    Mike Little Flooring
I had another contractor rip up more than half of my home and quit. Mike was a saving grace by coming in to finish the job so I could live in my home comfortably again. However, when I opted to get the spare bedroom done it was a long process. Partly in part because I need to get more supplies. Ultimately my disappointment lies in the fact that the project was NOT finished with the same care that it was started with. I originally overlooked when a dresser was damaged during the original part of the project; but what I found today was beyond disappointing. I have attached the image of what I found behind the spare bedroom.

    Mike Little Flooring
Michael and his team did a great job. He worked with my limited schedule very easily and was very accommodating. He kept in contact through the whole process. He kept me informed of the status of my install. I felt very comfortable with Michael in my home and he was very polite. I would highly recommend them. Everything was clean and left as is when he was finished.

    Dixie Total Home Maintenance
With the scope and amount of work that was performed, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to miss describing some of the amazing work that Joey and his company provided during this remodel.  This was a big project and I pride myself on due diligence when planning and hiring the right company to ensure a successful outcome.  I had multiple companies come out to discuss the project and provide estimates.  Dixie THM was the company that stood out significantly during this process.  Walk throughs and estimates with the bigger companies were cold and clinical.  The scope and work they offered to perform and possible problems that might arise were vague and worrisome.  Joey on the other hand pleasantly surprised me with genuine interest and excitement about taking on a project of this size.  His communication style is honest and transparent.  No hidden agendas here.  We discussed problems that other contractors had pointed out which were large in scope and costly.  He was very informed about the newest industry standards and dismissed most of these labor intensive and costly problems as an unnecessary offering the latest, alternative and highly innovative ways to address these concerns.  Joey's style is to be collaborative with alternative options and ideas while giving you exactly what you ask for.  Some of the ideas were amazing with the newest tech and innovations.  As a typical homeowner I wasn't even aware that Many of these innovations were even available.  It was exciting to see the project take new directions as he suggested the latest ways of doing things.  If you're looking for short cuts and work arounds, don't use this company.  Joey insists on doing things the right way.  This was one of the things I appreciated most.  During the life of the project Joey identified unexpected structural concerns and other related issues that were fixed properly and to code.  His communication during every step of the project was fantastic.  Joey did everything including construction, electrical, plumbing, painting, Kitchen build, Shower build, tile flooring, and aesthetics.  His main concern during the entire project  was to make sure that my wife and I were happy with the results, which we were.  The project lasted about 6 months and we couldn't be happier with the results.  I also asked him to do some extra projects during the time which ended up with the same amazing results.  I had him finish a basement room, install an inground Pool filter pump, install a fence gate, and run additional electric.  When we asked for changes he never hesitated to comply.  Joey's engagement to the project remained constant throughout.  He strives to give a quality product at a fair price.  Both of which we received.  This company is old school.  No hidden surprises.  No shortcuts.  Quality work with a respectful and pleasant crew.  I also liked how his company operates with billing.  You pay a set labor fee and you select the materials.  I found this to be good as I was able to select the exact materials that I wanted.  Joey always offered to pick up anything that I purchased.  I've finally found my one stop provider for all future needs.  I fully recommend him and his company if you have a project you care about.  My wife and I couldn't be happier with the results.

    Rich's Rugs
If there was a grade higher than an A, Rich and his crew would get it.  Rich came out on a Monday night (after 7 to fit into my schedule) to take measurements and show me samples.  He was knowledgeable, friendly, and was very honest with his recommendations.  You can tell Rich enjoys what he does.  The experience got even better when his crew showed up to install the new carpet.  They were professional, quick and did an awesome job installing the new carpet.  His price was more than reasonable for the quality of the carpet and work. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

    Rich's Rugs
I used Rich because of his reviews and I was not disappointed.  He was awesome.  I left him a message in the morning and he got back to me later in the day.  He was actually able to come out the same day since he had time.  We were on the boarder of his service area and it was not a huge job.  I told him that if it wasn't worth his time to come out I would understand.  He quickly replied that every customer is worth his time no matter the job.  While doing the job Rich pointed out everything he was doing and helped me learn more about how to care for my home.  He was very passionate about his work.

    Rich's Rugs
Rich came out immediately to give me an estimate. He worked me in his schedule so the carpets would be done in time for my daughters wedding. He arrived with a big crew and got everything done in one day. They were professional and clean. Would definitely use Rich again.

Quality Carpets installed carpeting in our home in Oct. 2013 and we have never had carpet that looks this bad. We had been told that John Giorla would be doing our installation. When he and another man arrived, he said they were also doing another installation at a house down the street. One or two other men showed up a little later and after a while, I realized John was not here and the other men seemed to be doing the work.

