I spoke with several people from the company. All were very responsive and knowledgable. I had George assigned to my job and he was right on time and did a top notch job. I would definitely hire again.

    Ed's Handyman Service
Ed was as pleasure to work with on the projects at my house. His workmanship was top notch and his pricing was very fair as well. He was punctual and when the projects were done, it looked like he was never there(clean up was spot less). I would definitely use Ed again in future and recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman.

Out of the list of jobs given to the contractor, most were not completed because of small parts being needed (all major parts were provided). I feel if it was on their $30/hr time frame they probably would have been able to fix everything. BECAUSE this was a gift for my sister, she was not able to pay for more time, she is very upset with how the main things she needed completed were not. She still cannot use her downstairs bathroom.

The worker showed up and took 1 hour to walk through the house to "see" what needed to be done from the list provided. Why is this done on the same day as work is to be done?  How is anything supposed to get done if all they tell you need more parts, which you cannot do when you have someone working in your house and things are supposed to be done within a certain time limit?

I was told by (Stephen, owner) how much it would cost : low end range was 600 to 750 and high end range was 850 to 900 area. It ended up being close to 1250 (minus the 15 for materials).
Additionally they were not able to get to replace the toilet seats which i did myself. They also did not get to the final painting in most rooms due to lack of paints i had, which i did myself. This could have been avoided if the handyman was smart enough to point out first thing in the morning when he took stock of the materials. Also there was not touch up required in master bedroom. Reduced scope and more than estimated.Water filter was not removed as well from kitchen.
    Good responsiveness, good in punctuality.
Handyman Anthony arrived on time and we spent about 45 mins making sure we had all the materials. he advised me to get some materials which were missing while he worked on the items. he did a great job with building the under sink. He could have been faster with paint and spackle jobs. My biggest complain was that after 45 mins of consulting first thing when he arrived he still missed out the fact that the paint i had was not good and rusted and unusable. He could have easily pointed this out during the 45 mins consultation and that would have given me enough time to get the right paint as that was the last thing done.
i feel paint jobs are better of left for handyman who quote you flat rates, as there is a lot of time that can be wasted here and you might end up losing if charged hourly.

Larry Pryor Home Improvement and Repair Specialist
He came in and completed a job that was incomplete, which is difficult to do. He returned my calls rather quickly. He had to postpone due to a sickness in the family which is understandable, but came back.

    Tony Le Contracting
Tony was meticulous and neat in his work.  Several walls and doorframes were damaged and had to be prepped/repaired prior to being painted.  I am very, very pleased with the work.
I never had to worry about coming home to a mess and never had to worry that the work would not be done well.
He is patient and based on our discussion of the work I always felt confident that I could trust his judgement.   He is a creative guy and I liked being able to discuss solutions.
I felt his pricing was very reasonable and I felt very comfortable that he was being honest about cost and pricing.   He told me that since I picked a color that was close to the current one, that would save me some money.

    Steve's Handyman Service
I can't say enough good about Steve. The cleaning he did was backbreaking work in filthy conditions. It would have been understandable if he had refused this job due to the amount of dirt, etc., but instead he worked very hard and took pride in what he did. He was always on time and cheerful and made intelligent suggestions. He never slacked off and did an outstanding job cleaning the appt. and running the errands. I am sure I have forgotten some adjectives but Steve is the very best and you would be lucky to hire him.

I needed a piece of siding nailed back up near the peak of the house. I called to see if they could do the job that week since we were leaving for vacation on Saturday. They said they were booked, but if it was ok, they may be able to get someone out late afternoon one day. They were able to come and did the job late afternoon as promised.

Cyndi was prompt. I made the mistake of not getting pricing up front - this was very stupid of me - first time I am hiring someone. The cost was $68 an hour. Afterwards I googled handyman fees and the average fee is much lower. Now I suspect this is becuz Cyndi has other skills - so I should not have hired her for the rather small jobs I had. Some complaints: *She did not completely tighten the furniture - it was still loose. So the furniture should have been turned over and all four sides tightened. *Powder room paint job - a bit sloppy. Generally the work felt a bit sloppy.

Ed returned my call promptly, gave me an accurate idea of what to expect, and fixed my door perfectly. Very professional demeanor. I would definitely use his services again.
