Joe is a master pool technician. He returned my initial call promptly and spent a lot of time with me on the phone learning about my pool and what the problems were. Although he was scheduled a week out, he offered to come out the next day to get the pool back in shape for the holiday weekend. I didn't even insist on that, but he was thoughtful enough to offer. The next day I received a call from him that he was at my house and had fixed the problem with my heater. I asked him to see if he could see why air was in the intake lines, so he tells me he'll check and call me back. Twenty-five minutes later I get another call that he found the issue and fixed it also. Joe was very pleasant to talk to and an expert in his business. Great experience!

Excellent and professional service all the time. Extremely knowledgeable about servicing our older In-ground pool. Absolutely perfect weekly maintenance! Frank kept our pool swim-ready all summer and all we had to do was enjoy using it. A most dependable pool company for every service you may need.

Be aware rightfrom the start, that thecarpenter/sales person whomakes the sales pitch, whose carpentry skills you might trust/believe,may not be the one who does any work or supervision of your job. Our sales guy never returned afterthe project began. A completely new 'carpenter' is introduced to you and begins your job. We were left with an unknown carpenter, and two man crew ( no hablo)with unknown skills to do our remodel which included the install of expensive custom cabinets, crown & trim.

The first carpentry crew assigned to our job underperformed. (grade D) Seemed unprepared. They had no dumpster. The debris was piled high on back lawn, without any tarp underneath. I am still picking up sheetrock, tile chips, nails, etc. They used a van to transport refuse. They often didn't have the right materials. Found them using inadequate nailing patterns on the ceiling sheetrock (16" apart with fine thread screws) andinadequate screw patternson the 3/4 " subfloor, and hardiebacker. I had to watch them/supervise them for every aspect of the job. After several more problems witnessed, including a newly constructed door hallway opening that wasnot level at the top,and a soffit above the cabinets that was not level, asloppy install of apatio door, a grazedelectric wire,I requested the work stopped and a new crew. Monk'smanagement understood and provided a new crew that were much better. At my request, they made corrections toall of the mistakes of the first crew. Overall, this new crew did "B+" grade work. I had to ask thata few of theirerrors be fixedalso, but I was still happy with their work.

The price was good compared to other estimates, but I would not recommend them unless you know basic carpentry and you are there throughout the day to ensure that the job is done right.

I contacted them in the middle of the pool season because my liner was faded. I believe the representative that came to my house was Justin. I was sceptical because he was young. However, after talking to him he suggested I enjoy the little season I had left and contact them at the end of the summer. I had did so because he seemed like he wanted to help me more so than sell me a liner. I requested him back, and he came with some liner samples and explained the process to me. About a week after (earlier then had had told me) he had notified me that my liner had came in. In the middle of the job I was worried because the pool looked like a mess and had I had a lot of rust on my walls. After they did some patch work on the bottom, applied wall foam, and installed my liner. I was very happy. It was a perfect fit, their crew was very clean and helpful.