We had another local flooring store install a laminate floor in our dining room in Aug. 2013. We had no idea they had installed the transition strips incorrectly until Quality installed the carpet. Contrary to what Mr. Graff says, at no time was I informed by any of Quality's installers that they were leaving us with a half inch gap under the wooden transition strip. This gap and the uneven floor surface are a safety hazard and in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act, as we have since learned.

Contrary to what Mr. Graff says, when the job was finished, the head installer John was nowhere to be found. One of the men asked me to call the store and take care of the balance owed so they could leave. He then asked me if I had looked at the carpet. Contrary to what Mr. Graff says, I proceeded to do a walk-thru on my own while two men waited in the living room. I did not see the gap initially because I had looked down at the doorway. I did not discover it until after they left, when I looked across the living room.

If the only problem had been with the gap under the transition strip, we would have paid Quality Carpets to make the repair. But we have a much bigger problem with discoloration throughout the entire carpet and installation errors. We were initially told by John that it looked like roll crush and should disappear within a few days. When it didn't, we called Mr. Graff and he said the manufacturer (Shaw) would have to send an inspector here. Several weeks later the inspection was done and we were informed that the problem was roll crush. Quality wanted to send someone here to steam the carpet. But because just about every square foot of the carpet would have to be steamed, we did not want all that heat and steam in our home. There was no guarantee it would work and we did not want to risk damaging anything else.

We began to notice other issues and in Jan. 2014 we had a certified flooring inspector do a thorough inspection of all the flooring installed by both stores. In addition to the extensive roll crush problem, she found numerous significant errors made by Quality Carpet's installers, some of which can be fixed and others that cannot. She confirmed that the padding had been cut too short on each step and in two of the doorways and found several protruding nails that would eventually tear through the carpet or cause injury to someone who stepped on them. She also discovered that the carpet had not been power stretched and securely attached to the tack strip and that is why the carpet had started to wrinkle. When Mr. Graff was notified of these installation errors, he chose to ignore them and continues to fixate on it being just a "minor roll crush problem", demanding that the resolution be on his terms.

Mr. Graff was never present at any time during the installation or during my conversations with the installer John. And despite what he says, he has never been to our home to look at the problems. When he says we have "ongoing problems with 3 others", we have no idea what he is stating. The only ongoing issues we have are with the two flooring stores who led us to believe they would install the flooring professionally and competently but failed to do so.

Mr. Graff has treated me with disrespect from the first time I notified him of the problems. He yelled and screamed at me so badly on the phone one afternoon that I had to hang up and that is the honest-to-God truth. He was angry over our negative review on Angie's List and threatened to sue us for slander. We then consulted an attorney and were advised that we are allowed to give an honest accounting of our experience with Quality Carpets on Angie's List. We were also advised by the attorney that we were supposed to receive a written contract, signed by both parties, instead of just the unsigned invoice we received.

We filed a complaint with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Mr. Graff responded to the investigator with numerous lies and inaccuracies and again refused to acknowledge any of the installation errors. He lied to the investigator and told her he had been in our home to look at the problems, but Mr. Graff was only in our home briefly on Oct. 8 to measure and was never in our home again. We reluctantly accepted his offer to return half of the amount we paid him. He kept about $1,000 of our money and we got carpet that looks like a dirty old piece of used and stained carpet in return.

We had never before heard of roll crush or had any problems with it in any of the carpeting jobs we've had done throughout the past 35 years of owning homes. We have lost the normal use of our home for months now and have been inconvenienced beyond description. We are disgusted that after spending about $2,000 for brand-new carpet, we are left with a home that is damaged and will now have to spend more money to have a certified installer tear out what Quality Carpets did wrong and install a new product correctly.

We would never want anyone to go through the nightmare we have been through. We are so sorry we ever chose to do business with Mr. Graff and Quality Carpets.

If I had to pick one word to describe this company, it would be EXCEPTIONAL.    From our first contact with Ed via email, the response was quick and professional.   He followed up with a phone call immediately to discuss our needs and set a time that would be convenient for us.  He gave us a price for the work we were requesting.   We received a confirmation phone call the night before the work was to be done.  The date of service, Ed was at our door 10 minutes ahead of schedule and his crew arrived several minutes later.   They were courteous, professional, and very careful when moving furniture.     Because of poor installation of our wall-to-wall carpeting less than 5 years ago,  it was buckling in several rooms.   When Ed and his crew were done, the carpets looked great.  No more "gopher tunnels".     We had an area rug cleaned as well and it looks fantastic and the old dog smell is gone!   Also, the cost of the carpet cleaning was less than what we were quoted on the phone.  That never happens.
We will definitely use them in the future for any carpet cleaning and/or repair needs we may require.    We will recommend them to our neighbors as well.    They went above and beyond what we expected in service and workmanship.   As stated above,  they were EXCEPTIONAL.
