  Single Solution Construction

  I hired Nick in April to do a full renovation of my home. This included 2 bathrooms, a finished basement, a kitchen, painting the entire home, refinishing hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings in the living area which is connected to the kitchen and a cast iron railings in the entry way stairway. Upon meeting Nick he was very personable and as we discussed the details of the project he mentioned many design ideas that would have never crossed my mind that we could implement into the project. The kitchen renovation included removing a existing walls so that the space between the living room and the kitchen would be open. He also installed new cabinets, an island, counter tops, new lighting and all of the appliances. The basement project consisted of installing new tile throughout the basement and a full bath. Overall I was very pleased with the work he did on my home. His pricing was fair. It was done in a timely fashion and the quality was great. Everything came out exactly as I'd hope and I couldn't recommend him more.

  Better Basement did a great job. They transformed a completely unfinished space into a beautiful, comfortable space that will surely increase the value of our home. Joe and Leo were fabulous to work with and made sure the project was completed in a timely manner with the highest of quality. Leo's attention to detail is amazing. He built a custom bar and wine cellar that has our friend's envious! His tile work in the bathroom was amazing too. In addition, he and his crew kept the work space very clean, helping to minimize any dust that would make its way up stairs. We absolutely love the final product and would highly recommend them.

  First of all John is extremely patient and full of ideas. All I wanted was to fix my walls and add a simple floor for the lowest price possible. He gave me different options and pointed out how my current set up did not add any function to the space. We originally had shelves and a room full of clutter, a long hallway and no space for anything else. The basement was only used for laundry and storage. he suggested having the whole thing gutted. Each day I would leave for work in the morning and come home to more progress on the basement. I left him access to my home and in addition to being GREAT at his work he and his brother were extremely trustworthy. I felt comfortable leaving them in my home while I was at work.
  
  John takes much pride in his work my floor was in terrible condition and incredibly uneven throughout the entire area. At no point did he rush or charge more despite the fact that the floor installation was much more difficult then he had anticipated. He had to level my floor section by individual section to make it even.
  From the floor installation, to putting up walls and giving me beautiful recessed lighting. He even set up my tv connections so no wires would show through the walls.
  The finishing touches were great! He even built discrete storage spaces. I can not say enough about John and his company. I would use them in a heart beat and recommend them to even the pickiest clients.

  Meyer For Hire

  The quality of work was excellent, but it was very difficult to get them to come on certain days because they are so busy. They don't always call back when they say they will. They are very polite, professional and they tell you exactly what they are going to do before they do it.
