been seen by the same doctor as there are many doctors in the group. This may be acceptable to some, but as a parent I look for my children's doctor to have good knowledge of them and every time they see them, it's like they're just meeting them for the first time.
    Two months ago we took my son to them due to a small lump in his neck and we were told not to worry about it because it was only a Lymph Node. Last week my son goes to the specialist and has an MRI. We found out its a cyst or tumor on his Poratid Gland that needs to be treated.
    Three days ago we take him to be seen because he was pale, running fevers, sore throat, nausea, and very weak. They send him home with Musinex and tell us it's Post Nasal Drip...REALLY? that night as he got worse, I took him to the ER, where he was diagnosed with the flu and had to get fluids pumped into him.