Just under 10 years ago, I had remodeled both our master and hall bathroom, installing new cabinets, counter sink fixtures, lighting, and wallpaper/paint.  I stopped short of tearing out the aging fiberglass tub and shower enclosures, as they really weren't in bad shape and the scope of the work was greater than my time availability and skill level would support. With another 10 years gone by, the showers were definitely showing their age, and needed replacing.  However, the challenge given JMC was to accomplish the shower replacement without disturbing any of the prior work, which was still in great shape.
In addition, after living with a tiny laundry room for 20+ years, we needed to replace our washer/dryer, and realized that modern appliances simply were not going to fit in our tiny space.  John came out and discussed options with us, and we arrived at a plan to knock out part of a wall, extend our space into the garage as well as under the stairs, and create a functional laundry room with modern full-size stacking washer and dryer.  Again, the complexities of the design and the required movement of various plumbing and electrical components made for a challenging project.
Sitting down with John MacDougall and his designer, we arrived at a great layout for the laundry.  Through the process, John helped us to stay within our budget and avoid extra costs. Selecting the tile, fixtures and finishes for the laundry and the showers was made substantially easier by JMC's showroom, where we could see samples, compare colors and arrive at our decisions. We signed our contract at the end of September 2015, but explained that we would be having house guests through the Christmas holiday.  As a result, demo and (re-)construction didn't start until later in January, which was fine with us. George, who had previously handled our basement remodel, came in to do the demolition and construction of the new laundry, and Mario handled each of the bathrooms.  The crew put down floor protectors and plastic curtains in order to contain as much as possible of the dust and mess.  Because we needed a working shower, the bathrooms were done sequentially, and then Barb was brought in to handle painting the bathroom, ceilings, the new laundry, and an upstairs bedroom we had added into the picture.
The results are spectacular!  Each of the bathrooms has been transformed into a stunner, and the new laundry is extremely functional. Mario is a perfectionist and an absolute artist with respect to the tile work and fixtures - his attention to detail was incredible. The paint work is also top notch.  This is my third project with JMC, and at this point I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else. I highly recommend JMC for whatever your remodeling needs are - John is extremely knowledgeable, his crew are all craftsmen in the truest sense of the word, and Jack (project manager) does a great job of keeping everything running smoothly.

The work began in April. Our pool is a Gunite pool so there was first some demolition and then the whole pool was resurfaced, retiled and some coping work was done. Alex's crew was very professional. They have all been with him for many years and the craftsmanship was exceptional. Our pool was ready as promised before the summer season began. The finished product is gorgeous! We enjoyed it this summer and look forward to many more summers in it! We also use Alex for weekly service, as well as open and close services and our pool is always in tip top shape! I recommend Alex and Pugliese Pool Service without hesitation!

Overall, it was a pleasure to deal with Lenny and his crew.  After calling to inquire about one of the Big Deal's, it was clear that would not be the best fit for me.  Lenny set up an appointment and after looking at the house, came up with a unique solution.  Rather then using the existing baseboard I had for the oil heat, Lenny proposed installing a new Trane system that would utilize the existing ductwork from the central a/c system.  As both the a/c unit and oil burner were 25 years old, it made sense to go with a new consolidated system.
The main system was installed in the attic and has two systems.  My oil system had an additional zone in the basement but the central air was not run to the basement.  Lenny's solution was to install a smaller furnace in the garage that heats both the finished basement as well as the garage.  Additional lines were also run to allow for future upgrades such as a gas stove, gas dryer and gas BBQ.
Lenny's crew came out on-time and worked tirelessly for three days, a couple of nights until 7 PM - a great work ethic on their part.  The system needed some minor tweaking to get it dialed in properly but once it was, it has been performing great.  The heat from the natural gas unit is strong and heats the house faster than the oil baseboard.
Lenny was always available with any questions I had, no matter the day of the week or the time of day.  He offered suggestions that I would not have thought of and took the time to fully explain the work being done as well as several options available.  It's rare to find customer service at the level Lenny and his crew have provided.

Got estimates from quite a few places.mid state was somewhere in the middle.
everybody there was great to work with. Great bonus getting an install from these guys - they save your water. They set up a few portable pools, and pumped my pool into these things.
the job took 2/3 of a day, and when they finished they had pumped all that saved water back into my pool.I just needed to top it off withabout 3 inches from my hose.

Went very smoothly. Had been to store to choose liner pattern and color. Liner came in quickly so work started a week later. Crew were very professional and prompt. Dug out old skimmer and tested line. Fortunately line was not the cause of the leak, so only a new skimmer unit needed. Pool emptying, repair of base layer and putting in new skimmer and concrete patch only took a couple of days. New liner put in with no problem. Clear instructions on what I needed to do in putting in new water level. Crew had cleaned up and Wayne had come out to inspect at the end of liner fitting.
I had never has pool liner replaced before so was quite nervous about it, but it all went well and the end result looks great. Would recommend.
