    Ramella's Canine Academy
Very nice people. One of the best instructors I have talked to. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would give her a 5. Very affordable. Very flexible. Very knowledgable. I would definitey recommend her out of any trainer. I plan on using her in the future. She was terrific. She even called me back because I had to get a prodecure done on my neck. She called me back to see how I was doing. Her prices are very reasonable compared to others. At the time, my neck was killing me and I was more concentrating about that. If you look at any trainer that comes out to your home, it would be anywhere from $1200-$2400, so she was extremely reasonable. She wanted me to involved, that was where the problem was, because of my neck. I do intend on calling her back when my neck is a little better and having her train my golden retriever. I thought $700 was very reasonable for a trainer, because I got prices quoted $2400, $3600, and they were doing the same exact thing. I believe she was very very knowledgeable. I think she was a great human being. She actually was praying for my neck because I had to go through a procedure and she said her congregation would pray for me. I only have good things to say about her.

Doctor Mark was very professional and very compassionate as we went through those trying times.

I would definitely use them again if I as to get another pet.

It went very well. The staff is experienced and dedicated to taking care of boarding cats. The place has lots of windows for cats to look through. We booked a very large crate called condo that goes up to the ceiling for about $23 per night.

    Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital
After being quoted $2100 for surgery for my dog, I was presented at bill for $2800. When I complained about the unexpected increased cost to Dr. Cerf (owner) he said "I worked too hard to have to deal with people like you."  The place was empty each time I went there and that's the reason why.  Another vet said "A pet is expensive - you shouldn't have one if you can't afford one." This after I paid my bill in full and spent close to $5000 (including $112 for expressing my dog's anal glands - something my primary vet does for free) in less than 3 weeks at their practice.
There is a reason people only go there once.
Its not the lack of care for the pets - its the lack of care for the pets owners and their wallets. Do yourself a favor and stay away unless you have a black Amex. That is what they really care about.

My cat was seen on the same day of our call for the first tie. The doctor was very friendly and discussed all findings and work up options with us. She dealt with our hissing cat very well, performed declawing and micro-chipping on the same day of the sick visit. Staff are all friendly and professional. Very good office hours.

    Banfield Pet Hospital
For such a densely populated area, they have a very small office that was crowded both times I have been there. The wait was obnoxiously long. The front office staff were a bit cold and unfriendly, but the nurses(?) and the doctor were very pleasant despite their rush to make sure everybody was seen in a timely matter.

They are very friendly when you get there.  The place is very cheerful and clean.  They have two or three dog groomers.  I usually bring my dog to this one place and he'll come out shaking.  He'd be crying when we get in the car to go there and crying on our way home. They are close enough that I can actually walk to go there.  They seem easy going and do not seem nervous by the time I pick them up, they want to get out of there because they want to go home but not the same level of nervousness and fear that they have with the other place. They answer the questions about anything we need to be careful of about the dogs. The job they did with dog cuts is really well done.

They were very professional and they went above and beyond. They were truly caring and were very respectful of me and my cat. Dr Pla is extremely caring, understanding and knowledgeable. Their receptionist, Bethany, is amazing!

It was absolutely horrible.  I had to wait in the waiting room for 2 hours because they were behind in their schedule.  It was extremely expensive and they overcharged me and refused to credit me back to my credit card.  Instead they gave me credit to come back and see them again which I do not want to do.  Then they refused to fax over my medical records to my new vet.  I had to call back several times and they were being very rood about sending me the records.  They also were not helpful in diagnosing my cat and I had to go to another vet to find out what was wrong with my cat.  I think everything is overpriced and service is very poor there.  They are also not knowledgable about exotic cats.  They looked dumbfounded when they saw my hairless cat.  Their receptionist was actually incredibly rood as well.
