  • Rocco (the owner) responded to my call immediately and was at my house within an hour. He quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem. Fortunately it was nothing major and he was able to fix things without the need for parts or significant manpower - the fee was basically for the service call. His promptness and professionalism were much appreciated especially given the situation (no heat in the middle of winter). Since I had just recently moved into the house, he also took the time to walk through both of my HVAC systems and assess their condition. He inspected the units and ancillary parts and made some valuable suggestions regarding the existing humidifiers and duct work and the potential for adding air purification units. Within a couple of days, he provided me with an estimate of all the work we discussed with a detailed breakdown by project, so that I can implement things by priority and cost. I will be sure to follow up with RJA when I am ready to proceed.

  • Sina and his team did a fantastic job finishing our basement. This company truly cares about doing a good job for its customers. They arrived when they said they were going to arrive and did what they said they were going to do each day. They worked with all other contractors we needed -- plumbing, electrical, etc. -- and took charge of everything. Our project finished on time, and our basement is wonderful. Highly recommended

  • Allied was on time, did quality work and answered all of my questions along the way. Lenny took the time to walk me through all of the new systems installed as well as how to maintain each unit. Their price was competitive but I believe their service to be unmatched.

  • Great experience with Rob Jerdach. He was always prompt, polite, answered the 100 questions I had for him. Did not try to over sell anything. We were updating our 32 yr old system before it broke down. Clean-up was great.

  • Things started out well but ended up downhill. The unit did not work the first day there was a need for the AC. Of course after everything had been paid then there was no rush on the company's part to get over to fix it - although they did. I will give them that; the workers were good but the management wasn't as professional and didn't seem inclined to reply to other requests, which seems to be an unfortunate trend these days. I've tried them several times now about work and have heard nothing back. Don't trust all A+ ratings on Angie's List. I have 2 tune ups with them, which I am owed according to my contract. Let's see what happens. I will update then.

  • 1 hr 20 mins after appt time for initial visit, salesman called to tell me he was running a little late. I said something like, "A little? it's 1 hr 20 mins late." He asked if he could come over (it was already 6:20pm) and I said I couldn't accommodate that. I asked him to call me the next morning to reschedule and he said he would call first thing. Never heard back from him, so I figured he didn't want the job.

  • I called Jeff at Basic Refrigeration, Heating & AC. He said he could make it out to me the next day and would call with a time. He did call back as promised and showed up promptly the next morning. He thoroughly checked everything out inside and out and determined that it only needed a freon charge. I was thrilled as another big-name HVAC company had told me previously that the unit was completely shot and they would have a salesman call me with replacement costs (but that's a whole 'nother story). My ac is now working fine once again. Jeff was professional, thorough and, above all, honest! I would highly recommend his services.

  • Worst customer service ever experienced. Please see the verbatim quote sent through email from Bert, their Sales Manager "So you are going with guys who didn€™t do their job properly and measure your home. That makes sense. Good luck with Goodman or Rudd equipment. Builder's grade. I went with York because that is the same equipment we installed over in Morristown. Good luck with everything." Needless to say once Bert received word I was not booking on his quote, his attitude towards the customer dramatically changed.

  • They came a couple of times and knew what they were doing. They determined that the wiring leading to the thermostat was incorrect (they did not put this in originally). It was a complex problem and they fixed it. I had a service agreement with them. They service the heating and air conditioning once yearly. They also check the outlets in the house once a year and also check the piping once a year. My system is under a five year warranty. The first year was free and after that they had a bargain rate. They also give you a bunch of coupons for work needed done that is not covered by the warranty.

  • The company can quickly schedule an appointment for the free estimate, notice the customer by using text and email to communicate, their representative come on time and provide reasonable price with reasonable equipment. The installation took about one day and an half, their techs work hard, the furnace could provide heat same day to keep the house warm, so far the furnace is running smooth without any issue, but we have to observe the AC system next summer. We do have some issues with the company due to the misunderstanding but often can quickly resolve with the help from Joe Rogers, their vp. In general, this is a very good company they really care about their reputation and their customers. I would recommend the company without hesitating and rehire them for next hvac job.
