    The experience was excellent from the original visit for an estimate to the completion of the work. Once we confirmed the go-ahead we were given a date for the work and it was met. When the work commenced until it was finished, we had no interruption to those services that were being replaced, the workers were very professional and there wasn't an item to be cleaned up. In addition they ensured that the new services operation were understood. Overall extremely pleased that we selected Friedrich Heating & Air Conditioning INC.

    They got it running and cleaned out around the compressor. They even fixed condensation tube. Those parts were a good service. They however missed the bigger picture which was it was pretty much almost dead. It was nice that they got it working for a few days, but when we needed a new system a week or so later, it felt like the first visit was wasted money.

    They are a big company. They advertise on TV, so they're not a Joe Schmoe. They were fine. I thought they were a little pricey, but they give you all this stuff supposedly for free. They check this, that and the other. Every company is expensive. They were nice and friendly. They were right there on time. That's the big thing in their TV commercials, if we're not on time, it's free. They go on this big thing, all our workers are clean cut and courteous. He was fine. Not that I care that much if they're clean cut and courteous. I just want to get the daggon thing fixed. I could care less, do the job, I don't care. Those clothes cost me an arm and a leg. He was on time. If he wasn't, it would have been for free. This is the thing, when I say pricey, they get you there and they'll sign you up and they'll come out all the time to check everything, so it ended up, the whole thing was like $700, but it included them coming out an checking before the next heating season that everything's working properly and all that sort of nonsense.

    When I awoke this morning to strange noises coming from my gas furnace, I first muttered an expletive, and then called Friedrich's. (they installed the current furnace and AC 11 years ago) I called the office at 7:30AM, left a message detailing the problem. Got a call back at 8AM was asked if 10AM would be convenient for me for service. Paul, the serviceman arrived at 9:55AM, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had to go back to the shop in Pitman (next town over) to get the needed furnace motor, returned quickly, and by 11AM the heat was back on, running so quiet I could hardly hear it! While inside the furnace he also cleaned the flame sensor, which over the years had gotten very dirty (laundry room lint), so that avoided another service call when the furnace would have shut down from the dirty and inoperative sensor. A quality job by Friedrich's, as always! Note from 11 years ago: They replaced my furnace the next day after the initial call. Then when my "builder's model" central AC "blew up" on Memorial Day weekend, they were here first thing in the morning after the holiday and replaced the AC. Now, that's service!!

    With the scope and amount of work that was performed, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to miss describing some of the amazing work that Joey and his company provided during this remodel.  This was a big project and I pride myself on due diligence when planning and hiring the right company to ensure a successful outcome.  I had multiple companies come out to discuss the project and provide estimates.  Dixie THM was the company that stood out significantly during this process.  Walk throughs and estimates with the bigger companies were cold and clinical.  The scope and work they offered to perform and possible problems that might arise were vague and worrisome.  Joey on the other hand pleasantly surprised me with genuine interest and excitement about taking on a project of this size.  His communication style is honest and transparent.  No hidden agendas here.  We discussed problems that other contractors had pointed out which were large in scope and costly.  He was very informed about the newest industry standards and dismissed most of these labor intensive and costly problems as an unnecessary offering the latest, alternative and highly innovative ways to address these concerns.  Joey's style is to be collaborative with alternative options and ideas while giving you exactly what you ask for.  Some of the ideas were amazing with the newest tech and innovations.  As a typical homeowner I wasn't even aware that Many of these innovations were even available.  It was exciting to see the project take new directions as he suggested the latest ways of doing things.  If you're looking for short cuts and work arounds, don't use this company.  Joey insists on doing things the right way.  This was one of the things I appreciated most.  During the life of the project Joey identified unexpected structural concerns and other related issues that were fixed properly and to code.  His communication during every step of the project was fantastic.  Joey did everything including construction, electrical, plumbing, painting, Kitchen build, Shower build, tile flooring, and aesthetics.  His main concern during the entire project  was to make sure that my wife and I were happy with the results, which we were.  The project lasted about 6 months and we couldn't be happier with the results.  I also asked him to do some extra projects during the time which ended up with the same amazing results.  I had him finish a basement room, install an inground Pool filter pump, install a fence gate, and run additional electric.  When we asked for changes he never hesitated to comply.  Joey's engagement to the project remained constant throughout.  He strives to give a quality product at a fair price.  Both of which we received.  This company is old school.  No hidden surprises.  No shortcuts.  Quality work with a respectful and pleasant crew.  I also liked how his company operates with billing.  You pay a set labor fee and you select the materials.  I found this to be good as I was able to select the exact materials that I wanted.  Joey always offered to pick up anything that I purchased.  I've finally found my one stop provider for all future needs.  I fully recommend him and his company if you have a project you care about.  My wife and I couldn't be happier with the results.

    How'd it go?  It went TERRIFIC!  Bill and his son are very nice, very pleasant.  Very careful of the homeowner's property.  Put drop cloths down.  Was able to get the old units out of the basement and out the backyard in a town home development that wasn't designed properly for rear access.  (Timbercrest Town Homes in Sewell proper.)  Was able to get the new equipment in the same way with minimal stress/exertion to them. 

    Did the job in two days, first the heat, and the following day the air conditioning.  This is a family business, father and son, and Debbie Edwards "mans" the phones!  Had no issue with that because they were accommodating other peoples' service calls and emergencies.  And I might wind up in that spot, you never know! 

    Bill and Debbie Edwards own the business, they both are gracious and very knowledgeable of their products.  I liked talking with Debbie so much that I said, I have to stop by and meet you.  And did.  The business is locally owned in Pitman, NJ, for many years.  Word of mouth and reputation carry them.  I have done business with another HVAC business for thirteen years, and felt this was the time and a better move for me and for my town home to go with the Edwards.  I believe the pricing is good for the product line.  I also believe Carrier provides an excellent warranty for their products, and look forward to many years of good service.  Would definitely recommend DeAngelo's HVAC Service to anyone!
