I was given the impression that my recovery would be speedy. It was not & I felt I was misled. I understand that every patient's recovery is going to be different. But to be told that I could be back to work within 3-4 days was ridiculous.  I couldn't even drive myself for 2 weeks. I don't think anyone would be able to drive or get back to work that quickly. I feel it would have been more honest of the the doctor to give me the worst case scenario so that I could have been more prepared. I have 2 young kids to care for and I wasn't prepared to not be able to care for them for that long. I also was expecting to be able to prepare for Christmas but that wasn't possible either!  If I had a better idea of how long my recovery might be I would have scheduled it at a better time. *** Then, since my recovery was very slow even into 8 weeks, Dr Zimmerman recommended I have another surgery to remove the scar tissue. I opted not to & instead revved up the Physical Therapy and am almost fully recovered now (after 6 months).  The best part of my experience was that the office staff was very good and very friendly.

    Foot & Ankle Care Associates
I was very satisfied with the care that I received. They took x-rays to ensure that there was no fracture or broken bones. Because I had sharp pain in my foot (when I apply weight on it), they set a soft cast on my foot so I can walk without discomfort. I am scheduled for a follow-up visit to remove the cast.

English is not my first language so please keep that in mind.
Don't come to this hospital to give birth!
4 hours of labor and the doctor came into the room twice for about a minute each time, one nurse and I did the entire labor process. After 3 hours of labor with no progress and my wife almost unconscious from the exhaustion the doctor said "lets try 1 more hour". I looked at my wife and told the doctor that I didn't think my wife could do another hour yet he insisted again, I got up and told the doctor we are not trying a sec don't matter what he thinks and that we wanted a c section.
The doctor who performed the c section said there was no way my son was coming out without the c section because he was positioned looking up and was 8.5 lbs. So they made my wife go thru 4 hours of labor for absolutely nothing! If they cared for just one second all of this could have been avoided without any pain but how can a doctor know anything if they don't even come into the room while labor is in progress. Absolute failure to the max.
The doctor who performed the c section spoke with me briefly and advised me that he will look into the absence of other doctors who were on duty. After the c section a hospital pediatrician asked my wife if she wanted to breast feed, my wife was so exhausted after 4 hr labor and the surgery that she couldn't even talk, but since we wanted the best for our son we said we will try to breast feed.
(Now this is the best part) Since this was our first child the hospital pediatrician advised us that it may take 2 or 3 days before breasts start producing milk and that we had to try daily in order to stimulate the breast to produce milk. One day went by no milk, I asked for formula and the pediatrician said that we have to try more breast feeding before we go to a formula because the baby wouldn't take breast milk if we give him formula. 2 days went by and no milk and at this point 2 days old infant didn't have a drop of milk in his mouth and the pediatrician is telling us that we have to try more breast feeding because that's the protocol for breast feeding.
At the end of day two my infant son cried 4 hours straight because he was starving! and the pediatrician or nurses did not even suggest to give him some formula or water. Since we're first time parents we had no idea what to do, I asked one of the nurses if we could give him some water because his mouth was so dry after 2 days of screaming and crying he couldn't close it, the nurse said that water isn't good for an infants trying to breast feed. So now 2 full days went by and my 2 days old infant son had absolutely not a single drop of anything in his mouth and the doctors and nurses are telling us to continue trying to breast feed.
At this point I went absolutely bonkers on the entire staff at the hospital and 10 seconds later a nurse brought us 4 bottles of baby formula. My infant son was so hungry I though he's going to swallow the entire bottle and the pediatrician said "ohh that's normal".
All each doctor and each nurse kept on telling us is that they have to follow protocol for breast feeding but nobody took into consideration that an infant didn't eat a drop for 2 full days. The main reason that was explained to us was that an infant will not take breast milk if we give him formula but after a week of formula feeding my wife started producing breast milk and the kid eats it up like there's no tomorrow. So their entire starving infants protocol is false!
These doctors are so into their protocol they forgot that 2 full days went by and an infant had no food of any any kind in his system. These doctors would have starved my kid to death in order to follow some protocol, the entire staff at the hospital had their faces in their computer screens, walking like robots without and humanity left in them.
It's absolutely beyond me how this hospital is still open, it's beyond me how dumb and stupid these doctors are with their computer screens following their computer generated protocols. I will never in my life go back to this hospital and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Grade F is nothing, this hospital and the staff should get a Z!
If this is how most hospitals operate in US than I guess I should move to Canada or something.
    F,F pushing another F!

    Perkari, Dr. Vesantha K
Dr. Perkari cares and takes time with her patients. Everybody in the office is really helpful. Whenever we have an emergency, they try to fit us in somehow, on the same day.
