  • It is a belated review of another outstanding job performed by Stoneshop! From start to finish - these guys are true pros. The quality of their work is always top notch! Our kitchen looks amazing! Thank you Rich, Alyssa, Rob and Jeff!

  • Phenomenal kitchen island transformation that left us speechless! Carm did such an amazing job painting and glazing our dark cherry kitchen island with a lot of panels, drawers, ornate details etc. The island now matches the rest of the kitchen cabinets that are off-white. What a transformation! Beautifully done! Carm is an artist, very talented, true-pro and has a terrific personality! Thank you again Carm! We look forward to future projects, K

  • We had Rocke Construction add a kitchen/mudroom addition to the rear of our house. The rear addition was 12? x 30? to extend the kitchen and open it up. They also extended the side of the house for a mudroom. They designed a new kitchen for us and matched the hardwood flooring with the existing house. The cabinets look great and we could not be happier. They had to install a 20? steel beam to hold up the rear of the house for the addition and it went very smooth. They installed hardi plank siding on the addition and patched in the cedar shingle roof also. The job was a little over schedule, but due to weather mostly. They were kind throughout the process and always watched out for our dog. The experience was great, the attention to detail was amazing and their guidance for all materials and layouts was the best part of the project. I would recommend Rocke for any project, large or small. They also finished our basement. Just a basic basement with installing a egress window also. The walls and ceilings were drywalled. The flooring was carpet. A powder room was installed also. Tile floor and basic fixtures. The project was easy and Rocke had supervision on site for both projects every day.

  • Rocke construction was contracted to complete a master bed/bath project for us. We has a master bedroom/bath and a single bedroom existing that we wanted turned into a total master suite. The framed the new areas as needed. It gave us 2 massive closets that we needed for our clothes. Floors were refinished (existing oak with patchwork needed due to walls being moved). We had a full remodel on the bathroom. We had a new stand up shower with bench installed with Jacuzzi tub. The shower was not a standard one. We did not want a curb to step over so Rocke lowered the floor and structurally fixed the floor to lower the wet bed for the tile so that the tile in the shower and the tile in the bathroom was the same height. We installed frameless glass and a custom double vanity. Tile was on floors, tub deck and front, up the walls 4? and even framed the tile around the 2 windows we had. I really made the space. They were courteous, professional and great with guidance for the project layout, materials, etc. The door we installed on the bathroom was a custom etched ??? frameless glass on barn door hardware outside the bathroom.

  • Dan was professional, patient and really looked over the job thoroughly.  His estimate was well-prepared and he took into account that I wanted to try to do some work myself to save money.  Unfortunately, I went with someone else because I had a very limited budget and the other contractor was lower in cost.  I believe working with him would have been a more positive experience though and woudl definitely call him for a future project.

  • This is the first time I used Angie's list and I was a big nervous hiring someone I didn't know.

Frank did a wonderful job, he is very detailed oriented. He added crown molding to the top of my front door, he finished the trim on the side of my staircase that was left unfinished when the wood floor was put in. Frank also caulked the wainscoting going up my stairs. Frank also finished off some trim work that was improperly installed by another contractor. I would most definitely hire Cousin Vinnies Home Improvement again (which I may have to). I have lots of projects that need to be finished and I would not hesitate to call them.

Frank always arrived on time, worked consistently and effectively and gave me some great ideas. The price was fair and the job got done. This process is easier than I expected.

Anyone looking for a reference, I would absolutely recommend Cousin Vinnies!

  • Vinnie gave the estimate. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and on time.  We got the estimate a day or two later and it was less than $4700 that was the final cost to Cousin Vinnies, but we opted for cement board in the tub area and had subflooring replaced. This involved more time, more labor . All of this work went well.  Lou did most of the work on this job. He was also knowledgeable and experienced. he removed the old bathroom and  brought it outside. Many of the studs in the bathroom were bowed and not  straight. Lou took care of that.  The tub which is 5 feet wide was being installed in a space that was slightly smaller than that. Again another issue that Lou took care of. When the tub was first installed it creaked. From what I understand this is a common problem with Americast tubs. Again, Lou took care of it. Experience, experience. Lou then tiled the bath tub area with a beveled subway tile with a recessed niche in the wall, also 2 glass shelves. After that everything went as planned. For whatever reason, Lou wasn't able to finish the job. Vinnie promptly sent over another installer/plumber"Vinnie" to complete the job.
Vinnie gives you a list of material that is needed for the job. Give yourself plenty of time  to get everything. some of the things we wanted were special order and didn't come in when expected. We spent $3000 for material, coupled with $4700 with Cousin Vinnies, that makes our bath $7700. This was only half of what some of the other estimates were. We bought good quality material and Cousin Vinnies did an excellent job of remodeling our bath. We waited a month before we made this review to see if there were any surprises i.e. leaks, fixture issues, etc.  and there were none.  We got our  moneys worth.  When the time comes, we will use them again..

Cintex did a great job on our shore property!  They performed a total interior demolition, installed a new kitchen and bath, and tiled all floors. Also Vince replaced all of ours doors, and trim. The place now looks so good that my wife insisted that we buy all new furniture!

  • I cannot say enough good things about this company but will try.I prefer to purchase my own fixtures and just pay for the install.when I purchased my frameless glass shower doors I realized not a lot of people had experience in installing them. Until I found this company...no problem they tackled that job easy piesey..so I also jhad them install 2 console bathroom sinks which included reinforcing the wall to hold the weight of the wall mount sink.both sinks look awesome.next they installed a simple  cove molding in two of my bedrooms which makes such huge difference.the molding added so much character to the rooms.then they put the skirting inder my deck and a finishing edge deck around my sunroom. they work nonstop and in an very organized way.everyone knows what they are supposed to do and they get it down.

you will not be disappointed if you hire this company.they will be back at my house and they will be the first one I call for everything I need in the future...

    thanks Joey.Joe and Tyler

  • Let me start by saying the people at Kitchen Magic are very friendly and kind. I have no issue with them at all. A lovely sales person came out and did all our measurements for a Cambria countertop. I had done previous research and knew a ballpark of where the price should be quoted. (3000-5000$ depending on the place) When all was said and done they gave me a quote of almost $9000. After I picked my jaw off the floor I explained that  we weren't looking to spend that much. She told me how they were the best in the business, and knocked off a bunch of money for "discounts" that would only be included if we signed the contract today. We now had the price down to $6300 (still too much). We politely declined. We then went out the same day and signed a contract for the EXACT SAME PRODUCT from a REPUTABLE DEALER for $3000. They seem like very  nice people, but the price was just insane!
