  We called Your Home's Best Friend originally for a ceiling repair after an upstairs bathroom leak. But as soon as Eric walked in the door, his extensive knowledge about home repair/improvement was evident and we ended up hiring him for a number of things that had been on the "to-do" list or "wish list" of our older home for many years. He repaired and painted walls and doors, hung a ceiling fan, replaced a bathroom faucet, repaired a compromised area of another (plaster) ceiling, and repaired a kitchen drawer that had been unusable for months. His professionalism, meticulousness and talent shone through in every completed task in our home and we cannot recommend him highly enough. (We have already enlisted him ourselves for a kitchen remodel.)

  After having renovated my bathroom, Rich and his helper Carlos remodeled my late-1950s kitchen in the spring of 2018. The sink, appliances, cabinets, and lighting were all removed and replaced. Wall tile was installed, and wood panel flooring was installed. It was a project that I had put off for many years out of concern for finding a satisfactory contractor. I cannot imagine having found a better team to renovate my kitchen and bathroom, They were conscientious, detail-oriented, courteous, professional, and earned my trust from the first day. The quality of their work was superb and they communicated with me any changes or challenges that they encountered. Being an older home, there were many unforeseen conditions due to the age of the house that had caused uneven walls and ceilings. Rich was able to rectify and accommodate for these irregularities while installing the cabinets, the flooring, replacing an entry door and the wall back splash. I highly recommend Rich for a high quality renovation work around your home.

  Complete Design Industries

  Alan came on a Friday to look at what we wanted to have redone in our living room, kitchen , and bathroom. He gave us several options on what we could do as well as explained the different pricing involved. He answered all of our questions and explained everything in detail. He and his crew came the following Monday to start work. He finished everything on time and very much to our satisfaction. We are extremely happy with his work and have recommended him to friends and family. Some, of which have used him since then. His work is top notch and if he doesn't answer the phone right away, he definitely calls back before the end of the day...even on weekends (we called and left a voicemail the following Saturday morning to ask him a question about the tile in the bathroom and Alan called back a couple of hours later). Overall, we had a great experience with him and are planning to use him again to finish our basement when the time comes.

  All I can say is Wow!  From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a better experience.  Francois from A-1 Remodeling is truly on top of his game.  He was an absolute professional throughout my project and I couldn't be more satisfied with the final results.  I had my bathroom remodeled, some mouldings installed, a bit of painting, and a window replaced.  The budget was clearly explained and we came in right where I wanted to be.  I would definitely use Francois and A-1 Remodeling again on future projects and would highly recommend his company!

  This is a difficult review to write for two reasons.  The first is because I am so busy enjoying my incredible ?new? home that I hate to take the time to do anything else.  The second is I truly hope I express myself well enough to give Dominick the best review that he has ever gotten ? only fair since he has given our family a space better than we could have imagined.  I met with several contractors over a year?s time and there was always something that I just wasn?t comfortable with.  Not so with Dominick.  From our initial meeting and throughout the entire process, Dominick has been a top-notch professional, embracing our vision as if it were his own; seriously, he was more particular than I would have been in several instances.  He and his crew are skilled and proficient, and even when we ran into some large and some small old house issues, they were not phased, not delayed, and our daily lives were disrupted far less than I anticipated.   The result of their outstanding work ethic turned a long-awaited project into a new lifestyle for our family.  To say that I would recommend Dominick and D&J Construction is an understatement.   After this extraordinary experience, I am not exaggerating when I say I would not want to work with anyone else and am more than happy to speak with anyone considering hiring D&J.  Thank you sounds so small compared to the large impact Dominick, Gilbert and Jeff have had on our lives, but we are thankful for their hard work and dedication to their craft.  We are blessed and filled with joy in our ?new? home.

  The experience was great. They start on time and are very professional. They are perfectionists. They leave the work area spotless. They dealt with everything that came up. They had to move the gas line to accommodate the new stove. They know what they are doing. They also put in a new water line for the refrigerator ice-maker. They had to disconnect all appliances in the kitchen and laundry room to give us a quality floor installation. They were great. The kitchen is beautiful.
