    Single Solution Construction
Single Solution Construction did an excellent job of renovating our bathroom & building our deck. His employees were on time every day and finished the project ahead of time. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a general contractor.

I hired Nick in April to do a full renovation of my home. This included 2 bathrooms, a finished basement, a kitchen, painting the entire home, refinishing hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings in the living area which is connected to the kitchen and a cast iron railings in the entry way stairway. Upon meeting Nick he was very personable and as we discussed the details of the project he mentioned many design ideas that would have never crossed my mind that we could implement into the project. The kitchen renovation included removing a existing walls so that the space between the living room and the kitchen would be open. He also installed new cabinets, an island, counter tops, new lighting and all of the appliances. The basement project consisted of installing new tile throughout the basement and a full bath. Overall I was very pleased with the work he did on my home. His pricing was fair. It was done in a timely fashion and the quality was great. Everything came out exactly as I'd hope and I couldn't recommend him more.

    Magnolia Home Remodeling Group
The project went well. I contacted them and was visited by a sales rep who worked with us to figure out our best solution to replace two badly rotted bay windows. The quoted priced was good but not cheap. I was told it would be several weeks before the windows were ready. I was called several weeks later and a date arranged. The crew showed up promptly and removed the old windows, cleaned and replaced some rot, and then installed the new windows in one day. The clean up was very good, with only some very minor stray materials (a single nail, a small strip of flashing) found over the course of the next week. My interior was pristine. There was one minor problem that the crew tried to fix and couldn't so a replacement was ordered. The replacement part was installed and all is right now. Vic, the project manager, was responsive and kept me apprised of all the steps. I would hire again.

    Single Solution Construction
I hired Nick to renovate my kitchen. This included new tile, base molding, cabinet & counter top installation, backsplash, lighting, electrical, plumbing and a skylight. My family was going on a vacation for 2 weeks and Nick assured me that it would be finished before we returned. He was even kind enough to recommend a cabinet company that he is familiar with that offers the contractor a referral kickback but instead had the cabinet company discount our cabinet purchase instead. 2 days before our return Nick notified me that the project was completed ahead of schedule and during the process I was constantly updated with photos of how the project was progressing. Nick's work surpassed everything I envisioned my kitchen to be. Not only was the quality of the work fantastic but it was also very ensuring to know that the kitchen was completed ahead of schedule because I have a large family and my kitchen is very important because I have 4 young grandchildren. I would definitely recommend Single Solution Construction to anyone that needs a reliable high quality contractor.

    MVP Contracting & Son
MVP has done a lot of work on my house over the years. They have installed Pergo flooring in several rooms. Ripped off old roof (3 layers) and put on new roof. Installed replacement windows. Painted the entire interior of my house, and fixing cracks in walls. Installed new storm door. Repaired gutters and bilko door.
Mike is a great guy and very helpful. He's helped me out on many occasions. He and his crew are neat, honest, and pricing is very fair. I trust them implicitly and have recommended them to neighbors and friends.

    Carlson Brothers Inc
Wonderful.   We had a pesky leak at the joining of the roof and bedroom wall (refinished attic) that no one could fix -- all who saw it said it was not the skylight.   Ron Carlson took one look, said it was, replaced the skylight and voila! no leak.  responsive, professional installers, great price.   what is not to like?

    Renewal by Andersen
They were supposed to send a tech out, so I stayed home waiting for them. Nobody ever showed up. When I called they said he did show up and rang my doorbell, however I was there and never heard it. They sent another tech out later and he did call my cell. He did fix the issue and was great. My issue was with the customer service who sided with the initial tech that said he did come out. It took weeks for me to get a 15 min job done.

    Power Home Remodeling

Our consultant from Power Home Remodeling Group, Stephen Perri, was a friendly, well-spoken comfortable guy who represented himself and his company well.  He came over to give a free estimate on windows in the second floor of our house which he did very smoothly  and created an educational environment in which I learned a great deal about how the latest state of the art windows operate.  His explanations about his companies' products were well done, plus he did so without bad mouthing rival companies.  He actually had some good things to say about some of their products while at the same time making his own products look better just through example and demonstration.

He answered every question that we had, explained how the entire process would proceed  and gave a number of payment options at the end.  A professional  experience that was presented well without sounding like a high pressure sales tactic as a number of salespeople might try.

I would give high marks to Mr. Perri for the experience.

I got an email today from someone named Lee...the email read verbatim:
I came to your house and looked at the window, unfortunately this type of job is not "our cup of tea."  Sorry but we can't help you with the project.  Lee
What does that mean???  and what kind of company responds to someone looking to hire them saying it's "not their cup of tea"??? They installed the window, I certainly thought they could fix it...but even if they can't, or don't do that type of work anymore, what kind of response is that to give a potential customer???  I emailed him back asking if he could recommend a company I could contact to do the job for us...but he never even answered.
For a company to be in business as long as they have been to respond to an estimate request like that is not only unprofessional, but rude.  I have a large sun room on the back of my house that has 3 walls of it that is all windows that need to be completely replaced.  I had planned on using them in the spring to do it...but forget it now.  I would never use them, or recommend them again.
Very disappointed in their version of customer assistance.
