  • In the initial consultation Dr. Blumenstock assured me that oral appliance was proven effective in treating even moderate to severe OSA.  I told him of my wish to get away from using the annoying CPAP machine. He said oral appliance has a much better success rate than CPAP so I scheduled an appointment for a fitting.
    However, at the end of oral appliance fitting (2nd session) Dr. Blumenstock unexpectedly said i should use the oral appliance in addition to the CPAP, and also to use surgical tape over my mouth to keep any air from escaping.
    W**? This was not discussed on the initial consultation and left me feeling like i had been duped by a con artist. When clearly, I was led to believe that the oral appliance was a replacement to CPAP and not some kind of CPAP add-on helper product.  
    Additionally, Dr. Blumenstock's demeanor is smug, and arrogant. Also he  is heavy handed in the extreme.  He will stick his hands in your mouth brusquely like he is changing a tire and uses alot of pressure.  He has an impatient style with the way he fits the appliance to the patient and overall the process is not a pleasant one.
    While his staff is genuinely pleasant, I can not recommend Dr. Blumenstock or any medical practitioner who would deceive, omit facts, or who has such poor listening skills.

  • Dr. Erin Curtis said she could solve my laptop vs desktop screen vision issue by custom making glasses that would accommodate 13 inches to laptop screen, and 30 inches to desktop screen.  She explained the technology of progressive lenses has greatly improved in the last few years and she was right.  I have to say these new progressives have worked out just great for me and i am so glad i discussed this option with her.
    I called their office on the off chance my prescription had come in a day early and asked if i could pick up the glasses that same day and i could get there about 30 minutes before their tech, Ty would leave for the day.  Amazingly, he waited for me and  agreed to stay to allow me to get the glasses fit.
    This is an exceptionally responsive, competent, and friendly business.  They all have top notch attitudes, from office staff  on up and they have demonstrated they will go the extra distance to deliver service. 
    This is the first time i have actually been enthusiastic about a vision care business.   We will definitely use them in the future.

  • Their office is clean, peaceful, and neat. The office layout is efficient and not congested.  The staff is personable, friendly, and attentive.  Typically, I do not enjoy visiting medical types but this experience was quite pleasant.  Dr. Moss was wonderful to work with and generously answered all of my and my wife's questions. They offered us discounts on quality frames and they went to exceptional lengths to explain how the technology has changed in the last few years.  I observed them going the extra mile to help other patients to get best value for their glasses.  Dr. Moss was thorough and competent. I never felt the typical rushing to get to the next patient often associated with doctors.  Being new to the area, we are very happy to have found this provider.

  • On more than one occasion he was rude to his staff who were very nice and professional. It was very off putting as a client to see that. My recommendation as experienced elsewhere was blood work was performed before physical to review at physical to determine next steps needed for future care. I would like more doctor's to be as proactive with preventative measures to insure better assessments of a patient health needs to determine next steps. I also felt like I was wasting his time being a healthy specimen as if he wants to profit from the sick.

  • I was seen immediately, everyone was very attentive and explained every procedure. I was admitted and spent four days. Over the next 5 months I was in and out of the ER six times and hospitalized two more times for surgeries. Every member of the hospital staff, from the doctors to the nurses and aides to the person who brought my meals and the repairman who fixed the radiator in my room was extremely professional and even more importantly they were just plain nice. Every day I was given a list of my medicines and copies of my blood work for the day. On those occasions when I had to call a nurse they answered right away and came quickly. And as a plus the food was great.

  • This was my first time utilizing the ophthalmology office and services of Atlantic Eye Physicians. Due to a move, I needed a new eye doctor and I chose Atlantic Eye Physicians from Angie's List. The office was very clean and nice with lot's of pleasant space in the waiting room. It's a full service ophthalmology office. I was just going for my annual eye examination, new lens and new frames. The examination and visit was very thorough and excellent.
    After the initial testing and examination, I waited a short bit to see Dr. Michael Su. Dr. Su was very good and helpful with reviewing my eye examination results and explaining options to me. We did discuss, too, Lasik options but, do to my age and eye needs, it would not benefit me much. His guidance and candor made this a very pleasant experience.
    I buy my frames at another Frame/Eye Boutique and although Atlantic Eye Physicians has their own frames and shop, they did not pressure me or give me grief for not purchasing my frames from them.
    I would definitely recommend Atlantic Eye Physicians and will use them again!!!

  • I am very pleased since they moved to our neighborhood. They showed up just in time for me. I had started looking for a place close to home to re-invent my yoga practice. Schedule schematic should be easier to read on-line in terms of timeline of classes. Teachers should also communicate better so as to not interfere with classes interupting with delay into next class time. I find the diversity amongst the different styles of teachers here very optimal in getting what is needed from a new be to a novice. I hope they continue to grow their cliental which will only keep them here in my backyard for the long haul. I come twice a week, if i could without obligation of work etc...I would come more often. Namaste.
